  1. I think it's so hard to do mock's right now with the possibility of us trading for Hopkins. You trade for Hopkins, our entire draft outlook changes honestly. You go out and trade Hopkins I'm going into the draft and taking either OT or LB in the 1st. Assuming we trade a 3rd or something for Hopkins then i'm using a 2nd on whatever I didn't draft in the first and then from there on out adding depth guys.
  2. If the picks isn't WR, OT, LB, or a massive DT in the 1st, it's a failure.
  3. To me, there is nobody in this mock that gets us over the hump and makes us a legit SB contender. It’s obvious the Bills are addressing the interior of the offensive line via free agency and aren’t going to use high draft picks for a OG or OC. This offense needs another weapon, someone to take the pressure off Diggs, and to make this offense unstoppable. Make a trade, move up, do SOMETHING outside or continuing to build through the draft. I’d trade a 2nd or 3rd for a proven, day 1 impact player over anyone in this mock.
  4. Agreed. He followed Allen on IG yesterday and posted that “Buffalo soldier” meme for a reason. He knows where he wants to go.
  5. I just don't see how Buffalo doesn't make this work unless he's asking for some renegotiated contract and wanting crazy money. Where there's smoke there's fire. Beane needs to do whatever it takes to get this done. Offense wins SB;s now days, we've spent years trying to build an elite defense to win and it hasn't happened. Add Hopkins and then spend the draft adding a LB and DT depth.
  6. Where there's smoke there's fire hopefully. Spend most of FA/trade for the offense, then spend the draft on adding to the defense. This team is to close to the SB to just carry on through the draft. Send them a 3rd and a 4th and bring in another elite WR and lets go!
  7. Agree 10000%. I said the same thing on one of the Bills pages on IG. I think they need to do everything possible to build an unstoppable offense and it starts at the offensive line. An elite QB like Allen does nothing when he's got pressure in his face all game long or running for his life. They need to bring in someone to compete with Brown at RT and add an elite talent at WR opposite of Diggs. A lot of rumors swirling about Hopkins, but if they are serious about winning the SB, they'd do SOMETHING. The other thing KC and Philly did last year was they traded draft picks for proven players. Philly traded for AJ Brown, KC traded for Toney and both were massive reasons why they 1) made it to the SB and 2) won the SB.
  8. Seeing how they are really focusing on the offensive line in FA, they may very well go OT early. They may have realized they have to protect Allen better and be able to run the ball and in doing so need to invest in their offensive line. I would not be mad at RT, then MLB in the 2nd and then BPA from there on out. There are some good WR's projected to go 3rd-4th rounds and some big boys in mid rounds for DT depth.
  9. I highly doubt they are banking on Bernard, but they may be thinking between Bernard, Dodson, Spector and then a mid round pick this year they can find someone? Who knows.
  10. He struggled last year in his only start against I think the Jets?
  11. Agreed. He's got a long ways to go though. He's undersized for a MLB first off. I think when he was drafted he's like 6'3 225. He'd need to bulk up this offseason and put on a solid 15-20lbs to even be considered an every down MLB. They also liked Baylon Spencer too and re-signed Tyrel Dodson who has seen some starting action when Edmunds was out. Not saying any of those guys are the answer, but I'm sick of ignoring the offense to continue to try and win a SB through a defense. This offense needs weapons and to protect Allen. They're working on the protection part, but we need a RT and legit #2 WR more than anything else. Obviously stud LB too but RT, WR, and LB most important.
  12. Excited to see what Shakir can do next year. He showed glimpses last year and hopefully with a full year under his belt he can turn into a legit slot receiver.
  13. Problem with this is based on several different big boards, not many LB's ranked high. Most have shown early 2nd rounds for the highest rated LB's.
