  1. well ok, ill narrow it down a bit. a fan of a team. whoes team has a player. and that said player, confesses to cheating for basicaly his whole carrer. and that fan says... "thats all in the past. hes a great player, he can stay on my team and help win a championship." thats the fan i (hate is to strong of a word)... dislike.
  2. taking steroids is the same as paying the pitcher to throw you easy pitches. i dont care about his personality, or how he talks to the media.... he cheated. its not a, "simple mistake, and now lets move on" type of thing IMO. but baseball fans dont care. they dont. with all the talk, baseball fans dont care. if they really did care, Jason G. would not be playing baseball again. the yankees are so stupid as to leave out a steroid clause they are stuck with him, and are "backing him" cus they have nothing else to do. i understand they have to pay him, but MLB should step in and say, "you cheated. you confessed to cheating. you get atleast a 1 year suspention. you confessed to the fans, so it proves your guilty, but that doesnt earn our simpothy, cus you didnt even mention steroids in your appology, or even say what you are apologising for." i dont like the asterisk or whatever... your individual records should NOT count PERIOD. but fans dont care. they want to see home runs and there yankees to win. this is why i hate baseball and have a lower opinion of baseball fans.
  3. they just love the pats dont they....
  4. nono, we are going to trade M. Williams for Pace.
  5. ill say yes, but we wont make the playoffs BECAUSE of Losman.
  6. anyone know where i could find video of losman or evans in college??? i dout it, but i got to atleast ask.
  7. im a die hard bills fan. but even i dont think we can sweep the pats. if we win 1, we have a chance to take the division. but i dont think we can do that eather with a new young QB....
  8. so... if they kill themselves, can i grill them??? i know i cant cetch them, but if they are going to die anyways.....
  9. thats kinda !@#$ed up man..... on the other hand.... if it had happened to tom brady......
  10. not to sound like a total dick here, but..... what was his signing bonus for his new contract?? taking about 1/3rd of his value. if he cant play anymore... thats a sad thing.
  11. IMO, we have a team who can make the playoffs, if losman just plays average. if he plays poorly (ie. Eli Manning), we are screwed, just like the giants were. i do not expect him to play like Rolesburgerheklhrjel (sp?). he will make mistakes. thats the price we pay for a rookie QB. but if we resign Pat Williams, and if McGee can improve as a starting CB, than i feel we have a VERY GOOD defense. good enouph to make up for many of those mistakes.
  12. it will be McGee. hes a nickle corner who played ok when forced to start due to vincent's injury. on 3rd and 5, ill bet 60% of the time they will throw at McGee. completing most of those passes.
  13. i think the rams will be very interested. as long as they put him at MLB, he will play well.
  14. and i was one of those guys saying how dumb it was to let him go. www.nj.com Jets: Cowart wants trade; Abraham tagged Wednesday, February 16, 2005 BY DAVE HUTCHINSON Star-Ledger Staff Jets veteran middle linebacker Sam Cowart, who lost his starting job to rookie Jonathan Vilma after suffering a sprained left knee in Week 2, has asked the club to trade or release him, a team official said yesterday. And in another development, the Jets have officially notified the representatives for Pro Bowl defensive end John Abraham of their intention to place the franchise tag on him. Abraham will earn $6.66 million this season. Cowart, who just completed his seventh NFL season, has told the team he wants to go to a team where he'll have an opportunity to start. At 29, Cowart feels he still has a lot of football left in him and doesn't want to sit behind Vilma, who was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Cowart's agent, Paul Healy, would neither confirm nor deny his client wants out. "Any discussions between myself, Sam and the Jets are private," Healy told The Star-Ledger. "I spoke with the Jets last week but what was discussed is none of your business." Cowart, a former Pro Bowler with the Buffalo Bills, has three years left on his contract. He has a base salary of $1.5 million in 2005 with a $500,000 roster bonus due next month. His cap number is $2.9 million. He provides the Jets with quality depth and the flexibility to switch from a 4-3 to 3-4 alignment. After struggling in his first two seasons with the Jets while playing outside, Cowart returned to the middle last season and began the year strongly. In the opener against Cincinnati, he had a team-high 13 tackles and forced a fumble that was returned 41 yards for a touchdown by cornerback Donnie Abraham. The following week, he was injured in the second quarter against the Chargers and was sidelined six games. He finished the season with just 23 tackles in nine games, two starts. Abraham, who earned his third Pro Bowl berth last season, was officially designated the Jets' franchise player on Monday when his representatives received a letter from the club. The Jets have yet to make an announcement. "It wasn't a surprise," said agent Rich Rosa, who represents Abraham along with Tony Agnone. "John knew it was coming. At this point, we're going to move in the direction John wants us to and that's working toward a long-term agreement."
  15. damn, i didnt see the other post.... sorry. DELETE por favor... http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/3400460 making him on par with Ogen money wise... The deal spans seven years and includes a signing bonus that exceeds $15 million and includes additional roster bonuses over the first three years. The total package averages more than $7 million per season,
  16. any good amout of rain causes mine to cut out for a min or 2. every once and a while, does your reciever not let you go above channel 150? i have to unplug the whole thing, and plug it back in, so it searches for a signal befor it will let me go above 150. im just to lazy to call and ask why this happens. i have 2 other tvs with 2 other recievers, and they dont do this.
  17. agreed. with rudi getting taged, that only increases his trade value.
  18. thats so true, its freakin crazy. lol, i know so many people that said that same thing...
  19. Price has 90+ receptions as the #2 WR. on paper he looked to be a great #1 with his home run speed. to bad he cant get open in double coverage.. i think they just want to trade him. but who will give up a 1st for him??? especially considering the RBs in the draft. but this definatly helps henrys trade value.
  20. Bengals | R. Johnson Franchised - from www.KFFL.com Tue, 15 Feb 2005 11:31:53 -0800 Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports the Cincinnati Bengals have placed their "franchise" tag on RB Rudi Johnson, who was slated to be an unrestricted free agent March 2. The tag carries a $6.3 million value for the 2005 season. As previously reported, Johnson has said he would be willing to sit out the 2005 season if he were tagged as the team's franchise player. does anyone think R. Johnson is a top 5 RB??? hes good, and young, but not 6.3 million dollars per year good.
  21. good numbers. I agree Jennins will want to much. (more than hes worth). so we got the money, we should spend it on a great player. T. Thomas, Pace, Jones.... or even trade for the Cardinal's OT. we could use a stud OG also. but their arnt that many in FA this year. as far as WR, Reed is not that bad, and aiken is comming on. (i think aiken will take the #3 spot by week 4). draft: 2nd) Kicker 3rd) CB 4th) RB 5th) FB 6th) OL 7th) DL
  22. http://www.theredzone.org/2005/freeagents/...asp?Position=OT it says hes a UFA. hes good. and i would be very happy to get him.
  23. i would rather have garcia. and thats saying something...
  24. he should. hes a very good runner, but the bengals arnt as bad as they used to be. remember how many yards he got agenst us??? hes good. they do have very good OTs, which might help. (maybe not "franchise" good), but still good. that said, no team will trade a 1st rounder AND pay him franchise money.
