I mean, whatever.... I’ll take the opportunity to crush an AFC playoff team in front of 70,000 rabid, football deprived fans.
I also happen to live between buffalo and Pitt so I’ve grown up amongst those self righteous pricks of a fan base. Personally, I honestly can’t think of a better way for the season to start than letting them all in on the reality that their time has passed and they have no business thinking they can hang with the big dogs of the conference.
Are they really that bad?

I've actually asked a few Bills from the mid 80s who they thought was better... Reggie or Bruce. The consensus was Reggie was a better...
I love Bruce but I agree with this. Bruce had 2 more career sacks than Reggie but Reggie played 15 years. Bruce played 19. It took Bruce playing 4 extra years to break that record. They are the two greatest defensive ends to ever play in my opinion but Reggie was slightly better

So, how would we know where vaccinated and unvaccinated sections are for games? Should I just buy a ticket?

Bears on SNF is the ultimate buzz kill. I don't think anyone outside of Chicago wants to watch them. Do they really get higher ratings? Why not pick a more intriguing team to play @LAR? Isn't Dalton the presumed starter? Seems like a real dud of a matchup.
Bills fans: if recent history holds, Bills will be wearing all white and the Steelers will be in black. Pretty depressing for home opener. Really wish we would go back to our traditional home colors.
I agree. They could have chosen any other team to open against the Rams. Why not go with the Seahawks or 49ers. I cringe when I hear the bears are on primetime

Brady is gone. The Patriots might make the playoffs but their super bowl glory days are over

Not sure if anything new here
Week 3 says "Football team" what football team are they talking about? Seems kind of messed up to just tell us we're playing a football team but not say who it is

I thought I saw somewhere that Tampa was as well... but that seems to have gone quiet.
Tampa Bay is a Sunday 4:25 game. We only have one SNF game but we also have the Thanksgiving night game which is on NBC with the same crew so it's kind of like another SNF game

Carolina could be flexed to a primetime game which would make 5. Last year the Denver game was flexed and that gave us 5. Basically its the same as last season for primetime games.
I just thought we would have like 2 additional 4:25 games that were national games like the Colts game
-
-So it looks like 4 Primetime games
-One 4:25 game
And all the remaining are 1pm games

Week 3 Wft
Week 4 Hous
Week 11 Colts
Week 17 ATL
So just Week 9 left
That would have to be at Jacksonville. It's the only team left

My guess is that even though a state/muni can have standards, the league can override a team's decision if they don't feel it's safe, like last season when they made sure that fans were far enough away from the players.
That never made sense to me. Like, how close did they expect fans to be to the players?

Are you vaccinated?
Get the dang tickets already.
No, I'm not vaccinated and I don't plan on getting it either. That's why I called them to find out about the policy

I would be willing to bet that week 17 is the Dolphins. The NFL has always used our last two games as division opponents since 2016.
2016: Dolphins, at Jets
2017: at Patriots, at Dolphins
2018: at Patriots, Dolphins
2019: at Patriots, Jets
2020: at Patriots, Dolphins
The schedule makers are so predictable

Did anyone not see the "schedule leaks" thread that's been up since yesterday?

That's what I thought but the girl that worked at the stadium told me it's up to the NFL

So, because I'm looking at going to the Bucs game, I just called Raymond James Stadium about their policy on vaccines and the girl I spoke with said that it's the NFL's job to determine whether or not they require vaccines in their stadium and she said they haven't been notified yet. I thought this was up to the county executive and governor to determine this as well as the stadium people. I need to know this as I am looking to purchase tickets asap. Does this sound right?

I knew they were passionate about their fanbase, I didn't know they were like that. I hate Pats fans. I wanted to punch a Pats fan in the face at a Bills game once. The dude sat right in front of me and every time the Pats got a first down, he stood up and did the first down sign but the way he did it was so cheesy and he would look at us most of the times he did it. I couldn't stand it
