Hard to be worse than Tyrod. How many times last year when we really need it did he drove for a score?

Where did they take a step back?

    McCarron > Tyrod

    Peterman = Peterman

    Allen ???

    so how are QB's worse??

    The delusion is real.

What Average Mcarron can do with his arm wont be more effective than what Tyrod did with his legs.

    1.  Is the quarterback roster better or worse? Better
    2. Is the running back roster better/worse? Better.
    3. Is the right end/receivers better or worse? Same
    4. Is the the offensive line better or worse? Worse.
    5. Is the the defensive line better/worse? Better.
    6. Is the linebackers better or worse? Better.
    7. Is the defensive backs better or worse? Better.

If you say that at least 4 out of the 7 have improved why would your expectations be less than 9-7 and playoffs? No backsliding anymore.10-6 and a playoff victory

    Competition.

We dont know if the QB position will be better this year.

A QB is very limited with a poor Oline. Especially an immobile one.

Hate Tyrod all you want...but he was able to move the sticks with his legs and mask a lot of the poor offensive line play.

Watch the Iowa & Oregon games

Just finished the Iowa game. He threw the two picks.

You dont like to see that 1st pick. I dont think it was the wrong throw....but he had a free runner going at him and he threw it on the inside. Mistake.

Dont really care about the second one. Hes just trying to make a play. Game was over.

I didnt really see anything outside of that to be honest. There was 1 play it was a 3rd and 7 and he went with his 1st option and gained 6. Short of the 1st. They went for it on 4th and converted.

The one thing I did notice is, he got a little more rattled as the game went by and the game was getting out of reach. Iowa kept on bringing rushers and they kept getting to him.

The line truly failed him in 2017.

Same here.  The vast majority of his passes were right on target.  I think decision-making in the pocket is his biggest issue by far.

Do you have any kind of link or video with a time stamp on it with these kind of errors?

I havent been able to find anything.

Thank you, thank you...yes, I get it.  You guys have a love affair with waxing poetic about the Saux, or the "U", and yes I know I am going back a few months with bringing this up, but this really was a thing.

This really should be a 30 for 30, or something.

    What doesn't it have?

    The Drought.

    The unlikely heroes (Dalton, Boyd).

The new coach and new regime.

Would things be too late for the old veteran (Kyle)?

    The "touchdown".

The once nationally mocked and reviled "Bills Mafia" shown to have tremendous heart.

The foundations...what happened with Dalton and Boyd almost unheard of in pro sports as it relates specifically from one team's fans to another city (Houston, as nice as it was, doesn't count.  That was a tragedy that had us all banding together)...show everyone the results of the donations.

...and The Reaction...all over WNY and Bills fandom everywhere.

You mean to tell me you are going to have any problems interviewing Jeff Glor, Wolf Blitzer, Nick Bakay, Poncho Billa, Jim Kelly or anyone else about this?

Be smart HBO and ESPN.  You don't need to be a blood hound to smell this story and realize that many, even outside of Buffalo, would want to see this.

Meh. There should be a 30 for 30 for the crazies in the parking lot.

  6. People need to stop worrying about the tailgaters.

If they wanna dive through a table let them. Jesus christ. Besides.....the majority of people seem to enjoy the reckless videos.

You can think these guys are embarrassing and give Bills fans a bad name. Youre wrong. These nutjobs and their videos are why the outside world think the Bills have the best fans in the country.

When you hear anyone in the media say the Bills have the best fans in the country...its not because you bought your season tickets for the 12th year straight.

I do understand the concern inside the stadium though. We cant have drunk fans falling off the 2nd level and fighting. Outside...do whatever you want. Inside...sure if you get reckless. There will be consequences.

First, I thought it was peculiar that the Allen tweets came out right before the draft.

Now, right AFTER the draft in which we selected Allen, sexual misconduct allegations lead to Russ Brandon's departure.

Terry Pegula orchestrated all of this.  He invited Brandon into the war room.  He made it possible for Allen to fall to the Bills.  And now he's gotten rid of Brandon - who will serve as scapegoat in the event that Allen busts.

    Money = Power

    Don't forget it.

But given his flaws and lack of production, Josh Allen could have been a 3rd round pick too. I compare him to Blaine Gabbert or Christian Hackenberg.

I’m really trying!  I want him to be good just like I want every Bills player to be.  I just feel like I’ve seen this movie before and know the ending.

and I think they done good things on defense, but I’m not at all sold on their offensive player evaluations.

Hmmmm....I think you have to toss the production in the backseat. Pretty poor team he played for.

I hear some knocks about anticipation from media...but then they dont show him missing a guy running a seam wide open with his hand out.

Not to mention he made some very nice throws in the Senior Bowl with better competition. I think he played with sorry players and that made him look bad.

You can tell Josh is trying to make the right throw.

He doesnt seem to abandon the pocket early many times. Its usually the line's failure that makes him run.

I think if youre gonna take anyone as a project QB with high hopes of success its this guy.

I don't disagree with your rankings over who has had better proven seasons, but my biggest argument was that you said his season last year was "middle of the pack at best"

He had a better season that a good chunk of the tier one guys on that list.

Many of those tier one guys are retiring soon(or coming off a huge injury in luck's case).

Most of the tier one guys are on the tail end of their careers, and if their GM called and said "I'll trade you X for Goff straight up" the Rams GM would hang up on them laughing.

6 of your top 11 will be gone within 2-3 seasons

Luck and Wentz had season ending inures.

So other than Wentz, the Rams wouldn't trade Goff for any of the bolded guys

Thats fair to say when these guys are gone Goff has a shot to get into tier 1. Goff is still young. Id like to see him take that leap. I thought he was a better passer coming out of college than Wentz.

Hes not there yet. He was not the focal point of his offense last year. It was Todd Gurley. Goff was ok in the playoff loss. Youd like to see more from him, but it was his first time and you obviously give him a pass for it.

Now there are expectations. This will be an important year for Goff.

So who is better than him in football then?

(I'll discuss more I'm just gonna shower)

Qbs I will take this season over Goff

    Brady

    Rodgers

    Big Ben

    Brees

    Wentz

    Wilson

    Ryan

    Stafford

    Luck

    Rivers

    Manning

    These without a doubt.

The rest below I think are where Goff could make a case for

    Newton

    Mariota

    Winston

    Watson

    A Smith

    Carr

    Cousins

    Goff

So at bessst....he could be 12. Id take Mariota, Cousins and Newton over him. So that puts him pretty much at 15-16. Thats middle of the pack to me.

Im not saying hes bad. I think he had a decent season and he could have a better one this year. Lets not act like hes some of elite QB. Thats what im saying.

yes I know all about how good Gurley's season was.

drew brees had 386 completions for 4334 total passing yards

alvin kamara had 81 receptions and 826 receiving yards

mark ingram had 58 receptions and 416 receiving yards

that means 139 receptions and 1242 of his passing yards went to the 2 running backs

that equates to 36% of his completions and 28.7% of his total passing yards

jared goff had 296 completions for 3804 total passing yards

todd gurley had 64 receptions for 788 receiving yards

malcolm brown had 9 receptions for 53 yards

that equates to 24.6% of his completions and 22.1% of his total passing yards

tom brady had 385 completions and 4577 yards passing

james white 56 receptions 429 yards

rex burkhead 30 receptions 254 yards

dion lewis 32 receptions for 212 yards

total of to 118 receptions and 895 yards went to RBs

that equates to 30.6% of completions and 19.55% of his total passing yards

I guess Drew Brees or Tom Brady (you know, the MVP), werent as good as anybody pictures either, since they had an even larger chunks of completions, with Brees having a significantly higher % of yards, and Brady's yards being roughly equivalent to their RBs.

Good point. Glad to see you saw some football this year. Brees didnt have to be the QB hes been the last 10 years. Hes very fortunate to have a rushing attack and alvin kamara.

Like I said there is nothing wrong with throwing to the RB. But thats not what makes you a top tier QB. Goff is not a Tier 1 or 2 QB.

Number 1 in attempts. Tom Brady.

Number 18 in attempts. Jared Goff.
