I don't remember a guy going as long in the concussion protocol as Derek Anderson has.  It doesn't matter from a football perspective for the Bills but I really feel for the guy.  He was happy playing Mr. Mom and came out of retirement for us.  Is he another Kevin Kolb?

Bills have been under the Cone of Silence on this one as far as I can tell except to say that he's "still in concussion protocol."

I have a feeling he didn’t really want to play but was interested in tutoring Allen.  I thought he was holding his arm when he was hurt.

Who those picks eventually got traded to and what those teams used them for is completely irrelevant.

Buffalo owned them and used them to get a QB who might eventually become a franchise QB.

And that's just dumb. Using the 12th, the 53rd and the 56th picks and Cordy Glenn besides to get an offensive player is anything but neglecting the offense. It's building the foundation for the offense.

    We will see about that

    No surprise here.

We have a HC who ignores the math, and wants to run the ball and play defense and likes punting on the opponents 40 yard line when it's 4th and short.

Our HC has absolutely nothing in common with any of the top coaches you see around the NFL.

    This is Dick Jauron 2.0.

It is hard to win in this league!

So, using the 12th, 53rd and 56th picks on the offense is neglecting it?

'Cause those three picks and Cordy Glenn besides were all traded for the pick we used on Josh Allen.

We didn't neglect the offense at all. Getting your franchise QB (we hope) is pretty much the opposite of neglect. But apart from that, yeah, they spent most of the rest of their draft and cap resources on the defense.

This early in a rebuild, especially a rebuild that starts with cap trouble, you aren't going to be able to fill all the holes. That's just the way it works. People get all pissed that we didn't spend more resources on the offense. If we had, the defense would be a lot worse. Would it really have been that much more satisfying to have a poor offense and a poor defense, both? Not for me. At least I can see good football when the D is on the field.

The Bucs picked 53rd and Pats picked 56th.  No offensive picks.

After Khalil Mack was traded, it was reported that one team said they wanted Mack but couldn't let go two first-round picks considering this year's would be a Top 10 pick.

Is there any question at all that that team/GM was Buffalo/Beane?

Just great!  Hold the other team to 10 points and do not score any.  That is the mentality of a this regime.

We’re going to sign more and better players than we are going to lose.  There won’t be any compensatory picks.

I agree, sign a brand new OL to go with dawkins at Guard.  Draft WRs and sign 1 decent FA WR.  Add a CB to rid ourselves of the guy some call Phillips Gaines.  I call him not acceptable.

Gaines sucks.  What happened to Lewis?
