  1. 74 million Americans voted for him in 2020 during some of the worst parts of the pandemic he was bungling. Even though Biden crushed Trump in the popular vote, he only won by about 43,000 votes across three states in the electoral college. That’s about 0.03% of all votes cast. Trump is more popular now than he was then. This is a coin flip race.
  2. Oh look, NC Republicans think the MAGA posters on PPP are a big problem:
  3. "Everything I don't like is fake news!" -MAGA
  4. Biden's not dead, he's just been traveling back in time 40 years to start allowing murderers into the country bit by bit so that there will be 13,000 in the country by the end of his first term.
  5. Weird that the video cuts out in the middle of a sentence. Would be a little embarrassing for you if the next words out of his mouth were "an immediately almost, they added an additional 30 counties" and then go on to explain that he expects the numbers to go up as FEMA gets more data...
  6. Biden's not dead, he's just been looking for the ABC whistleblower who doesn't know what company they work for so he can run them over with his car again. He's hoping they'll stay dead this time.
  7. Has anyone here pointed out that the data for the claim at the top of this thread was based on was collected over 40 years? "A DHS spokesman told NBC News in a statement: "The data in this letter is being misinterpreted. The data goes back decades; it includes people who entered the country over the past 40 year or more, the vast majority of whose custody determination was made long before this administration. It also includes many who are under the jurisdiction or currently incarcerated by federal, state or local law enforcement partners." That means, on average, 325 per year. Also, for 90% of the time covered by the data, the president was not Joe Biden. So it's clearly wrong to claim that Kamala Harris let in "13,000 Illegal Alien MURDERERS". Given MAGA's continued protestations that they are indeed the truth tellers, I am sure they'll walk this all back in short order...
  8. This defines basically the entire MAGA movement at this point
  9. Oh! I know the answer for two of those off the top of my head: Fox News was created because Roger Ailes thought it was bad that Richard Nixon resigned and wanted to make sure that never happened to a Republican president again. The Epoch Times was created as part of the Falun Gong religious movement that also puts on those Shen Yun dance performances. The rest? Probably as conservative politics moved father and farther from reality, coverage from traditional media outlets appeared more critical, creating a market for outlets to reinforce those conservative beliefs that diverge from reality.
  10. You guys are going to be absolutely gobsmacked when you hear about Fox News, OAN, Newsmax, The Epoch Times, Washington Examiner, NY Post, National Review, Daily Wire, Daily Caller, Twitter, and the Federalist.
  11. Just checking in: any update from the whistleblower who didn’t know what company they actually worked for and then died in a car crash but then didn’t die in a car crash?
  12. Anyone who thinks this election is in the bag for either candidate is deluding themselves.
  13. Also, the DoJ filed the document under seal last week. They didn't make the document public, the court did. But I'm sure MAGA will find ways to explain it as some grand conspiracy.
  14. Looks like the general consensus among voters was that the debate was a tie, maybe with Vance getting a slight edge: Some polling I saw (doesn't seem like there's a lot out there yet): 50% Vance | 50% Walz (Politico / Focaldata) 51% Vance | 49% Walz (Fox 2) 42% Vance | 41% Walz | 17% Tie (CBS News) 51% Vance | 49% Walz (CNN) Not a poll, but the Polymarket betting platform sees it a bit differently than the polls: 73% Vance - 27% Walz (Forbes)
  15. I was thinking the same thing. This is basically what debates used to look like before 2015.
  16. That’s my immediate reaction as well. But I’m not an undecided voter, so I can’t say how others will react. Will be interesting to see what the focus groups and polling shows.
  17. Gonna be a bit before they respond. They’re busy buying Trump watches
  18. “We are glad to be endorsed by lunatic weirdos like RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard” -Guy whose brain had been pickled by the internet and has no idea what real life is like.
  19. The GOP should run hard with this message. Put it in every ad, throw it on every billboard. They should make it their slogan
  20. He’s not known for his debate skills. During the VP vetting process he reportedly told the Harris camp that he’s a bad debater. I haven’t watched his prior debates but from what I’ve heard, he wasn’t great. Meanwhile, Vance is a polished Yale grad who has a lot of experience with this sort of thing. He seems very comfortable under the lights and in front of the camera. The debate format just seems more suited to Vance than Walz.
