Actually, we do. At best, he is not ready to play in the NFL and at worst he's no better than the TC fodder he played against in the preseason. He is nowhere near the supposedly "pro ready" QB that his fanboys claimed he was. He's not nearly as good a backup as Jeff Tuel was in 2013, so he's not even ready to be an NFL backup QB.
so one half of football, admittedly, an all time terrible half of football, means that Peterman is a back up or worse caliber QB? is that what your saying? youve seen all he can do, in one fricken half of football? plz tell me thats not what youre saying.

gotta hold the pats to field goals in the first half, and keep it close, they get any kinda 10+ point lead, well, i have serious doubts that this offense can make that up.
Brady will pick our LBs apart in coverage, its a foregone conclusion. just gotta keep them outta the endzone as much as possible and hope Tyrod moves the chains consistently......lot to hope for there.
i expect the pats to run a screen play that gashes us at the most inopportune time. i also expect lots of rub routes. cuz well, the Pats have been doing these things to us for 10+ years and we have shown the inability to stop them.

Nope, remember, Brady likes them that way, they need to be over inflated!
thought mbe we could try the deflated balls, mbe thats what our QB needs.

It's all about draft picks.....right?
when its the best daft for QBs in a decade, yes, its about draft picks.
its about how much ammo you have to move up the draft, and finally find a passing QB.
a QB who plays the position like its meant to be played
a QB who gives the team the best chance to win a title.........not merely make the wildcard, then get destroyed because, well, youre offense is one dimensional.

Well said OP. It seems to me the OC is much more of an issue than the QB at this point. And there is a group of the fan base that is just senseless. Not sure what you get out of hating on your team every single week.
we keep going through OCs, the only constant is the player. results are the same, must be all those OCs. all those guys who spend entire careers eating drinking football, tyring to keep their jobs by succeeding, keep their reputations in the positive instead of the failure catagory. yet, its not the player

If it wasn't clear before... the Peterman experiment has shown Tyrod's actual value. I'd would typically guarantee that he get's a big contract in the offseason, but I have no idea what teams will be in the market.
i disagree with this. Peterman played 1 half of 1 game for his career. You have no idea what he is or isnt at this point, regardless of how he stunk it up.. The league knows exactly what Taylor is.

Here's what I've noticed about wgr....
Morning show is very much similar to how fans feel in general
Murphy and Jones seem way to optimistic even in the worse of times
Schoop and bulldog will essentially disagree with every caller, even if the last caller said the exact opposite. Pretty sure schoop just loves to argue
morning guys are at least somewhat worth listening to.
Murph and Jones, paid to be optimistic, OBD funds their show
3 o'clock rolls around on WGR, turn it off.

I agree with this.
Although I'm not sure why Taylor would want to stay. Benching 2 years in a row and showing obvious signs they aren't viewing him as a long term answer.
It took McDermott until Wednesday to name him starter after Peterman had 5 first half INT's. McDermott was still deciding after on which QB after that disaster.
the only reason Taylor would want to stay is, nobody else in the NFL will give him a shot at starting. He took a pay cut last year to stay with this team, his agent knows the landscape, u dont do that if you have better options elsewhere. this is Taylors only shot at playing. and its coming to an end.

Howard: "Beat New England and then you'll have shown me. Prove you're good by beating New England."
That was probably the best take of the morning. Beat the team that's probably going to win it all again. If not.....same old Bills.
So stupid.
^it really is just that simple. go out and beat the elite teams. +1

i predict Tony, who talks alot, almost too much, will have to censor himself, on every one of our offensive plays, cuz, its just not good tv, to point out egregious mistakes on every offensive play for one team.
i also predict, Tony will teach us about how good Tom Brady is.

does this win mean anything? sure, for the few who believe in the playoffs!!!!
for those who see the ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl, nope, just another draft position lost.
the percentages are against the Bills right now for making the playoffs.

Again, Top 7 in scoring.... WHEN YOU RUN THE BALL SO WELL AND SO MUCH AND SCORE POINTS DOING IT YOUR PASSING OFFENSE IS GOING TO BE RANKED LOW.
Common sense.??
when are we running the ball so well? scoring soooo many points? cmon, one dimensional offenses arent going to get you a Super Bowl win.
the years when the running game was great, we still didnt make the playoffs......the book on the Bills the entirety of Tyrod career as starter, make him be a QB.....and everytime a defense did that, we lost. fight those facts.

Bills scored a lot of points the last two seasons under a different scheme. Why isn't the run game dominant like the last two seasons?
does it matter? when the run game was dominant we still finished......out of the playoffs. one dimensional offenses rarely win consistently.

its almost like some of you watch the games, but dont really watch the games. remove the rose colored glasses once in a while and really look at what took place.

Nah guess not because i dont buy into the mythical coach speak of availability and momentum and culture

the fact that McD left Peterman in there after the 3rd pick shows how much faith he had in the kid, misplaced or not, he left him in, in the hopes he would work through it.
that speaks volumes about how much faith they have in Tyrod. McD being a defensive coach, is probably relying heavily on his OC. Clearly Dennison doesnt believe in Tyrod.
to be honest, Tyrod hasnt given him reason too.
mbe Dennison is bad, imcompetent, etc etc. or mbe Dennison knows that our veteran starter cant run his playbook, and that hamstrings the way he calls a game.
its the classic coach wants players that fit his system, coach has players that dont problem.
they say good coaches can fit their system to what their players strengths are. what are Tyrods strengths? his feet, yes, what else? honestly cant get beyond his mobility. QB is there to pass the ball. we have a runningback.

Want to know why he will be traded because he isnt a Beane McD guy. There thats why. All the other crap is coach speak
yes, coach speak........

Ok yeah lets trade him lets creat ANOTHER hole
do ylu want to be good ever in your lifetime or tread water for coach speak?
lol 1st off, i never said he should be traded, i merely was giving reason why, logically, the front office may be inclined to move him.
2nd, we already have a hole where Cordy played, and its because, he hasnt played.....

Yeah the availability crap. Its football players get hurt.
You make the team worse by trading Glenn in offseason
worse how? if he is now a player who is oft-injured, with a huge contract, then its trade time. youre only worth the money if u play. yes players get hurt in football, thnx for pointing that out to all of us morons.
ffs. he hasnt been reliable in the past 2 seasons, chronic foot/ankle/leg problems in a LT, alarm bells are ringing.
lets not forget the part about whether he really wants to be on the field or not.
of course u dont trade a top LT, if hes contributing and u can trust that he will continue too.
unfortunately, Cordy isnt that guy at the moment.

The coaches also believed Peterman could execute it better than Tyrod so are we supposed to blindly trust that they know what they’re doing?
probably because Peterman is a passer. if Tyrods benching was on Dennison, it makes sense, Dennison wants to run quick pass West Coast offense. Pass to set up the run.
exactly what Tyrod isnt capable of. Dump off passes in the flat dont count. Everything we saw from Peterman, little as it was, showed he was better at the passing aspect of Dennisons offense. of course he went out and laid a huge egg, and the experiment ended.
these coaches are trying to keep their jobs. i refuse to believe, that 1st year coaches are simply phoning it in, making decisions detrimental to the team just so they can have "their" guy be successful.
Dennison has been successful elsewhere. He hasnt had a full season here. he gets the benefit of the doubt with me, because, ive watched 3 years of Taylor not be able to run any kind of passing offense successfully.
do you have to give Dennison a pass? blindly trust him? absolutely not. for me though, the sample size is far too small atm.

in my defense, i meant we use deflated balls. guess it wasnt clear enough. well aware that Brady used the deflated balls, so please, no more of this.
