Honestly, it's kind of shocking how much worse his defensive acquisitions have been compared to Sean.

Who are our best defenders currently on the roster?

    Poyer

    Hyde

    Tre

    Milano

    Jerry

Do you notice something?  4 of those players were acquired by McD without the McBeane.  Jerry was obviously already here.

Compare it to the list of hacks that Beane has acquired. I'd type out all the bums and disappointments but it'd take too long.

All I know is if you eliminate the 2017 fellas, our defense would be the worst in the NFL.  If you eliminate Beane's JAG brigade, eh, we'd be okay.

Is it time for McD to make the picks again? Beane got the QB, let's thank him for his service and let's put the King of William and Mary back in the Kirk chair.

I'm not questioning a thing Beane does. He's earned my trust and respect.

its because Giants/Cowboys will draw about 5x the audience given the size of those fanbases.  its all about the ad revenue and eyeballs my friend

I think that's a little overrated. I think people do care about matchups and in a lot of instances I believe most people will watch simply because it's football. I usually don't care what the matchup is, even if it's two teams I don't care for I will watch every Sunday night because it's football. Not because the Giants are playing the Cowboys. I think most football fans are watching either way

Why do you think it won't be Tampa?  The Bills are the best team they play at home.  Giants, Cowboys maybe have a bit more glitz.  Saints are a big rivalry but without Brees, not the same.

I'm just trying to think along the lines of how the NFL thinks. They have the same patterns every year when it comes to these matchups. They love putting the Cowboys on primetime a bunch every year. The Saints, while losing Brees is still going to be an appealing matchup to them and its a division opponent and for some reason the NFL loooooves the Bears on Primetime. Even with all the crappy QBs and teams they have had over the years they still get 4 or 5 primetime games a year. I also think that the Bills are their best home opponent and would be an awesome game but I don't see it. I could be wrong though

The schedule is usually announced randomly right around now, 1-3 weeks before the draft on a random Thursday.

So I’m curious how many primetime games does TBD think the Bills will get?

    I’d set the O/U at 3.5

    HOME

NYJ, MIA, NE, HOU, IND, ATL, CAR, PIT, WFT

    AWAY

NYJ, MIA, NE, NO, TB, TEN, JAX, KC

I only see @ KC as a lock, with 2-3 more coming out of @/vs MIA, @/vs NE, vs PIT, vs IND, @ TB

My guess would be @ KC in an early season (week 2-3) SNF game, @ NE in a mid-early season MNF, @ TB in a mid-late season MNF, and vs PIT in a late season SNF. Then a week 16-17 flex option vs MIA.

So I’m placing my number at 4, with a 5th possible likely flex option.

I’d like to see NE at home in primetime, but I can only envision them getting 2 primetime games with @ TB being a lock for them, and then the NFL making their own primetime a home game thus making it more likely, IMO, that we play them on the road on primetime.

The one I’m least confident in is @ TB and could see that 4th primetime game rather be that home game vs MIA to give us 2 home & 2 away instead of 1/3

    Thoughts?

Bills at Chiefs would be an awesome opening Sunday night game. Somehow the league will mess this up though and give this a 1PM time slot so they can schedule the Giants at the Cowboys instead. You know because that game is more important

I hope it’s not the Saints.  I’d like to have some film on them post Brees.

I hope it’s not the Skins, I’d prefer to play Fitz once his arm gets tired in week 8.

i hope it’s not the Pats.  I’d like to see what the new in flux of talent does to their play.

I think it will be the @Pats.  Or Colts @ Bills.

Right now it looks at though it's gonna be Winston as their starter. He doesn't scare me at all and if it's Taysom Hill, even better

Dude was the epitome of "process." Worked his way up from 7th rounder to WR1, all the while having a personality and having fun. I'm willing to bet you're in the minority of Bills fans that find him to be a loser.

He always seemed to be one of the few WRs in the league that actually gave Darrelle Revis fits. I can remember a few big games he had against him

What may be the only negative aspect of the Bills success for me, is my reduced interest in the draft.  It is much more interesting when your team is drafting in the top 10! With that said, I hope we don't have another exciting draft for many years!

I actually prefer it in the position they are now. When the Bills picked in the top 10, the rest of the first round I didn't care for. I still always watched to see if we traded up but now that we are picking at 30, I'm actually a lot more interested in the whole thing

They spent hundreds of millions on their renovations pretty much completely changing their stadium($655m for bears $400m for packers).  We moved some bushes around, made bigger entrances and painted($130m)

There’s different kinds of renovations. Ours were bandaids theirs were pretty much complete rebuilds. Completely different.

The bowl needs to be replaced, concourses widened, plumbing(I think they fixed a lot of that during last reno) it’s like $500m+ estimate to get everything where it needs to be to last another 20-30 years

Have you seen Lambeau? For all the money they put into that stadium it doesn't look like anything special. You can tell just by watching it on TV that it's a much older stadium. But it's viewed as a major historical landmark because of Lombardi and the history there. No one gives a ***** about ours
