  1. If Von can get back on track, a NASCAR pass rush with Von, Oliver, Carter, Solomon could be filthy.
  2. What does this mean? Did anyone press him on this mystery man?
  3. TBD on a lot of these picks, although I do think it was a very strong Draft. That said… I love the picks we made that could be viewed as steals. -Coleman is a guy who could be very meh or become a legit WR1. I’m coming around on him. Love: Van Pran & Solomon Van Pran could legitimately move McGovern back to Guard and for a team that plays a heavy DL rotation, it’s about time we had a designated pass rusher.
  4. Why didn’t we just take the full Josh Allen restructure? We’re in good cap shape with the Diggs trade. They knew this was a possibility when they pulled the JA lever. What was the point of not taking it all and purposefully being in this position now…
  5. Can we stop this …. I beg of you. Mahomes has Reid calling plays, the best interior OL in the NFL (plus generous OL officiating in the Playoffs) and Travis Kelce. Also had a Top Tier Defense last year. Also… It’s not for lack of trying. They’ve gone back to back to back premium WR draft picks. They traded for a former 1. They signed MVS and Juju. They now signed Marquise Brown. They actually TRY.
  6. He’s talking about NE… who also had Gronk. So.. if Kincaid becomes generational, sure, we can have this discussion.
  7. There’s no way any GM worth their salt takes a RB2 in RD4 over WR help because “other needs took precedent”. He can say whatever he wants. id be SHOCKED if we don’t sign a FA or trade for a player at some point. Even if he likes what Shorter and Shavers are showing them behind the scenes, it would be absurd to not draft another WR for competition at WR5 or WR6 given the fact both of them have shown zero in an actual game yet. We seemed to be actively avoiding WR… RB2 in RD4. LB6 in RD5. Come on…
  8. Y’all are way too down on this roster… (I say this under the belief we add/trade for another legit WR) Elite QB Good OL Good RB’s Good TE’s (TBD) WR Room Strong DT Rotation Von-Dependent DE Rotation Good LB’s Good CB’s Solid Vet Safeties + Bishop
  9. Not sure what the path is for him with our Starting Five + Collins, Van Pran, Van Demark and Anderson.
  10. Take a couple corners and call it a day. Im almost 100% convinced we’re trading for a WR or signing a FA WR at some point, so anyone we draft is competing with Shorter/Hamler etc at WR6.
  11. This team is one quality WR and quality DE away from me thinking we got better from last season (while getting younger and building up cap space & draft picks in ‘25). Feels like we can/will definitely do one of those things when the post 6/1 money frees up. Can they do both? Or maybe Solomon truly is a Bryce Huff player and Toohill/Jonathan battle it out for DE4, while Solomon is DE5/Designated Pass Rusher.
  12. Intrigued by him as DE5 who’s Gameday Active if he can prove his pass rush ability translates to the NFL. Just rotate him in on passing downs.
  13. Know nothing about Solomon except for draft guys loved him as a Day 3 EDGE
  14. This off-season/draft (so far) is a home run if we still had Diggs in his prime. Im not saying we need Diggs in his prime, but we’re clearly missing one more bigger investment at WR. I somewhat expect us to use the post 6/1 money on another mercenary pass rusher, which if we take a depth corner at some point today, rounds out a really strong roster. But, as you point out, there’s a gaping hole in our WR room. I don’t think we need an Aiyuk, but we need something better than Mack Hollins at WR4.
  15. Why would he want more picks then?
  16. Lol.. what is going on right now on my tv
  17. What a weird draft. Not bad.. just weird. Everything we’re doing makes complete sense. We’ve added 3 potential starters at WR, S and C, along with a rotational DT and RB. Just very business like. Nothing aggressive. No real gambles. Not much boom or bust.. just good players at positions of need, yet nothing that really moves the needle when it comes to Josh trying to slay Mahomes, while fighting off other teams like HOU, NYJ and BAL.
  18. Interesting point made that he’s a Center only. Could be why he’s still available, but would also indicate we took him thinking he can start at C. Similar vibe to Torrence last year.
  19. ESPN guys cheerlead every pick usually, but they’ve been really high on the Bills picks and just waxed poetic about Van Pran. Lots of chatter that he could start this year.
  20. I like it. He’ll make the roster and gives us a true Center as depth.
  21. Yea… a fumble and a massive drop, while taking yourself out every other play certainly means Allen should’ve forced him the ball.
  22. Mack Hollins is our WR4 Weve got people asking “what happens if Cook gets hurt” when we just had Allen throwing to IDGAF Diggs and JAG Sherfield in the Playoffs.
  23. ESPN guys love Ray Davis, fwiw Emphasized his pass catching ability, which is likely a big focus for our offense when it comes to RB’s.
  24. This is the most “meh, ok” draft I can remember in a while. I get what they’re doing. Every pick makes sense. It’s just plugging holes with good players. Good players haven’t been the issue. Was probably a dream to think they would find a way to get better this off-season. Very stagnant roster construction so far, while the Jets (by default), Chiefs, Ravens and Texans all got better.
  25. Hopefully we play the Florida Gators this year.
