  1. 2006: Andre Johnson: 103 receptions, 1147 yds, 5 TD's: David Carr his QB. Lead NFL in receptions.
  2. No, I dont have a solution. Nor do you. I dont want to just sit there and take it and you dont also, but the fact remains..... we dont have any choice. I'm just sayin, stop complaining unless you have something better in mind and, unfortunately, you dont and neither do I. Dont watch the game if you have better things to do. No one is forcing you, but accept what we are: A team without a complete QB, OL and Defense and it is going to be a long season for all of us. I'm just tired of all the Edwards bashers out there that complain without a solution. He is all we have at this point. +1
  3. Edwards sucked..... Edwards sucks........ blah, blah blah........whatever. We have no other option! So get over it!!!!! He's not the worst we've had, he's not the best. Regardless, he is all we have. We have no one else behind him better than.......... well.....him! So, suck it up NANCY and try and enjoy the season. If you have a better idea/option.... post it here! Other than that.......... go back home, drink some milk from a bottle, change your diper and cry in your own post!
  4. That's right. I forgot we have an Aaron Rodgers and Ben Roehtlesberger on the bench chomping at the bit to replace Edwards and take us to the playoffs. Wow! Where is my head?????? Forget that I said we need an O-line AND QB before we can be effective.
  5. So, you're saying the Bills suck? Or are you saying the Bills don't suck? Or are you saying neither? What the hell are you saying? Thanks for your specific point of view making it clear for all of us. Appreciate the thread.
  6. If TE sits on the bench, who do we start? We don't have a Peyton Manning or Drew Brees on the bench to replace him. C'mon! Unfortunately, he is all we have a this point. Listen, you and everyone else need to understand that we are going to BLOW this year until we fix the O-line and get a QB in here to play football. Suck it up Sister!
  7. I told ya!!!! I told ya all!!!! This guys is a Motivator but not a head coach. Stupid decisions when it comes to TO's. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/117193-a-sign-of-coaching-yet-to-come/page__p__1931589__fromsearch__1#entry1931589
  8. Perhaps you're right, but I respectfully disagree. I think the kid brings a "moxie" to a position that clearly lacks a moxie on our team. I like a leader who is pi$$ed about not being awarded a starting job when he clearly has earned it.
  9. I would love to have Leinart! Not that he's going to be the next Tom Brady, but he would bring a much needed "attitude" to an already woe-full QB squad. His winning attitude reminds me of a young Jim Kelly that refused to play for a loosing organization that had no promise of moving forward at the time. We all know he has the skills to be an NFL QB, but if he get the opportunity to compete fairly, he probably will be very good. I mean, c'mon, he was second string to a future HOF in AZ, and has certainly outplayed Anderson this preseason. He is getting the shaft in AZ and, clearly, is better than any out our current QB's.
  10. Dear Commissioner: I recently heard the city of Buffalo has a NFL team. Do you confirm or deny this? Sincerely, The entire sports media
  11. I agree. And I can't stand the "It's just preseason" argument. It's preseason for Washington too. If the preseason is only about evaluating talent, then Washington's talent that's being evaluated beat the HELL out of Buffalo's talent that is being evaluated. Plain and simple. Plus, Washington was a worst team than the Bills last year. What that tells me is that Buffalo cannot attract the better talent (players & coaches) and it's going to be another long painful year....... again. Don't mean to be all "glass is half empty" but the facts remain......Buffalo didn't get Shanahan or McNabb..... we got Chain Gailey (who btw, blew the 4 & inches call IMO).
  12. I like Bryan Scott and thought he stepped-in well for injured players the past few years, but last night, I saw him wiff on 2 or 3 makeable tackles. He also looked slow and heavy and couldn't cover anyone out of the backfield. He was out of position on most plays and looked lost on the others. What do you take from his play last night?
  13. .....and burning your last time-out with 7 minutes left in the half down by 2 scores trying to draw the defense offsides. dumb!
  14. Yeah..... my "warm & fuzzy" feeling is pretty much gone now......... which usually happens around this time each year.
  15. Oh, but it does! This was is "debut" and he dropped the ball. As I said before, as he was evaluating his players, we were evaluating him. If you think this was just a pre-season game, you are sadly mistaken. This was his chance to set his tone. He failed. He looked like a chump making a desperate call when there was no need to. He needed to show us more "steel" than what he showed. Basically, he looked like a scared little school-girl (no offense Ladies) in his first outing as a head coach for the Buffalo Bills. Again, I hope this is not what he is about or we are in for a long season of frustration and heartach.
  16. C'mon! Do you really think his "Public-opinion" rating starts in the regular season? Hell no! It started the day he signed on. He has to realize that and to make a bone-head decision like that doesn't set well with me, nor should it with any Bills fan that has endured the last 10 years of bone-headed decisions. I mean, does he realize what the Bills have done the last 10 years? Has he read a book? Does he watch TV? Open a news paper? I mean c'mon! You can't do that here and expect to survive in Buffalo. Get a clue Chan! I know it's just preaseason, but it's your preseason to us also!!!! WAKE UP!
  17. But they didn't go for it. They didn't instill an aggressive attitude. All they said was that they didn't trust their defense enough, so they had to "gamble" and they didn't trust their offense to make an "inches" play. They tried to "trick" their way into a first down in a terrible situation. It was a dumb call regardless of how they try and spin it. He "over-coached" himself and that is all it is. You don't burn your last TO in a situation like that. That is BUSCH!
  18. Although I agree that the offense had not had enough time to be evaluated, I'm not sure that Chan was sending out the right message to the players and fans by trying to get the offense back on the field at that point. He has to realize that his players are not the only people being evaluated, but he is as well. His play calling will determine what happens in the game and how the fans respond to him as a coach. And to make a "Bone-headed" call like that in the first preseason game as a Buffalo Bills head coach is just plain STUPID! If he doesn't know any better, he obviously shouldn't be a head coach in the NFL. Again, he need to check his ego...
  19. Seriously? Did you watch the game? He didn't take a 5 yard penalty. They burned their last time-out. Look it up! As far as working a 4th. and short situation, I agree. But not in that situation. Never in that situation! Not in regular season and not in preseason. What are you teaching? Stupid decisions are ok? Perfect practice makes perfect! Chan needs to check himself and realize he's a coach, not a savior! Coach football Chan. Just coach football!
  20. I totally disagree. I did not like not challenging the TD. Certainly not a touchdown and you never know what the next play may bring. As far as a QB sneak? Not at your own 37 with 7 minutes left in the half. No way! NEVER! Kick, kick and kick again in that situation! Don't burn your last TO at that point. Dumb/stupid decision and I HOPE this year is not coached like that! If so, get ready people....... we are in for a long......long.....long year!
