Myself, I think the Dolphins need to start line it up another quarterback, three concussions in one season for a quarterback is not good. He’s going to take a pounding next year and they’re just gonna be waiting for the ball to drop

Entirely possible. We truly don't know what's going to happen

Good luck with that lol. You wanna talk about seeing fans pulling their hair out. 😂

This is why players should only be drafted that fit multiple schemes. If a DC leaves or a coach decides to change a scheme, then only picking players that fit one particular scheme are useless

You'd be starting completely over defensively with that hire. Everyone complaining about wasting Josh's window - you're talking a 2-3 year transition from a personnel standpoint with a move like that.

Well then I guess the players better adapt lol

  4. Leslie Frazier's contract is now up and if McDermott and Beane are smart, he will not be resigned. I personally would like Vic Fangio. He had solid defenses in San Francisco and Chicago when he was with both teams. He's older but would be one of my top choices

  5. There is a reason football is one and done in the playoffs. It's the most physically demanding sport there is. That's why there are only 17 games as opposed to the 82 you get with Hockey and Basketball or the 162 you get with Baseball. With double elimination in football, you're essentially asking these players to play upwards of 25 games a season. Football isn't made for that. Keep it the way it is

“Guys were exhausted during the week and our coaches did the best they could try to modify the week . . . but there was just uncharacteristic things that were kind of happening . . . I have to kind of put that into effect and not as an excuse just this team has been fighting for so long and fighting through all of this adversity you almost run out of gas at some point,” Saffold said

I'm tired of hearing that. Were the Bengals or Jaguars out of gas? Part of going to a Super Bowl is winning these extra games. Saying that you're too exhausted is not an excuse. You have to keep going until the end, they clearly didn't

Can’t have the internal turmoil so either trade Josh, and that’s not going to happen or get rid of Diggs. Shed his contract, get a return in assets, draft pick(s) and/or player(s) and rebuild this offense that is more balanced. Now I don’t fault Diggs for being frustrated but this offense is lopsided and needs to be more reasonable.

Earlier in another post I clamored for Texas RB Bijan Robinson and while that may not happen my point is still the same. Provide better playmakers than the ones we have and get some of this pressure off of Josh, it’s too much and teams should not be this reliant on one player.

I don’t think it would be that difficult to fix this OL. While better players are needed I believe that they can be obtainable. Kansas City replaced their whole OL in one year and they are doing fine. Make Kromer earn his paycheck with a formidable run game.

It looks like there is some significant changes in store for the coaching staff and the roster but have it make sense with a logical strategy and personnel. Tone down this chaotic pass happy offense and get some balance to it.

To me some obvious departures would be Frazier, possibly Dorsey, Singletary, Davis and a couple/few OL. I don’t expect Poyer to be back either, we need better speed in the secondary.

It’s going to be quite the off season, Beane is going to have his hands full but it’s sorely needed because today was a total embarrassment.

How do morons not hear themselves when they say things?

‘I’ve said it already in earlier replies. My pitchfork isn’t completely out yet for McDermott.

‘’everyone makes mistakes. But your ability to learn and grow from those mistakes makes someone great. Of course I would be happy if the Bills won the SB next year or the year after. But right now I have not seen ANY evidence that McDermott has learned from his previous playoff coaching mistakes.

Maybe the light switch clicks next year?  Maybe I win the lotto. How long do you want to wait and chew through a potential HOF QB talent in his prime?  In sports you can never say well next year is it.  Guys get older. Guys get injured. Guys don’t progress. Guys regress. We missed 3 prime opportunities to win a SB when we had the same level of talent as everyone. There is no guarantee we roll out the same talent level next year.

His timeout usage is his biggest issue and his loyalty to people is his other big issue but I do believe he is the kind of coach that can get us there. Things need to change. He is on a shorter leash in my opinion, but it isn't the point yet to do anything.

His handling of the Hamlin situation is the only thing that earns him another shot in my mind. He was impressive with that. But he needs to make a lot of changes next year. They are 31st in tackling, Cincy was first, we were top 3 in drops & turnovers. Details matter & McD is not buttoned up on details. So next year needs to be different or yeah, it should be time for a change.

There needs to be changes, no doubt, but he deserves at least another year or 2
