  1. No. He was good, no doubt about it, but Hall or Wall of fame means longevity. If you are going to put him up there how about Anquan Boldin. He was great and he wore a Bill uniform.
  2. But does anyone actually know what his problem is. To say he will not play is like a NHL team I know that when a player is hurt they only say it is a upper body injury or a lower body injury which is telling you next to nothing. Do they expect him back before the snow falls?
  3. Am I wrong in thinking he had this foot problem the end of last year or before training camp? Anyone know exactly what it is? Greg Bird of the Yankees had a foot problem for months this year, although nothing showed on imaging. Went to see a foot specialist someplace down south who found a bone problem. He had surgery and in a matter of weeks was in the lineup as good as new. It just seems Glenn has been rehabbing the foot for a long time with no success. You would think they should have another plan.
  4. That was one of the greatest wins in years. Taylor had no backup halfback (why?), No back up receivers either. In two plus years he is now 17-15 with not exactly a Super Bowl lineup. Bottom line, he played great and it was a great win. Nothing else needs to be said.
  5. No one should have a problem with him being there because he has earned it, but maybe he should keep his opinions to himself, especially when it comes to politics. You can debate politics until the cows come home. If this thread turns into his football career, it would be a lot more enjoyable.
  6. Anyone out there have a problem with our quarterback yesterday?
  7. No one should complain after yesterdays effort. A great team win.
  8. Basically, no backup receivers, no backup halfback today so Peterman is the answer to everything, right?
  9. Can anyone tell me what Dennisons year by year record in Denver was and who the Quarterbacks were and why he was fired, if he was. Trying to figure if he made the offense successful or whether it was the talent
  10. Plenzmd1 your point about last year, McCoy was great "with the same exact line". Last year there were deep threats Watkins, Goodwin, and Woods. (Did I leave anyone else out?). Thus the safeties had to play far off the line to respect the deep threats. This year Mathews and Holmes are too slow to be deep threats and the rookie has not proven himself that he can can catch the long ball yet, so on a good defense the safeties are playing closer to the line where they can either blitz or stack the box. and not worry much about the long ball. What Dennison does Sunday against the Denver D-can he adapt or will it be more of the same play calling this week, will determine what year we have. Will he put 6 or 7 on the OL to help out the 5 blocking and thus give only a little pressure on Taylor and send 2 or 3 down the field. or will he have only 5 on the OL and send 3, 4 or even 5 downfield. Only problem is we only have 3 receivers and 2 kick returners posing as receivers. Of course there is Clay who has been having trouble catching the ball and has a bum knee, but why not involve O,Leary more. They do not use him enough. Is he that bad?
  11. The topic Taylor loathing should have been in the stadium wall. My bad.

  12. First of all, we can all agree that Tyrod Taylor is not Jim Kelly. Neither is any other QB not named Tom Brady. So is blaming Taylor for the past Two plus years; psychologizing blaming Taylor for the past Seventeen? It seems like the Taylor haters are out in force this year, weather in the media, social media, or various message boards, including this one. No one is going to be satisfied with our QB until we make the playoffs, because you know the old story. Win, the QB gets more credit than maybe he deserves, and lose get more blame than deserved. I would hate to think what the offense would be like if Taylor was not a mobile QB. Calling for Nathan Peterman at QB? Give me a break. Maybe one day he will be a good quality QB. But throwing him to the wolves after a good pre season against primarily backups, and opposing teams not game planning? I don't think so. What has Taylor had to deal with in 2017? 1. A new offensive system trying to get everyone on the same page. 2. A receiving core that is basically three receivers, none of who have been, or may never be a number one WR. As for the last play Sunday, our rookie may be a number one WR some day, but when he had two hands on the ball, he should have made the play, as difficult as it was. We will never know if any other WR would have made the catch either one or two handed but tell me Taylor haters, where does this group rate in the NFL? 3. A OL so bad, McCoy had his worse game from scrimmage ever with six or more carries. Zero yards before contact. What is to become of the run game if he can not stay healthy for 20-30 touches for Sixteen games, which is likely given his time so far in Buffalo. Does he even have a backup? With no run game against a good defense, our QB has to run for his life in the passing game. Of the five on the OL, one has a bad foot (maybe two now), another rather high draft choice has not worked out, and a third on the OL who keeps getting beat, because he does not seem good enough. Tyrod Taylor has a winning record here as a starter, despite having two defensive minded head coaches. Phil Simms is a fan and read what McCoy said today, so hopefully Sunday there will be cheering for our QB , and not booing, if the Offense does not move, or after a bad pass. After all, I believe even Tom Brady has even thrown a couple of interceptions.
