im sure that last pass play was designed to go to Shady, but ffs, the 3 receiver set on the other side of the field, if u watched it, all of them were wide open, cincy CBs where 15 yrds down field. perfect time for a WR screen.
not on Taylor, just seems like with 2 blockers, might have gotten the first down there.

When he gets panicked and is uncomfortable, he dances in place.
and that dancing leads to inaccuracy, and that leads too wasted downs and wasted drives.

Trading watkins looks worse and worse as time goes on. Defenses didnt fear any of this receiving core and its going to be even worse now. Hopefully clay isnt out long but this defense is going to give us a shot and if its ruined because we have basically nobody to catch the ball its going to be infuriating
opposing defenses didnt fear our passing game when we had Watkins. still stacked 8 in the box against Shady.

keep hearing about Taylors beautiful long balls......yet i dont see it, sure he connected a few times with Watkins on chuck and pray balls, but those are extremely low percentage plays. more often than not ive seen Taylors long balls float out of bounds with no way to make a play on the ball.
i just dont see this aspect of his game. chicks dig the long ball, winning games takes the chains moving on 3rd downs. This is where Taylor is extremely limited.

It's amazing how dead, tired, stupid threads can hang around and linger near the top of the forum seemingly FOREVER....

ya lots of season left, its possible that Gilmore cleans up his play. Pats have more issues on the d than just Gilmore.
the way the Pats approached this offseason makes me think that the Hoodie knows that Brady is just about done and he tried to stack the team for one last run. Pats used to develop through the draft, but that takes time. Signing high priced FAs isnt their norm.

focusing on 1 or 2 dropped balls by 1 receiver surely proves your point that Taylor is a legit QB. +1 for you if Zay dropped 2, i only saw the shallow cross drop. well done.

Yes, Zey Jones was a massive help. Without his 'contributions', 4 other drives would have continued.
I hope you're right; Zey will "most likely not be there every game".

so Gilmore appears to not be worth the money, exactly why OBD waived bye bye to him. Hes a serviceable starting CB in this league, just isnt worth the cash he wanted. NFL is a business. When this team makes business moves people go crazy. OMG, we let our (insert half ways decent player who wants huge $$$$ cuz he has leverage over a team that seems desperate) best player goooo!

where are the Taylor haters? still here, not trying to rain on peoples happiness in a win over a legit team.
Seeing as u opened the door, keep in mind, that Taylor had a massive amount of help yesterday from parts of the team that will most likely not be there every game. sooner or later we're going to need Taylor to win a game with his arm, and we'll see what happens, hope it isnt the same old Taylor.
He did good enough to win yesterday. He didnt do well enough to change anybodies mind about whether or not hes a legit franchise guy.
Go Bills! and i hope Tyrod continues to progress. He seems to have finally discovered a TE who was open all last season!
This win, while much fun, couldnt have played out for the Bills much better. Starting WRs out, questionable calls by refs on important plays. its a win, but not a slam dunk.

I got that from significant research into the issue and Kaepernick is simply wrong. If you want to reduce the number of police shootings through more training fine. But it isn't a racial issue.

the scorched earth policy of many in this country is a waste of time. its my way or the highway.....history has shown that thinking like this doesnt work.
if fans took a knee, you would hope that the other fans who dont agree would respect their decision and just agree to disagree, but i dont have that kind of faith in humanity anymore.
would imagine that somewhere there would be fights, cursing, etc etc...
football is supposed to be entertainment, i dont find politics entertaining. too bad people have to inject it into our entertainment. doesnt matter what side u fall on.
there are better places to discuss the worlds ills.

dont agree with the rookie QB needs a year on the bench theory. if you have an oline that can reasonably protect him, best way to learn the game and get better is by playing. film study is nice, but you have to play to improve.
that being said, appears our oline is terrible at pass pro. sit peterman till that changes. wanna give him a start, game after the bye week looks good. time to plan ahead,
