Look at the guys we are meeting. It’s round 1 DB and round 2 DT

The main trait I look for when studying corners is do they get their head turned around when the ball is in the air? Elam was terrible at that in college and it continued into the NFL. Revel has shown a bit of that as well so I’m mildly concerned here with him

So much smoke around DB in round 1 for us I have it written in pencil and almost pen atm
-
He was asked to play FS when he was healthy when he’s a SS so we need to cut him some slack. I don’t think the FO expected Rapp to play as well as he did and earn the starting spot. Even his contract last year told you he was being paid as a fringe starter .

With the 73rd pick in the 2025 NFL draft , the New York Jets are proud to select from Ohio State, Quinshon Judkins, RB. With Breece Hall entering the final year of his contract and the decision to not allocate financial resources to the RB position as we have needs of elsewhere, this was a slam dunk easy decision in round 3. In any other year Judkins could have easily been the 2nd RB off the board and we have him graded as an early 2nd round selection. Judkins brings toughness and 3 down ability and we were happy to continue to select players based on BPA strategy. With Judkins and B Allen , along with Fields at QB and our round 1 selection of Membou, we are forming a ground and pound bullying up front at the line of scrimmage team identity. This concludes the Jets draft and we are thrilled at how this played out for us. @QLBillsFanIs now OTC

He was probably cut for wearing a WR number as a cornerback

I’ve said this going back the past two seasons . He’s an average to above average starting RB who is propped up by Josh and the oline.

TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #62?
DJB replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im taking Judkins. 3 down back with upside and he’s the clear best player on the board. If we are going to replace Cook this is the RB draft to do it as it’s talented and had depth. Any other year and Judkins is a top of the 2nd type prospect -
TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #56 ? (closes 2pm EDT)

We took the better player here which was good . -
He is definitely one of the best pass blocking RB’s in the draft . He has an immediate path to being a 3rd down and hurry up 2 min offense guy . But I think he’s better than that. He can definitely thrive in a 15- 20 touch type player . Hes a 3 down guy but has had some injuries so snap management is going to be important for him. Hes so explosive and fun to watch no doubt my favourite RB in the class (not to be confused with best that’s Jeanty )

Worse it’s Doug Whaley

I’ve had Harmon over Grant as well for months. I think Grant is a good player , but he’s definitely more 1T with limited pass rushing upside . Harmon is a menace. He’s everywhere and creates havoc consistently. He does need to wrap up and tackle a little better to finish but man he’s disruptive. I was studying offensive players and Harmon was popping on screen playing against him lol I’ll be thrilled with one of Harmon, Grant or Nolen round 1 .

With the 42nd pick in the NFL draft the J E T S, JETS JETS JETS select; Colston Loveland Michigan The Jets are thrilled that Loveland is still available at pick 42 believing that he is a 1st round talent and best TE in the class . While pass rusher was also considered as it is a big need we felt that adding a quarterbacks best friend in TE Loveland will help develop our young QB in Justin Fields or potentially his future replacement down the line . G Wilson also gets a running mate to cause havoc and focus on the middle of the field to open things up on the perimeter for him. The Jets TE’s in 2024 were amongst the worst both in pass catching and run blocking. Loveland at least addresses one of those concerns. Owner Woody Johnson is ecstatic . @H2o now OTC

How far up in the 1st round could we move up with one of our 2nds?
DJB replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think we move up in the first I think we stand pat. I think we use those middle to late extra picks to move up in round 2 or move up into round 3. Quality > quantity always -
TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)
DJB replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope you are correct but with CB a glaring need and with the depth at DT and the lack of depth at corner, I suspect we pass on the better talent and go DB round 1 with DT taken in round 2 I hope I’m wrong though as passing on elite talent is misguided . This team outside of Josh lacks elite talent . Get the best player period -

I wish we would have offered them a 4th. Pointless trade by the Patriots unless he and May hated each other. Trading a young , talented quarterback with potential for a late pick is dumb

TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)

Get after the QB with a DT and we could bring back Leodis Mckelvin to play corner. If you can’t pressure the QB it doesn’t matter if we have Champ Bailey back there . It won’t matter We need a dominant DT it’s far more important -

I’ve said for weeks I want nothing to do with Bond and this was before we were hearing the head case stuff I’ll be very disappointed if we take him in round 2. Round 4? Sure
