His peak was 1991 where he threw for 3844 yards, 33 touchdowns and 17 ints in 15 games. Thats 256 yards a game, 2.2 touchdown passes and 1.1 interceptions or a +1.1. For comparison over the last three years on average Josh is 254 yards a game 1.89 touchdown passes and .78 interceptions. Mahomes is 271, 1.9 and .78. Peak Kelly is very comparable to current day Joe Burrow. Easily a top 5-6 quarterback in the league. Kelly did his legacy a great disservice by not starting in the NFL until 1986. Not to mention he was a 23-year-old rookie in the USFL. If he played for the Bills for his entire career, he would likely be in the top 15 in both yards and touchdown passes all time. Allen is likely the best quarterback to ever play here but Kelly is an absolute all time great.

Well to be fair he didn't start to speak out until his snaps were reduced and it was obvious he wasn't going to be back. He wasn't exactly Mr. Team or the image of emotional maturity.

McKenzie signed his own death warrant by being Tyler Dunnes eyes and ears in the Bills locker room.

The second episode is almost all about an ayahuasca retreat. A retreat where they all play hand drums, dance with one another, and retreat to their inner soul. Rodgers goes into a deep thought about how a catapillar never actually becomes a butterfly but is always just a catapillar that can suddenly fly and eat flowers. Jordan Poyer is there dancing like a fool and if you look closely I think you'll see our very own Von Miller. I don't think he is a bad guy by any means. I think he is fairly self obsessed however. I think he has a lot of time to think about Aaron Rodgers. I find people like him tend to act altruistic when in actuality almost everything they do is about themselves. They just dress it up with nonsense. Pretty boring show overall. Guy is going to be a life long bachelor who moves near the ocean, reads whatever self help is trendy that year and beds a lot of hot young hippie chicks by talking the catepillar nonsense.

Oh boy. You guys are gonna love this.

Worst President of my lifetime elected because people were in their feelings. Perfect evidence of why you never make life decisions using your emotions.

Going to put this on today while I work. I will say I've been a fan of the guy in the past. I think I am going to come away feeling bad for the guy because I think a great deal of what he seems to be looking for stems from the breakdown of his family.

Yeah, Steven in Florida. You got it for sure. I dont listen in the offseason so I cant tell you if it happens then. But no lie, its everyday of the week. He calls the morning show, then he calls Sal and says the same exact thing. You can tell he thinks a hell of a lot of his opinion as well. Type of a guy who can clear a room in about ten minutes. -

I am an avid listener. Most of my meetings are late afternoon to early evening, as such I am able to listen to the earlier shows while I work. I listen to some of the post games as well. There is a caller named Stephen who may be one of the most irritating humans I've ever heard call into these shows. He calls every day. Not only does he call every day, but he calls each show every day. He literally says the same thing almost verbatim to each host, two to three times a day. It's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. Last night my wife and kids fell asleep early, so I listened to the early and late post-game shows while I took care of some housework. The dude called in and said the same thing on different shows maybe a half hour apart. -
Josh is having the best season of any Bills player ever. He is well on his way to being the best Bill of all time. Right now its still Bruce. That said, an MVP and a Championship should pretty much seal it for Josh.

If you have your starting safeties in the game, you probably play less. I am sure the coaching staff was extremely worried about Bishop and Lewis.

A few things on this: 225 of those yards went to backs and tight ends. The Bills were giving the Lions the underneath routes to attempt and not get beat over the top. This works extremely well to the Lions advantage when the Bills pass rush doesnt get home. The Lions were down the entire game. 494 yards isn't exactly earth shattering when you throw the ball 59 times. The Bills held two backs who are on pace for 1,000 yards a piece to 2.8 yards a carry. The Bills are absolutely beat to hell on defense. Down to their 5th safety. So beat up at OLB they had to have an injured player come back into a game (kudos to you Dorian Williams, a lot of heart there). Down to their backup cornerback etc. The Bills had plenty of defense until the end of the 3rd quarter of the game. The Lions are good, get over it. I have no clue why posters on this board would rather focus on the negative parts of a win, rather than the things the Bills actually did well. Like I said yesterday, I think many of you think its still 1995 NFL. This is the game the NFL wants. Offensive holding was called at a minimum. There were 3 quarterback sacks on 93 pass drop backs yesterday. Think about how insane that is.

He is out there because McDermott is a loyal coach, which I dont hate. The only thing Milano is doing even remotely well is helping the pass rush. He isnt dropping into coverage well and is a major liability in the run game. It was embarrassing to watch him shoot the wrong gap yesterday. To your point, he cant shed well because the arm is holding him back. But, the hardest part for me to watch is seeing his play speed and diagnosis leaving him. He is late consistently. The diagnosis can return. If the play speed is physical and not mental, it will be the thing that gets his contract tore up in the offseason.

McDermott deserves praise for JA’s career year

In 2017 McDermott drafted the players. Since then its been up to Beane to make the choices, but if you think Mcdermott and his scheme doesnt have huge insight into who the Bills are bringing into their locker-room you're insane. -

Again. Who hired Kromer? I am not sure people understand what an NFL head coach does. -

I agree with you 100%. I have to imagine the people harping on McDermott have never coached football before. To coach defensive football, you need to know a thing or two about offensive football. -

Oddly enough I think his journey to the NFL actually helped him become exactly what you're talking about. Had he gone to the biggest high school, and followed it up with a legit college program, the things he does week in and week out would have coached out of him to death. To watch a Quarterback take the snap, stand in the pocket, go through his reads, drift right, drift further right, drift even further until his feet are almost out of bounds, and then throw an absolute rope without resetting his feet is against everything logical. Kudos to the Bills organization for just letting him be Josh.- 697 replies
