Dwayne Haskins killed [Edit: struck by vehicle]
T&C replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
A man died this morning at only 24 years old... a lot of the comments remind me of the Hunger Games, the need to win. Just an observation. -
Nice story for Woods and all but Scheffler is playing outstanding golf, wouldn't be surprised at all if he wins the tourney.

Dwayne Haskins killed [Edit: struck by vehicle]

Had to be, no one in their right mind would just go walking around there... I've been through there and its busy as *****. "Florida Highway Patrol is working a fatal vehicle vs pedestrian crash on westbound I-595 at I-95. Westbound lanes of I-595 will remain closed during this investigation." -
I stopped by a yard sale last Saturday... lady had some albums so I'm going through them and came upon a copy. But, there was no vinyl inside, just the cover... bummer. I have a copy but I'll always grab good stuff for a buck.

How so?

Just mentioned that to my wife literally 5 minutes ago. She usually smiles, nods, and says "we'll see". The Sunday matinee game here in Tampa is the one I Really want us to win. Seems the younger players we have are more receptive to losses like this against the current best teams... they see and learn how to be on top but still think a loss sucks.

Missed the first 2 periods but was surprised to see its 3-3 at intermission... and the Sabres feed for a change. I'm not into the espn+ games, they don't have the same feel.

Just released within the last 24 hours:

Boom... that didn't take long. Don't think I've ever heard a chick call a game before...
-
Enjoy, and just to say... we technically aren't out of the playoffs.

Unbelievable shot by Niemann for an eagle.

Just putting this out there but if anyone isn't near a tv you can click on the masters link in the 1st post and then click live, and then chose what you want to watch. Woods is on the featured groups but you can watch other areas of the course.

Good, the Lightning lost again... 3 in a row. That game is on my radar but I'm not going, will be watching it from here. We have an ugly stretch coming up starting tomorrow night so I guess its a test to see how far we've come.

Anderson had to get a blade replaced and they did it right by the goal. I honestly had no idea how they did it but I see now... pretty streamlined from the old days.

Time to get back on track against the Hurricanes. I can't get the home feed so no RJ tonight for me.

He won't if he doesn't make the cut.

What is interesting is that there is no copyright on the standing buffalo but there Is on the charging buffalo. That's why you see all of the cheap knock offs and the stupid mafia stuff using the standing buffalo.

https://www.buffalobills.com/news/april-5-in-bills-history-charging-buffalo-introduced-as-bills-logo-15104242 Took a little getting used to but I still love the standing buffalo the best. April 5, 1974 - BILLS INTRODUCE NEW LOGO The Bills announced a major change in the team's logo for the 1974 season. Gone was the red standing buffalo that had been the team's mark since 1962. It was replaced by a blue charging buffalo with a red streak, the crowning achievement of artist Stevens Wright. How the Bills got their name: Following the 1946 season, in an effort to generate more fan interest and distinguish the football team from the city's minor league baseball and hockey teams, which also bore the name "Bisons," the team ran a contest to select a new name. Over 4,500 entries were submitted, and "the Bills" won out over "Bullets," "Nickels" and "Blue Devils." Several contestants suggested the winning name, but James F. Dyson was named the winner of the $500 prize based on his essay comparing the team to a band of "Buffalo Bills." He wrote that, while the legendary Indian Scout William "Buffalo Bill" Cody helped trailblaze the American Frontier, the football team (owned by the president of Frontier Oil) was opening a new frontier in Buffalo sports.

1,000% agree that this whole setup is stupid. Still, I can't fault someone for furthering their education, its not really his fault, its the system in place.

Just heard that on the way over to the supermarket. Georgia, the entire state, is getting absolutely hammered by rain, storms, and wind right now but it looks to clear out by Thursday for the most part. https://www.baynews9.com/fl/tampa/weather/travel#Southeast_Radar-WX

Pretty much forgotten. Never got into them but they were around. Kind of like Black Oak Arkansas.
