Yup and why I was annoyed he drafted Ray in a weak RB class full well knowing this year is stacked. We can’t sign all of Benford, Bernard, Groot, Cook. One or two have to go and Cook is the least valuable of the bunch. Draft an RB replacement and move on. Investing in RB’s doesn’t make cap space sense

Beane really needs to start hitting on those early picks. It’s been his drafting downfall. If we trade the picks for an impact player like Crosby or Garrett I’d be ecstatic. If not he needs to pick a stud DL with that first .

This was a waste of my time opening this thread. I actually know less about the Bills picks now before I opened the thread.

The NFL is constantly evolving. Our 2 deep safety look while playing zone worked for a while. And teams moved to a more zone look Now offense basically just dump the ball out as fast as possible which severely negates a zone defense. Man coverage is less susceptible to quick throws . Im glad we are moving to a more man coverage it also helps with double coverage looks as well which will help focus our D in on key players on the opposing teams . It also helps stopping so many “why the hell is Kelce so uncovered” moments where we were all pulling our hair out. You know what else a zone defense is susceptible to? Screens. Playing man will help alleviate that as well and I’m glad because I’m really tired of getting killed like that

My number 1 need is DT for round 1. We can’t keep getting gashed in the run game and little to no pocket push from the middle . Having a top end DT also does wonders for our LB If we go DT I will say there is very little chance we go DE round 2. Beane has blown too much draft capital in round 2 and 3 on middling d line guys . I think round 2 is slated to be a corner . I do think we need to add a WR but Bond is not the guy I want. Hes 165 pounds and even before I knew that I wasn’t a fan . This is a terrible year for the WR class . Plus we just drafted Keon, he’s going to gf another shot to be the guy next year again. If he doesnt work out then back to WR in 2026.

After spending high picks on Coleman and Kincaid , combined with a brutal WR class I’d be shocked if we spend any high draft capital on WR. I’m hoping it’s a game wrecking DT. But we do have needs at DE, S and CB

I think Groot is fine as a #2 edge guy. But we do need a game changer opposite of him. I’ve been asking for 5 years for a legit big man 1 tech who can stop the run and be disruptive. Can we finally address that? Hamlin is a backup and needs to be replaced and yes we need another corner or two opposite Benford . Those are my needs for this D
