  1. We started getting good when Maybin wasn't dressed. That's the pattern!
  2. And only 4 #1 overalls have been QB's. Throw in Peyton Manning, and that makes 5. FIVE! Out of 89!
  3. Look at it this way: Take Fitz out of that game and put in Trent. Same line, same game plan, same defensive looks. Do we win that game? No. It all starts with the QB. Your team is only as good as your QB. Having one great LT or DB or DE will not win a game for you, but having one great QB may win multiple games for you. Name one OL on the Colts or Pats that was an elite player in the past 10 years. Hard to do. Now, name their QB's. There is a reason those teams win. The play of the QB. Same goes for the Fitz/Luck threads on TBD. If you have a chance to draft a potential franchise QB......YOU DO IT!
  4. This post is all wrong. Only one coach of last year is still on the payroll and EVERYTHING was scrapped! It's a completly different team offensively and defensively. Completly different schemes. Only the players are the same. I have no idea what your post is about!
  5. What Ralph doesn't understand is that he would make more money OVERALL if he put a winning product on the field. End of discussion!
  6. I believe it was when they were talking about Gailey and Hayley. They said something like: 'They respect each other but their offensive diferences were just too great. So Gailey got fired. Kinda like a church splitting into two different demoninations, one's gotta go.' It was something to that nature.
  7. Agreed about Fitz, but I am confused on the 4 first round draft picks we have had in the last 12 years on qb's. Losman, Bledsoe and Johnson. Who is the 4th? Just havin a brain-fart I guess. I just really cant think of it. Also, Edwards was a 3rd.
  8. Finally down to the NFL's Top 10 players of all time. Not sure of the order, but here is a list on names not yet in the Top 100: Shoe-in: Jerry Rice Walter Payton Payton Manning Reggie White Lawrence Taylor Joe Montana Johnny Unitas Jim Brown Questionable: George Blanda Howie Long Carl Eller Franco Harris Terrell Owens Marvin Harrison I really dont think T.O or Harrison will be in the Top 10, but they both should have been in the Top 100. Also, really upset that Aikman and Irvin made it but Kelly and Reed did not. Reed certianly was a better reciever than Irvin (except post-season) and Aikman's numbers are nowhere near that of Kelly's. If SB wins count, take out Barry Sanders and put in Big Ben. jk. Any other suggestions for the Top 10? What is your predection in order.
  9. Really???? They almost lost to........us! Aparently their plan is working!
  10. Then......not "Than." But I do agree with you. I think he's a scumbag too. To bad. He could have been a certain HoF'er.
  11. We are the Bills! Deep inside of us, there lies an emotion, Not a disease, no magical potion. A living feeling, its real… its true, A love for a team that dons Red, White and Blue. We sense this feeling, we understand We know what we are…..were Die-Hard Bills fans. Weve seen players come, weve watched coaches go, But one thing is constant…… this we know. We live for this team, we feel it breathe, Weve been Bills fans since we started to teethe. We will not change, certainly not switch, Our circled wagons that will NEVER unhitch. Hand in hand we cheer, our voices one, From the opening kick-off, long after the gun. We stand together as sisters and brothers, A Buffalo Bills family, united in colors. Soggyhog, 2010
  12. What concerns me the most about the Maybin photo is not his stance. If you look at what happened, you can see it is not just Maybin. He was the first d-lineman off the snap and was in his second stride before the OT was out of his stance. (3-15-NE 20 (9:52) (Shotgun) 12-T.Brady pass short middle to 19-B.Tate to NE 34 for 14 yards (29-D.Florence). FUMBLES (29-D.Florence), RECOVERED by BUF-31-J.Byrd at NE 37. 31-J.Byrd to NE 37 for no gain (81-R.Moss). http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2010092603/2010/REG3/bills@patriots#tab:watch Watch Whitner. He is totally lost on the play. Florence cant cover a TE if his life depends on it. Maybin actually didn't look too bad on the play. I agree with the OP, fast but weak.
  13. I don't know if I'm an alcoholic because I'm a Bills fan, or I'm a Bills fan because I'm an alocholic.
  14. Just take the entire OL out so we dont risk injury. They aint doing ++++ anyway!
  15. They rush 3 and we still have not time to set up plays. dump off for 2 yds. GREAT!
