I find it hard to believe Hollins is gonna be more than a ST player. Would think him and Shavers fighting for the same spot. When they signed him I immediately thought of Sherfield and Harty. Might look good in camp, have some leverage over younger players but will be a mistake if he’s on the roster taking time from a player who actually shows potential

Tom Brady has relied on his D to make stops at the end of games a fair amount over the years. Early in his career it was more about them making a stop in the final minutes and him rushing them up the field as fast as possible, then him bleeding out the clock. Bellichick had a D that could be relied upon in crucial moments, McD doesn’t. That’s the problem in Buffalo

Josh has his faults, but at the end in close games he’s usually pretty money. Then other aspects come into play, like missing a FG or McDs ***** D not being able to stop McCorkle in under 2 minutes. Or Mahomes in 13 seconds 😂. How many games did we lose last year when the O put us ahead and then the D fall apart? How many times were we down a score and our D not be able to get them the ball back? The problem with this team is that our defensive minded coach isn’t getting the job done in crucial times.

The hard truth is that you and many others give way ro much credit to the QB when it comes to winning football games. A lot of time you forget that there is an offense, defense, ST and coaching staff that all contribute.

There isn’t a player in football asked to do more for his team than Josh. In my opinion he’s underrated not overrated. The reason I say he’s underrated is because everyone has Mahommes at the top because of the Championships. Andy Reid has elevated pretty much any QB that played for him. McNabb, Vick, Garcia, Smith. Mahommes is really good but would he be the player he is if he wasn’t drafted to the situation? I’m not sure. I do believe if Allen was put in the same situation as him, he’d be better. Jmo
