  1. I'm hoping you don't believe homosexuality is a choice because what you wrote would be a fantastic argument against that
  2. I don't have gender dysphoria so I don't pretend to know what that feels like, but I believe it's real. That doesn't mean I believe kids should transition while they're kids or take some of these drugs or surgeries that we don't know all the side effects or long-term effects of yet. For me though, I think there's a compromise that could exist if both sides don't overreach. For people that are Trans or have gender dysphoria, the idealogy doesn't need to be pushed onto others as long as their rights aren't infringed upon, and the other side doesn't need to tell those people what they should or shouldn't do. Actually accomplishing that is another story.
  3. Lot of Christian victim cards being pulled out here. Also, why is it that it's perfectly acceptable to indoctrinate your children into religion including those that teach that people that think and believe different than you will suffer in Hell for eternity? And that it's righteous for that to happen and for you to turn a cold shoulder to even the ones you love including family and friends if it happens to them? But it's wrong to indoctrinate your kids in to believing other ideologies such as sexual or gender? Personally I don't think we should be indoctrinating kids into either or any of that stuff, but I struggle to understand how people who believe one is fine and the other isn't at all hypocritical?
  4. That we will never win a Superbowl with McD as HC and will end up looking back on what could have been with #17. Hopefully we can still win one if we can McD someday.
  5. Yeah they were pretty arrogant about it that year. They took it more seriously in 2020 and won and I think they think that's their best shot this time around. I don't necessarily disagree from a purely strategic standpoint given that they don't have anyone else besides Biden in their minds, but that's from their warped mindset about having an establishment-happy president.
  6. Well my thought is that it's really hard to ultimately convict rich and powerful people and I don't really think they'll have enough to get there to make it a successful case. I think they know that and they don't care. They don't have anyone to run in this cycle against a popular non-Trump contender. There are a couple of liberal politicians I like but they're not pro-establishment which means they won't get the backing they need to be a real contender. But yes I do think this will help Trump beat DeSantis in the primary. I think he needed it to be honest.
  7. My ultimate feeling on this is that the Democrat Party wants Trump to win the GOP Primary because they believe they have a better shot at beating him again than they do DeSantis. The reason being they basically ran the last campaign on voting against Trump rather than anything for Biden, and it worked. Most people who don't really follow politics, and there are a lot of them, don't really even know who DeSantis is so that hate doesn't exist for him and Biden would probably get worked over in debates. I don't think they would be able to rally people to vote the way they did in the last election without that villain, even though DeSantis is actually more far right than Trump is and would probably be worse for them. For an Independent like myself, another Biden vs Trump scenario is pretty much lose-lose again, but I think that's what the Democrats have set up here. The strategy I think is actually kind of sound because there's a good chance Republicans decide to rally around Trump over this when things were starting to shift to DeSantis. On the other side, I actually do believe Trump wanted this as well. He needed something to stop the DeSantis momentum and this will probably do it.
  8. I actually have no idea who that person is, I just thought the song was funny.
  9. I don't think so. What liberals even come to Biden or Hillary's defense now? There may be a small faction, I don't think most do. It also depends on what exactly you mean by the "left". I believe most people on both sides are moderate with extremes on both sides that weaponize each other. I don't think most liberal citizens would go apeshit. If you're talking about the politicians and establishment on the left, sure.
  10. It is a problem on both sides. I don't think it really exists with the Bidens or the Clintons though. Most liberals don't even like them. I think Obama would spark some kind of reaction if they tried to go after him.
  11. This thread is the epitome of weaponizing the extreme of the other side...the same exact thing they complain about that happens to them. This is exactly what CNN/Fox/MSNBC and both parties want.
  12. I would have no issues with that. I wouldn't see Hillary as some sort of a martyr if that happens. Justice would prevail for both.
  13. I think what you don't seem to understand is most liberals won't care if Hillary, Biden and his entire family get indicted. They don't see these people as a God the way this MAGA cult sees Trump.
  14. Honestly, I don't know if this is such a bad thing whether it's Trump, Hillary, Biden - indict all of them for the shady things they've done. Politicians have gotten away with so much for so long on both sides.
  15. It's not all about gun rights though. I actually agree that regulations won't solve the problem. There's no one thing that will solve it, there's probably not any combination of things we can do to "solve" it anymore. But I don't understand why it's such an all-or-nothing thing with some people. Certain regulations could help keep guns out of SOME people's hands that shouldn't have them. The Conservative side keeps bringing up mental health, which I agree with, but they consistently vote down Universal Healthcare or any programs that would actually make mental healthcare accessible to all of the populations from which these shooters come from. Mental healthcare is expensive and is not covered by many health plans and it's routinely the people that need it most that don't have access to it. Also, we keep hearing about arming our schools but no Republicans are actually designing proposals on logistics or budget for a plan around that. I'm not against it, but it would be a very complex project that needs hard work, which none of them shouting about it have actually done. There are a ton of schools in our country, the first and biggest obstacle is where are you going to find that many quality people to do that work? And then it's coming up with competitive salaries when there's already a shortage of quality security people to go around. And if you can't find them, they'd have to start creating a trade school type approach and train people. There's probably even more that I haven't come up with. I'm not saying the Democrats are providing a solution. They aren't. I'm liberal but I don't like the Democratic party. I'm just pushing back on you on this because it seems like you are Republican. They are always talking about virtue signaling but their views and statements about school shootings are the epitome of what virtue signaling actually is.
  16. Good lord, Conservatives are so bad at comedy. That should have been easy money.
  17. Haha what is this lunatic talking about? What exactly are they bringing and who's scared? What "movement"? Democrats have won 3 out of the last 4 elections and just survived a supposed "red wave" that wasn't in the most recent midterms while a walking corpse on their side is literally in office. Trump likely won't even make it past DeSantis and if he does, he'll probably lose to the Corpse again. All this guy knows how to do is take L's.
  18. Haha well good God I would hope not, we haven't done anything
  19. We really should've kept Daboll and let McD go. They're putting this together very nicely.
  20. Unless the draft can land us a competent Head Coach, our biggest liability will still remain
  21. We need the gunners for when we kick it through the end zone with a lead and 13 seconds left
  22. Luck isn't enough to overcome having McDermott as coach unfortunately
  23. He also saw good coaches, which we don't have
  24. What does it matter if Frazier's gone if McD's still here? Also if people think Frazier's the big problem...whose fault is it that he's still here? I'll give McDermott credit for this...he's somehow managed to make himself infallible in the eyes of so many Bills fans to the points of inexplicable irrationality.
  25. But again...if playcalling isn't up to McDermott's standards, he has the option to make a change there. He never has. Whose fault is that ultimately? Frazier isn't going to fire himself. I don't see an angle in which this isn't McDermott's failure and responsibility.
