It's still early in the season but at the moment the "process is looking very successful; I really am not missing Watkins, Darby, Dareus, or even Gilmore! Wish them all the best but I love this team! Class and Character - the product of a great rebuild and yes - THE PROCESS!!!!

Him and sBeane know what they are doing.  They are building a TEAM not individuals.

BUtler did a great job in SD and set that team up for a long time. He was good in Buffalo, basically rebuilding the team so that in 1999 it was a legit super bowl contender.

Also, anyone who criticizes him for “quitting” is playing fast and loose with the truth given Wilson’s narrow-minded pig-headedness during that whole episode. I appreciate Wilson for a lot of things, but he was a poor owner overall.

Just untrue. The proof in the pudding? What he built in SD from nothing.

I was talking about the Bills.

Making the playoffs a couple years ago was cool, but I don't think anyone would argue that it really lifted the dark cloud over this franchise. Our journey back to respectability/true competitiveness continues.

But I think this might be the year that a page is turned, emphatically.

I've watched an unhealthy amount of preseason football this year. And it seems like the Bills might be really good. Top to bottom. And they've got star players to make impact plays at every level of the field on offense and defense.

    Something feels different now.

Other than the Patriots, I can't think of an opponent I fear. And the only reason I fear them is not because of talent; it's because they're smarter than everyone else.

I think we're going 12-4 this year. We'll be good out of the gate. The future will arrive suddenly, as it often does when teams turn the corner. Within a month or two of the season starting, the Bills being a top team will just be accepted. I don't think there'll be any sweating out a playoff spot.

    Go Bills!

It definitely feels different.  It all comes down to Josh.  We don’t need anymore 10-7 or 9-6 losses.

Watching highlights this weekend, I repeatedly say replays of a throw that Mayfield made for a TD on a long pass down the middle to a WR in the end zone, who subsequently got creamed by the safety behind him.

Josh makes a very similar throw through a tight window that Zay drops before getting creamed by the safety behind him.

Mayfield was widely praised for this score while Allen was criticized by a variety of commentators (including Tasker) for risking his WR on such a tight window throw with a safety behind him.

    Go figure.

Good receivers make that catch.  That was a nice throw by Josh.

He wasn’t on the practice field Tuesday at St. John Fisher. In most cases when a player isn’t in attendance it typically due to an injury or excused absence. For G Isaac Asiata it was for a much different reason.

Asiata has decided to retire at just 26-years old.

He couldn’t wait for halftime of the opener!  How dare him
