you over looked something... 1) Hilliard is a solid reciever and a definatly no less than the #2 WR on a team. 2) Reeds numbers are lower cus he was the #3 WR on the team, and was hurt ( i think). 3) hilliards numbers are way higher cus he was one of hte starting WRs for them. he will NOT be a #3 WR next season.

the fact they think we will trade spikes at all is a joke. T. Henry is worth a 2nd round pick by himself. but then to trade spikes (a top 3 OLB) for a CB (top 10 CB) is a freakin laugh. and i thaught only dolphin fans were so blind.

Clements, Campbell, Fletcher, Kelsay can stay. Milloy can stay if hes not asking for a 8 mil. salary. i never liked posey. and dont forget, if they are FA, we will have alot of money to sign new guys if we have to. IMO, Fletcher and clements HAVE to sign new contracts.

its getting starters who can make plays or fill gaps made by sucky players. draft picks rarely have a great impact there rookie year. so i say getting a few FA that fill needed holes. most teams sacrifice the future for a chance at a SB ring. drafting a lesser person to fill a needed gap will help get to the SB, but drafting the best guy on the board will help your team get to the SB in 2-3 years.

couldnt we trade for shelton and then sign wahle to play G. that would be great IMO.

in the past i have called edwards a BUM several times. but last year when he was in the game, he managed to get a few sacks. and he wasnt in for long. so i would say he is a better pass rusher than williams. but IMO, a DT's first obligation is to stop the run. and from what ive seen, edwards can not stop the run. (or atleast not nearly as good as williams). i like edwards comming in off the bench in passing situations, and to give williams a rest. our run D would decrease with the loss of williams.

their D is not good enouph to carry there O into the playoffs. our D is good enouph if the O just plays average football.

the label "african american" is better than the labels that used to be used. can you imagin what would happen if i walked up to a guy at work and said: "those coloreds are destroying this town." that sounds horrable. but if you say, "the lower income african american populace in the surounding area will stead the depreciation of the nearby buisness centers". that sounds so much better. but in the end even using educated language cant hid some people's racism. and the labels we use every day may not tell others your true beliefs. i use the terms that others tell me to, becuase i dont want to offend anyone. 100 years ago, the term "colored" was the appropriate term. now its "african american". thats fine with me. and in a few years when they change it to something else, ill use that terminology. and in the cases of real africans coming to america, they will have to accept the fact that the term "african american" means something diffrent to the people of america. didnt you see that real world where the guy from europe, or some small piss ant country over their :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: , came to america, went on the show, and started telling "racist " jokes in front of a "african american" cast member?? and couldnt see why she was PISSED!!!! also: what does native american mean?? indians (thats a bad name), or "redskins" (thats a bad name too, but we put that on professional sports teams ), or someone born in america???? terms change over time. and you have to look at the context and times they are used in.

there is a diffrence in the "accepted term" and the "technical term". you can say "african american" in both cases, but mean diffrent things.

i would take him as a backup QB. really i would. but if losman is hurt.... there is no way in hell Stewart will win a game for us. hes one of those backup QBs who is good for a few plays or finishing a game, but not start for 1 game, or 2 or 3.....

they havent mentioned draft picks yet. really all we have heard are rumors. im guessin we will get eather a mid round pick, or trade 2nd round picks. i really dout it will be a strait player for player trade. those are very rare in the NFL.

i didnt bash bledsoe, but i did feel that if JP was not injured he would have come in and performed ~ equal to what bledsoe did the last 6 games.
