  1. how is this still a topic? did Sammy cement his HoF status after the first 3 games of this season? or is he still the oft injured receiver who was going to want a crapton of money this offseason with a subpar QB throwing to him? this was a pure business decision by OBD. nothing more.

not over paying a receiver that hasnt showed durability.....

some of you are assuming Sammy wanted to be here after the season. never assume. better to get something rather than nothing.

  2. Zay was clearly lookin for the ball over his right shoulder, meaning that he probably was doin what a smart rookie should do, look to get out of bounds as fast as possible. of course the placement of the ball was left shoulder so he twists and contorts and stumbles his way to a ball that glances offa his fingertips while hes completely stretched out. its possible he ran the wrong route, its possible he looked over the wrong shoulder, its also extremely possible that his QB who doesnt throw guys open or hit them in stride, or throw the ball where its supposed to be on a regular basis blew the pass.

either way, we dont know, only Zay, Tyrod, and the coaches know. Thinking that Zay admitted it was his fault actually means it was his fault is naive, no WR throws his QB under the buss, especially a rookie.

thinking that this one play that was fouled up (possibly) by a rookie WR shows that Taylor isnt a bad QB is also naive.

  3. Rex Ryan picked him.

    He must be good.

lol watched Rex Ryan talking to Jameis Winston on Hard Knocks this season, he says to Jameis "man i never had a QB as good as u, if i did id still be coaching" laughed my --- off. Thats what Rex thought of his hand picked QB after he experienced him for 2 full seasons.

Where do you think we will be picking?

tbh, i think this team can win 6 games, id prefer them to win far less. anything over 6 and we might not be able to get in on the QB sweepstakes. think we will be in the 6-10 range picking yet again....

Just remembering how expensive it was for the Luck/RG3 draft. and we're assuming that Darnold comes out. Sixish QBs that people are talking up, one coming from a sub par program, 2 more in subpar offenses, (air raid/spread). If u want the pro style QBs (Rosen/Darnold) its gonna cost ya.

  4. Love that Tyrod haters are barely literate. That was a garbage game all around. Peterman would have turned it into a blowout.

those wonderful blanket statements about a whole group of people.....brilliant work there. must be hard for you to watch all the subhumans wander around in the darkness from your ivory tower.

  5. nothing Watkins did here justifies the usage of 2 first round picks on him. Injuries happen, other things happen, but unfortunately, Watkins is tied to those picks given up, and compared too other WRs in his class taken far lower with better production. Watkins showed flashes. That being said, he hasnt proven hes worth the inevitable asking price at the end of this current season.

  6. Completely agree tie rod should look at that tape and he'll realize he screwed up on that throw. You do not throw a back-shoulder toss like that when you're rookie wr is running open towards the sideline. He had to spin 180 just to turn back to that ball.

from the replays i sure looks like 1. Zay didnt expect the ball, and 2. He was running toward the sidelines to get out of bounds if it did come to him. Its probably a little bit on both Zay and Tyrod tbh.

  7. TT and Watkins were one of the best duos in 2015. The second Miami game was on the defense and ST. The offense was 12th and 10th in scoring the last two seasons. The defense was the bigger problem. But with a new offense and no deep threat, which is TTs strength, maybe they should put someone else in.

so Tyrods strength is the long bomb. yes, a low percentage play that rarely works when u actually have to move the chains. deep balls are lots of fun, very exciting, they rarely convert 3rd downs. and, if u throw 5, convert 1, does that take the top of the defense for the rest of the game? nope, still 8 in the box, like last year. did you even watch the games? its 5yrd throws or 20+yrd bombs. what happens when its 3rd and 6+? i think u know what happens, if youve been watching.

  8. So full of poo, and you know you are. The Broncos defense carries them and did that while year. Sorry, that the original comment was WRONG.

lol of course the Denver D carried them, but that dead future HoF QB Manning could still find and hit open receivers. cmon wake up. At no point did Manning see straight 8 in the box all season from everybody like our mediocre QB does.....

  9. With Watkins and last years offense, with this years defense, yes. But we never have two units good at the same time.

same stuff as last year, you realize how many games we got behind last year when the running game was shut down and we had to rely on our QB? more than half. u blamed the defense all last year. and then u blamed watkins not being there for Tyrod. we werent winning consistantly when Watkins was there.....ever. There were times when Watkins complained about not being targeted. was the coordinator purposely telling Tryod not to throw to him? No, Tyrod wasnt finding him. One possible superstar receiver wasnt taking us too the playoffs with this QB. Guys were open all over the field last year....and im betting they have been this year as well.

  10. they dont trust Tyrod, Tyrod doesnt trust Tyrod. add that too the crappy field position for most of the game, u get dink and dunk, boring garbage offensive football. Lot more to the playcalling than just hey lets chuck the ball around. You want Tyrod throwing bombs on the 10yrd line? I know i dont.
