Only 4 Primetime?  Anything less than 5 is a letdown

I said before it would not surprise me if we only got one SNF game. Although we get the opener and MNF games, I don't think the NFL is quite there yet with putting us on SNF more than once. If this is the real schedule

This one seems probable given his accuracy before the release last year....

Last year on May 12th.  The morning before the schedule was released later that day....

This would also go along with this

I've been skeptical about this account all day but with it having a second source. Seems legit

We had the same amount as the Bears last year lol and 1 less than the Packers and Cowboys.

It must be hard to keep up “the NFL hates the Bills!” Narrative.

Exactly. The Packers always get more. And there is no way the Bears should get anywhere close to that. They are by far the most boring primetime team every year. We got one Sunday night game last year. The Packers and Bears generally get 2 minimum

So four teams with huge fan bases have had more primetime games than us in the last couple of years and you’re concerned we aren’t getting enough respect?

If yoy think we don't a huge fan base, you're nuts. And we're actually a bigger market than the Packers are

    Prove that.

You don't know that these teams, especially The Cowboys and Packers max out on primetime games every year? The NFL already proves it. I don't need to

Gambling revenue.  You get more action having two games at once on Monday instead of nine at once on Sunday.  You'll eventually have two MNF games every week.  It will be interesting to see when they push it into Tuesday night.

Has a team ever been scheduled for two TNF games in a row?

Yeah, the Cowboys have been doing it the last few years. They play Thanksgiving and then the following the Thursday. I don't think they would do back to back Thursday games with us if we're already playing Thanksgiving and the opener at the Rams. That would be 3 Thursday games. Don't think they'll do that

The Bills could open up the entire season, could play on Thanksgiving, and CBS chose Buffalo as its only protected game of the year and you’re wondering where the respect is?  They basically have the broadcast triple crown.

I was listening to NFLR the other day and they had the exact opposite take in general as you, and most certainly about the TEN MNF game. It was basically “Buffalo has arrived” and “why schedule another game when Buffalo is on. Everybody will be watching Allen take on the Titans”.

But that's my point, what's the point of the 2nd MNF game? And why week 2? I understood why the NFL did it the opening week before but even then the games were one right after the other, not overlapping. Why would they schedule another game that they know is gonna take some viewership away from our game on the same night? That just seems odd to me. The fact that they're doing it and that it's some random week they chose

  7. I still feel the NFL Schedule makers don't respect us enough to give us anymore than one Sunday Night game. We only got one last year and if these leaks are right we will get the opening Thursday game but if the Chiefs game is 4:25 on CBS, then where is the SNF game? The one MNF game they announced so far is overlapped by another game while the our game is on and is going to take viewership away from the game. What's the reason for that? And in week 2? The NFL just chose a random week to put 2 MNF games on and make them overlap each other? the NFL also seems to have the "just put them on Thanksgiving" mentality like their trying to save the other primetime games for other teams

I get you have Bills blinders on but San Fran is a huge TV market with a huge national following. They 100% would drive ratings if put in regardless of QB

I get it but if I'm making the schedule, there's nothing that makes me wanna start a season with Garappolo

    Could be Trey Lance.

But what Lance done to get people excited for it?

  9. He was just on Schopp and the Bulldog and said that the only reason that the Eagles and Chiefs announced that their games in week 2 were "Home Openers" is because both the Royals and Phillies are playing at home week 1 so they already knew they wouldn't be home for week 1. Bills at Rams week 1 still possible

The NFL doesn't have a draft lottery because unlike in the NHL or NBA where top draft picks will almost always live up to expections, the NFL draft is absolutely full of busts.  Who are the top guys in the NHL?  Crosby, McDavid, Ovechkin, Matthews, who were all drafted first overall.  Burrow is the first #1 overall NFL pick who actually looks worth it since Luck way back in 2012.  For every Burrow there are three Jared Goffs, tanking in the NFL is a fool's errand because the draft is such an utter crapshoot.

Yeah, but the NFL isn't gonna wanna keep running into situations like this and like I said, it gives teams reasons to lose. That shouldn't happen
