Doubt they hire him. But if they do what about Monken for OC? Had some head coach looks last year and was obviously handcuffed this year by Kitchens ineptitude. Ran a great O in Tampa last year.

I've been thinking about this scenario a lot and I think it's something Beane will consider given the movement in the past 2 drafts. The combination of Oliver and Fant excites me the most. Fant would give us a weapon with size and I feel like he has less question marks than any of the WR's with size available in the late 1st - mid 2nd. We could also use our 2 4th's to move into the back end of the 3rd if another player we're high on falls, whether it be RB, WR, Oline, or Edge. With all the free agent additions it would be extremely unlikely for 10 rookies to make the team so why not try and add higher end talent.

Love Samia with our 3rd. Would come in and compete at one of the guard spots.

I'm more of a lurker and haven't posted a ton on these forums, but I did post a fair bit on the Buffalo Bills message board before it was shut down. I'm a huge fan of the draft and love looking at how I would approach the offseason if I was in charge. I think our best option at 9 is to try and find a trade down partner and pick up an extra 2nd (unless Quinnen Williams somehow falls). Doing this would allow for extensive flexibility. If we trade down to the mid teens more than likely one of the following player will be available: Jonah Williams Jawaan Taylor DK Metcalf Noah Fant TJ Hockenson Ed Oliver Christian Wilkins Montez Sweat Brian Burns Many of us would be satisfied with taking these guys at 9. However, I can almost guarantee a 2-3 of them will still be there in the mid teens. Moving down and picking up an extra 2nd will then give us the flexibility to move back into the 1st and pickup either one of these guys that falls further or protect us against a run on a certain position group (o-line, pass catcher, d-line) while still maintaining a 2nd round pick. If we could come out of the first 2 days of the draft with something like: 1.) Noah Fant TE Iowa- i think he's safer than any of the WR's in the draft and would give us some much needed size at pass catcher. (Hockenson would also be an option) 1.) Dalton Risner OL Kansas St.- would instantly join the competition at RT and interior oline. Would give us a vauable young piece to add to the vets we already signed (Cody Ford would be another option) 2.) Best WR or DL available *2nd and 3rd would be traded to move back into the 1st. Thoughts?

Really like this, but I'm not sure we'll land 2 top o-lineman in F/A. Could also do Long at LG and Dawkins at RT in this scenario.

If we can trade down in the 1st and pick up an extra 2nd I'd be all for taking a gamble on this guy in the 2nd round. He's a top 10 talent and by all accounts has been a model citizen in college.

Sio Moore would be another guy I'd look at bringing in.

Brown's contract is done after this year.

I read that Kendricks may be available via trade. I think our biggest hole is at weakside LB. We could really use an athletic guy there who has started before in the NFL. Would it make sense to offer up Preston Brown (who had his best season under Schwartz and is on an expiring contract) and a later round pick for Kendricks?

I think if McCoy went down a combination of Williams/Hillman would be able to step in and do a decent job.

I would agree with all of that. I think we could use a LB that has coverage abilities and has started in the league before. Here's who I'd be targeting as added depth: RB: Ronnie Hillman LB: Sio Moore CB: Alterraun Verner S: Jairus Byrd

I'd like to see us drop down to the early 20's and pick up an extra 2nd rounder. We have so many holes to fill and the extra pick will really help fill some of those needs. The guy I'd look at in the early 20's is Jarrad Davis, LB from Florida.

Yeah, I figured it might be optimistic to have Moreau and particularly Godwin where I have them slotted. However, if not them, I think we should have some excellent CB's on the board with our 2nd rounder and some good WR's on the board with our 3rd rounder. Recently I've seen Marlon Humphrey and Quincy Wilson falling to us in the 2nd. Even a guy like Chidobe Awuzie would be a nice pick. I'm sure we'll have a shot at a good CB in the 2nd, even if it isn't Moreau. If Godwin isn't there in the 3rd, I'd probably look at guys like Chad Hansen, Adarius Stewart, Taywan Taylor, or Carlos Henderson.

I joined here from the BBMB where I was very much a lurker. I must say, this board is a vast improvement over the BBMB. I like that people are actually can actually express opinions here without being censored by the mods. The draft is one of my favourite parts of the year and I love making mock drafts. Here is my first of hopefully many posts here. I think the Bills have to do everything in their power to trade out of #10 (unless Adams or Hooker fall to 10). The Bills have a ton of holes and this draft is very deep, particularly in rounds 2 and 3 where we may be able to find players that can contribute early. I read earlier today that the Giants are really interested in OJ Howard. If we can move down to #23 and pick up their 2nd rounder that would be an excellent move for us. With that move being taken into consideration, here is what I'd like to see the Bills do: 1. Jarrad Davis LB Florida 2a. Fabian Moreau CB UCLA 2b. Marcus Williams FS Utah 3. Chris Godwin WR Penn St. 5a. Jeremy Sprinkle TE Arkansas 5b. J.J. Dielman OL Utah 6. Ifeadi Odenigbo DE Northwestern I've tried to keep round projections fairly accurate with different mock drafts and rankings I've read online. I think this draft would be a step in the right direction for our d and really accelerate the rebuild. Thoughts?
