Coleman sucks. Can’t separate and has poor speed. He also has terrible contested catch % numbers. New age WR’s need to be able to create separation with quickness , suddenness at the line and also threaten with deep speed.

Not sure why all the surprise around Thomas. Hes a near lock for a top 20 selection and he’s going to test really well at the combine. Hes my clear #4 WR and has Alpha 1 traits and hands

But he’s the MVP 🙄

The good news is that this WR class is stacked and there will be a very good prospect when we are on the board My worry is that we pass on WR round 1 because Beane thinks the depth is great and we take him in round 2. We need an impact guy even if it’s a slight reach based on BPA when we are on the clock.

All I’ve been reading every off season are predictions that Morse will be cut for the past 3 years but he hasn’t been. Its not happening he’s one of the most important pieces to our OL and we would have a glaring hole at C

Coleman is Gabe 2.0. Tall physical WR but has poor speed, and struggles to separate. And for a guy who is pretty big he had abysmal contested catch #’s Ive been pounding the table for the last 6 months that we can’t draft Coleman. I want nothing to do with him

The realistic WR’s we could have without significantly trading up would be Troy Franklin or Brian Thomas. MHJ, Nabers and Odunze will be long gone and I want nothing with Coleman he’s a Gabe Davis clone

I actually think we should go with a single high safety and bring Poyer down in the box. We shouldn’t be afraid of the Chiefs WR’s. Dropping Poyer down in the box will really limit their run game which I think they will lean on. Plus having Poyer down there he can spy the Mahomes running and we can double Kelce. Most importantly is we need to double Kelce with Poyer and Taron. Poyer to me would be the most important player on the D for us in this situation. There is really no reason to play two safety high and double their WR’s. We can cover them with our corners. Hyde can be the deep safety just in case . Watching the KC offense they run the ball and throw is short to medium length to Kelce etc. That would be my gameplan
