I'm thinking top5 if it all clicks.

    Loved the Phillips pick.

Still have a lot of questions to answer about the defense though.

-how quickly will Edmunds transition to grasp the NFL schemes? MLB is huge for McD 's system

-how will vontae Davis perform? He was very subpar last year, and people are forgetting his good EJ Gaines played when healthy, he was a big part of the passing defense

-can Murphy return to form? He's missed time and had a big injury

-can star return to form? He's been on a downtrend the last couple years, so hoping McD can bring him back up form

That's some big questions, but if they all work out in our favor, this will be a special defense

We might have the talent for a top 5-10 unit....but it will never statistically show if the offense has a poor TOP.

We had the 31st ranked passing attack. I highly doubt we're going to "regress" at that position.

We might regress as a total offense. Lets say we cant pass the ball because our line cant block......Tyrod would at least be able to use his legs.

The safety net of his legs were able to keep the chains moving. Now obviously if we can get decent passing the sticks will move naturally with the QBs arm.

We will get a better idea this year just how important Tyrods legs were to the offense.

  3. Agreed. I think anyone with a brain would understand the situation the teams that got a top QB were in.

With all those guys there and available...its makes the most sense to draft/trade up and not sell the farm. Imagine if Cleveland was picking 1st and didnt need a QB and only Josh Allen came out that year. I will guarantee you a team would have made some farm selling offers for that pick.

The value was too good to pass up.

Now if Josh Rosen becomes elite and Allen busts....there will be backlash.

He's screwed because he hired a serious defense attorney?   Please tell me that's not the claim you are making.  He might be screwed but certainly not because he hired a serous defense attorney.

    Obviously not.

Hes screwed because hes a scumbag. lol

Welp, now.  What sounds better?  “I took PEDs to gain an illegal competitive advantage” or “I took PEDs because I’m just trying to return from injury and help my team?”

I have no doubt some athletes believe that taking PED will help them recover better from an injury, but especially when the injury is to a tendon or ligament, it’s actually possible taking anabolic steroids won’t help and might harm.

Im thinking more of the HGH side of banned substances.

That's a terrible idea.  You will have a boat load of guys come years end faking injuries just so they can take peds and gain an upper hand.  It wouldn't be hard for a guy to get a Dr to sign off on a bogus injury either.

Well there would have to be circumstances. You cant be on it during regular season unless youre on IR .

Like if you are on the field you cant fail a test. Mandatory testing for all players. Blah blah blah, im sure the NFL could come up with something.

I am totally torn about something with fortnite..my son has actually started to make some money playing on twitch...but he leaves Monday till Mid August for his camp counsellor job.  So the real job, with no electronics for 2 1/2 months... or starting to get paid for playing video games?

If hes good enough to stream, make money and gain followers. Let him ride the wave and take that chance. Some of the highest paid streamers make over 50 grand a month.

Peterman's career is done. It's over. You never recover from throwing 5 picks in one half, even a seasoned veteran. Mentally, the effects are devastating. Jay Schroeder, a Pro Bowl QB, threw 5 picks in the 1990 AFC Championship vs Buffalo, and he never recovered. Went from a career high 90.8 QB rating that year to 71.4 in 1991 and never higher again.

lol, its not likely peterman will recover...but thats on the individual, we cant just say anyone who throws 5 picks is done.

  9. Idk why people are so salty about Tyrod. Hell end up being one of the more memorable QBs as time passes with this Franchise.

What he could not do as a consistent passer, his legs and arm made him effective. He was good enough to win football games. Ill always love and hate his time with us.

For the clown show he became with brother Rob, being a mic whore and coaching an underachieving team, he kept us informed DAILY of what was going on with the team. Every day from the Draft through the season, I could link up here or on B.B.com and get my daily fill of the Bills. I also appreciated that he opened every presser with injury updates.

Of course he had to go. The schtick wore out quickly and the on field performance was sub par. But he kept us informed. For all the bragging McDermott loves to do about his pro experience, he still hasn’t realized Rule #1, it’s prime time entertainment. On the rare occasion he is in front of the mic, he’s says nothing of value, leaving fans ever-wondering WTH is going on with the team and current injury status.

Rex brought something the team hadn’t seen before or since. An informed fandom.

    I also liked his truck..

    onward with ‘the Process’..
