  1. No he'll have this in his head for the rest of his career. He'll still be saying, "because I'm not good enough for Buffalo," for years to come. Especially if he's doing well. Player use being cut or traded as motivation all the time.
  2. I'm sure it's because he wanted out by then. I'm not saying I'm for any of his antics. I'm saying you have to understand kids like him. He's never going to go along to get along if he thinks you're not doing the same.
  3. You are the same people who said this about Lynch, Jason Peters, Willis and so on. You people get bitter if the player doesn't bend over backward and kiss Buffalo's ass. He's a troubled kid looking for a leader and Bills tried to play good cop bad cop. I'm telling you I know a million kids like Marcell from the East Side and if they get one hint you could turn on them, they zone you out. Did Rex make him a NT? Rex had him playing zero technique. Am I making that up?
  4. All this stuff you say they shouldn't do, the Cowboys DID for Bryant. He comes from a bad situation. He's learning stuff most people learn at 16.
  5. But the coach didn't want him from day one. And stats in McDermott's defense for a DT is worthless. What are Starrs Stats for McDermott?
  6. Environment is everything to a kid like Marcell. Bills didn't help him. He's lost a lot in life and he needs someone to believe in him. Bills didn't. We'll see but my guess is Marcell will be the best DT in football going forward. I really don't even look at this year because I think he's still in his NT shape.
  7. Because they played him at NT and tried to convince him he was Vince Wilfork and not Warren Sapp. We'll see how it plays out over the years but my guess is they want him to rush the passer more than Rex did.
  8. Daboll also attended St. Francis High School in Buffalo with Jacksonville Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell, San Diego Chargers GM Tom Telesco and Brian Polian, head coach at the University of Nevada.
  9. Has Mike Tice ever really been a good OL coach? Serious question.
  10. If he's done all of that, which I don't buy Detroit should make him HC. If they don't that should tell you something.
  11. If they're gonna draft Rudolph they should hire Chud.
  12. Jim Bob Cooter is not an OC. He's like Chan hiring Modkins.
  13. Depends on the QB we draft. If we draft Rudolph I'd want Chud. If we draft Darnold I'd want McCoy.
  14. I agree. I was just saying we've had some real bad OC's in the last 18 years.
  15. Of the three if Bevell is included I'd take, 1. Chud, 2. Bevell, 3. McCoy. If we're drafting Rudolph.
  16. Every QB has weaknesses. The OC is supposed to hide those weaknesses.
  17. I thought he had some creative play designs. I thought he had a formula or a system for a specific QB and it wouldn't work because TT was his QB.
  18. His weaknesses are supposed to be hidden by his OC. That happens for every QB.
  19. But the offense was ranked high in points 12th and 10th. This year 22nd. Points is all that matters.
  20. But was good with a high scoring and raking offense. I don't care about yards, it's the points that matter.
  21. Actually TT was good for Roman and Lynn. It was the defense that sucked. We could have won 11 games with this defense and Roman and Lynn as OC.
