  1. This the most coverage I can remember getting for training camp on NFL Network like ever. In years past it would be like "meanwhile in Buffalo they have Josh Allen. Now let's go to Oxnard and spend 3 hours talking about the Cowboys"

    This.

Dabs had limited to no success other then coaching for the Pats (Brady) and Alabama (33rd NFL Team).  Loved Dabs.. but to underestimate what impact JA17 had on Dab's success is like denying Belichik's success because of Tom Brady.   Truth of the matter, both make each other greater.. and that JA17 campaigned for Dorsey, and, now it's 'spiced' up with Joe Brady.. who has had exposure to Joe Brr...  I tend to believe that this offense is going to a next level of efficiency.

    Go Bills!

Belichick has had very little success without Brady though. 9 full seasons without him going back to his days in Cleveland and only 2 playoff seasons in those 9 years. Belichick's success in the Brady Era should be questioned. I don't think the made each other better, I think Brady made Belichick what he is and Belichick would have been fired from New England without him

I was not even disagreeing with you - just pointing out that adults have more means and options than little kids to get this crap if they really want it

Yes, I agree. But why should I go online and pay hundreds of dollars for an autograph if I can get something signed for free? Adults can go to a signing event if they want. I don't need the autograph that badly. Would it be cool to get? Sure. If I can't get it, will I be ok? Absolutely. But all these people with this "you no good piece of trash" attitude about getting something signed is beyond ridiculous

well guess what? If you’re one of those adult dudes that wants some signed bauble you are a actual big boy presumably with a job and money and you can go online and buy any number of autographed things. Something that a 9 year old probably can’t do.

It appears some are still missing the central point - Allen and others have limited time after these practices and can’t sign for everyone. They aren’t going to disappoint some kid in favor of some idiot and his girlfriend. Simple as that.

I get the point completely. You misunderstood what I said because you knew you were gonna come at me with backlash. Did you miss the part where I said kids should always come first? Or that if they don't get to adults because they sign for kids first, it's ok? All I said is some dudes like stuff like that for their man caves. I didn't say I would knock kids out of the way or even go for an autograph. People are so sensitive to this topic. You act like you wanna set my house on fire because I simply stated it's cool to have in man caves. Jesus Christ man

They publish all their episodes as podcasts.  You should be able to find it there.

Also, they are 100% right. If you are a grown adult asking another adult for an autograph then you need to grow a little thicker skin when you get ignored for the kids.

Kids should come first but there are some dudes that like stuff like that for their man caves. But you get pieces of crap that sell stuff like that for money which I think is a big reason that players don't do it. I don't have an issue with adults getting autographs but the kids should come first and if they don't get to the adults because of the kids then that's fine

After reading through the Tyrod legacy thread (really makes you love the offseason) I woke up this morning wanting to fight by ranking the top 3 quarterbacks for the Bills between the Post-Kelly era and before Josh arrived. Curious how each of you would rank the Bills quarterbacks between 1997-2017, here are your options:

    Todd Collins

    Doug Flutie

Rob Johnson (pro tip: this is not the answer)

    Alex Van Pelt

    Drew Bledsoe

    J.P. Losman

    Kelly Holcomb

    Trent Edwards

    Ryan Fitzpatrick

    Brian Brohm

    E.J. Manuel

    Thad Lewis

    Jeff Tuel

    Kyle Orton

    Tyrod Taylor

    Matt Cassel

    Nathaniel Peterman

    Who are your top 3?

    Flutie

    Bledsoe

    Taylor

Love Fitzpatrick but couldn't quite put him on the list

  8. I never seen him play because I was born in 86 but just based on stats, how about Lynn Swann? I understand the Steelers teams he played for and how good those teams were but he never had more the 61 catches in a season, only had 336 career catches in 9 seasons and only 5400 career receiving yards and somehow he is in the HOF? Again, maybe someone that watched him play could shed some light onto what kind of player he actually was but seems overrated to me

I know the Homers don’t want to see it, but there’s not a single “explosive” player on the O outside of Allen.  Diggs is a great player, but nobody worries about him burning them.  There’s nobody else on the team that can beat an average DB in a foot race.  The biggest reason I wanted a 1st rd WR was to add explosiveness to the playmaker group.  Right now, it’s not there.

Knox is the best bet to add YAC, that’s not great.  Hopefully Cook brings some help in turning short throws to long gains again.

As of Today the O goes as far as Allen takes it.

    James Cook says hello

I am not arguing that Watkins did not have issues.  He clearly did.   Just that Watkin's issues was not the main reason he was traded.  The main reason he was traded was his contract was expiring and the front office really did not expect the Bills to be any good so they got what they could get.

If it was all about culture, why did they bring in Benjamin has much less talent but is just as bad culturally (something Beane must surely should have known about). Tanking in this case, is not coaching to lose individual games since I don't believe McDermott would every do that.  Tanking in this case is setting up your roster to fail. I don't think there is any doubt that F.O. expected the Bills record to be much worse that year and then had to scramble when the Bills were still in the playoff picture late in the season.

I think going into the season Beane was expecting a 6 to 7 win team.  As it was, the team really was not very good but was extremely lucky and I am not talking about Andy Dalton.   Hauschka probably hit all his important field goals that season, including some very long ones. There were also a lot of questionable calls that went the Bills way, the Von Miller taunting call on Tyrod being the most obvious.  Finally, as someone mentioned earlier, that team had a historically bad worse point differential for a playoff team.  Nothing wrong with taking advantage of being lucky as long as you don't base your future plans on it (as the Bills definitely did not do).

Given all that, Beane did a masterful job responding to the unexpected situation and moving up to snag Allen.  However, I don't think he felt he would need to give up as much as he eventually did, the expectation was probably that the Bills would have a much earlier draft slot than 21.

They didn't bring in Benjamin until mid season and the reason they did was because they were sitting at 5-2 after 7 games. I don't think they expected to be there but once they realized they had a real legit at making the playoffs, they decided to make a move that they thought would help them get there.

I don't recall him saying definitively that he was going to back out, and that he had decided that he would tell Beane face-to-face that he wasn't signing. I remember him saying he was having serious second thoughts and doubts, but not that he was planning to back out. I certainly may be wrong, but that's how I remember it.

He said that on his plane ride here that he was gonna tell us that he was gonna go back and resign with the Rams. He said it right in his introductory press conference

I'm one of the last to 'believe all women' or '#metoo' for many reasons.

But let's ask a few common sense questions.

Apparently none of these 22-23 women did require a 3rd party or a recording since none exist.

Watson only hired women who were not savvy enough to require that level of safety or documentation.

That is the point. They put themself in a bad situation. That does not permit sexual misconduct, nor excuse it.

If Watson denied hiring therapists who required documentation or a chaperone, that would look really bad in a Civil suit.

Why not? What was expected? We don't know if that happened or not, but it should be a question that is asked.

Who did Watson reject, when hiring these specific women and why?

    A question.

Where are the male massage professionals? Why was no male hired?

Are there no licensed male massage therapists in Houston?

If this was a 'recovery treatment', and all supposed to be above board, why was a male never hired?

Certainly a man could have done a stronger, deeper muscle relaxation if that is what was expected.

Why didn't Watson hire any male therapists?

    Another Question:

Why did Watson not use the Texans vetted and approved massage therapists, on the company premises?

The therapy was offered at the facility free of charge, by vetted therapists, why not use it?

Why did Watson need to go private and offsite?

    Another Question:

If everything worked out well in a session, why didn't Watson continue to see the same therapist?

Why was there no repeat business?

If I am a licensed massage therapist, and I hook a professional athlete, I would keep that repeat business and advertise it.

It is good pay, and is great advertising. "I am June Mayfield, licensed massage therapist for Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans."

None of these women did that. Why not?

Why did one of the women advertise or market their experience with Watson?

So Watson only hired females, not in the Texans network, off Texans premises, who were naive enough to think this was a professional setting and require no backup or documentation, and had no repeat business with a superstar athlete....

    This is your stance?

Not predatory behavior at all in your eyes. 🤔

How would Watson know if the women he hired weren't savvy enough to require that level of safety or documentation? That's a lot of going out of your way to find that out. I'm not saying nothing happened but I refuse all 23 are telling the truth

Right. So you watched her interview then? Or you're willing to make judgments without hearing her side?

I don't care what her side says. When a woman is sewing a millionaire, I am not gonna fully believe everything they say. Like I said, women are very materialistic people, I'm not taking a side

But that's patently ridiculous. Juries are tasked with judging witness credibility all the time. You're allowed to make judgments. Go watch the Ashley Solis interview and see if you believe her. I find her much, much more credible than Deshaun Watson. Her testimony combined with the number of other women saying the same thing is more than enough evidence for me.

I'm not on the jury so I don't have to make that decision. I'm not taking a side on these cases. People everywhere believe women are angels. Tons of women are materialistic and they don't care. I am not gonna believe some women in these cases. Even Ashley Solis
