Dink and dunk kills clock and you better make sure your long time consuming drives end in touchdowns...there is such a small room for error in that offense

The west coast offense is made for pocket passer methodical robot qbs.....allen isn't a wco offense qb..might as well trade him if that's the box we force him into...it's not fair to allen to be handcuffed to an offensive system that basically neuters what makes allen truly elite

You hit the nail on the head!..we have a qb that is every bit as good as brady,mahomes,montana,elway,manning yet he isn't put into those conversations bc we have the wrong coaches to get him there!..but his elite abilities will overcome allot of the coaching downfalls and make it appear we are on the cusp of greatness and the coaches just need 1 more player...1 more year...no injuries etc etc....by the time you realize the horrible mistake we have made allen is past his prime and his superbowl chances go up in smoke how marinos did smh

The grind it out offense with Josh allen at qb is insanity....it forces the offense to be perfect and lots of time gets burnt off the clock just to come up empty...I'd rather an offense philosophy that entails having as many possible possessions for your rocket armed superstar qb

Meanwhile bill belichick is out there for the taking....Bill would win multiple superbowls with Josh allen

Don't you think this offense we now run is per the vision of our HC? Why do you think dabol and McDermott had a rift? Dabol laughed in mcd face when he would dial up 3 play 50 s drives for a TD.....our offense,defense,plays and everything from the top on down is MCDERMOTT’S process...do you trust it? The baby has been born and its an ugly mother#$#$@! And none of that is going to change until we get coaching who will change our defense first priority and understand in today's nfl the offenses get you that ring....unless you have a top 10 defense of all time the offense powerhouses are gonna win more times than not against the top defense teams...the game has changed and now gives the advantage to offense

Might as well trade allen if that's the box our coaches put him in...go get tua and run the two step drop and out offense

Brady had a hc who understood what system was the best for his skill set....no brady wouldn't have won running a read option offense and allen didn't win running a dink and dunk ball control conservative offense

It's how every post season loss plays out with McDermott.....it's insanity What's nonsense is taking allen and putting him into an offense philosophy catered to a brady,tua,burrow qb ...that's like having a brady,burrow or tua offense and making those players play in a read option rpo offense.....McDermott isn't the right coach for our qb....our offense has been slowed down per our hc wishes

It's the methodical ball control mcd offense...it's forces allen and the offense to be absolutely perfect or they end up wasting allot of time and come up empty...this offense approach effectively limits the possessions of its best player to keep the defense closers fresh to never close out a game

Yea brady while a good story can be upgraded. His style of offense seems more geared for a burrow,baker,tua pocket statues....

It's the type of offense our coach wants,it's obvious now what the problem was between dabol and mcd. McDermott wanted a "complimentary" offense that can string together long clock chewing drives...dabol just wanted every drive to lead to tds whether it 10 play 6 minutes drives or 2 play 30 second drives

Diggs has regressed big time this season....he is giving half effort and is not on his game and hasn't been since like week 8 or so

We sure could have used a 75% to 25% pass to run play selection in the 2nd half..kc cane out of the half with an obvious emphasis to stop the run and there was tons of intermediate opportunities for the taking and we never challenged those chances

He sure trusted that 25% chance kicker with the season and that's also very telling in another way....kc would have had 2 timeouts and 1:40 something on the clock....we would have lost when kc kicked a fg with 13s left ....the failure to learn from your mistakes seems to not apply for McDermott..that last drive was it!...it was the drive to eat every bit of clock and above all else score to win the game and never give the ball back to kc

McDermott wanted an offense to play perfect ball for 14 play drives and chew clock to limit his decimated defense exposure.......OK but to try to do so by running into a chiefs defense who obviously themed their halftime speech and adjustments on STOPPING the run was mind-boggling..even the passing played right into their strength by dialing up allot of short near the los quick passes......we never really challenged the intermediate...all runs,short passes or try to hit them on the homerun....mind boggling

After half with the lead and chiefs went right down and scored to open the 2nd half I feel our offense identity should have changed......we should have been shootout mentality and instead we continued to try to force "Complimentary " balanced football and kept running into 10 man fronts

Did you watch the game?..Dawkins was bullrushed by Chris jones back and into Allen's left side just as he was throwing the ball
