  1. Lol... the local news is on and they were gushing over these two. Carolina should take that division this year but maybe NO will make it interesting.
  2. The Eagles do.. never have seen them, actually can't stand them. Their concerts from what I'm told sound exactly like the albums so what's the point of going other than a big sing a long. For probably the first 150 concerts I've been to I don't think there was a way to see setlist unless you knew somebody in the know. From that point forward I've never really cared tbh.
  3. Evan Engram was not spotted not at the Jaguars' voluntary OTAs. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported in April that Engram wasn't expected to participate in voluntary workouts as he and the Jaguars look to reach an agreement on a long-term extension. Engram was franchise tagged by the Jaguars earlier this offseason, but GM Trent Baalke has already expressed confidence in the two sides working out a deal. Engram posted a career-high 766 receiving yards on his one-year prove-it deal with the Jags and was leaned on heavily during the season's final two months. He'll have some low-end TE1 upside this season and is a threat to go off for a big game on any given week. SOURCE: Demetrius Harvey on Twitter May 30, 2023, 11:32 AM ET
  4. I used to sell these and the 2 bits of advice I can give is that if you have the 17" tabletop version it would be easier on your wallet if you bought the adaptor so you can use the 15-20 lb propane tank... those little screw on tanks get pricey if you use it a lot plus it sucks to run out when you suddenly have a bigger crowd than you first thought. Other thing is they take a bit of time to get seasoned right, sort of like cast iron pans, so use some sort of cheap shortening like Crisco over your cooking surface when not in use. Get a couple of 6" drywall knives (stainless steel) and the lid off of any 10-12 inch pan to steam/melt, etc. Blackstone accessories are stupidly over priced so just avoid their stuff if possible. Enjoy...
  5. Profootballtalk's Mike Florio reports Jimmy Garoppolo can be released without penalty by the Raiders this summer because of his 2022 foot injury. Garoppolo's deal originally included an $11.25 million signing bonus, but that was converted to part of his base salary after he failed his Raiders physical this spring. Garoppolo can be cut for "any reason" related to his foot, but his $22.5 million salary becomes guaranteed once he "passes a physical exam, is active for at least one regular-season game, and does not suffer re-injury to his left foot." It would certainly seem Garoppolo's physical was most disturbing to the Silver and Black. What was already looking like a questionable signing now has the makings of a potential fiasco. 6. Jon Gruden visited the Saints to "assist in the installation of their offense" with Derek Carr. Gruden, per Vic Tatur of The Athletic, "still holds out hope of coaching again" after he was forced to resign from his job with the Raiders. This appears to be a trial balloon to the idea of Gruden coming back after offensive e-mails surfaced during the NFL's unrelated investigation of workplace harassment with the Washington Commanders. Gruden would probably have better odds trying to come back as an underling, but it remains unlikely that an NFL team will actually hire him. 7. The Athletic's Kalyn Kahler reports the NFL is investigating a fifth Lions player who may have violated the league's gambling policy. The player under investigation, according to Kahler, is not a prominent member of the team. That likely means the player is not fantasy relevant. This is the team's latest potential violation of strict gambling-related rules implemented by the league in recent years. In April, safety C.J. Moore and wide receiver Quintez Cephus received indefinite suspensions for betting on NFL games, and wide receivers Jameson Williams and Stanley Berryhill received six-game suspensions for placing bets on other sports while at the Lions facility. Williams later said the team had not informed him of the NFL's rules around gambling. SOURCE: The Athletic May 26, 2023, 10:49 AM ET
  8. Sucks that it's come down to this really. I have to retract what I said about not rooting for Florida teams... I root for East Bay football and little league because a kid I've known since he was born plays for them, his older sister was a cheerleader too. As long as Vegas fails I'm good.
  9. The old albums on the Sue label VG+ or better are decent pieces... hard to find like that, they played the crap out of them. Could then just go to the record store and buy another one. Same with James Brown, etc. Slowly but surely we are losing the greats.
  10. I'm with you... can't stand any Florida teams, of any sport, but I'll take the Panthers in this scenario.

  12. This has been around for a bit... hope no one paid the $350 full price.
  13. Little Rascals/Our Gang... guess they have gone out of style nowadays but they were funny as a kid.
  14. Yeah, I think a lot of people think of a punt that hits inbound and goes out at the 1 or 2 Yd line. I do too. Teams will be coming up with ways to use this to their best advantage for sure. Wonder if we'll see the flat line kickoff a lot this year.
  15. https://www.baynews9.com/fl/tampa/news/2023/05/24/nfl--kickoff-returns--new-fair-catch-rule--football "The proposal passed despite strong pushback from coaches and players across the league who argued the rule change will create uglier plays with squib and corner kicks that make fair catches impossible."
  16. Meh.. this is just a backup account for you.
  17. Dude, it's the internet... everyone has their own take and really, in the end, no one gives a *****. Its just entertainment lol.
  18. Has to be the Canes or the Stars to win the cup this season... help needed lol.

  20. NFL owners passed a vote to allow Thursday Night Football flex scheduling. Thursday Night Football had been the only primetime spot not subject to flex scheduling late in the season. The passed vote allows the league to manipulate all primetime games late in the season, effectively removing the potential for poor matchups. It seems like another money grab idea predicated on satiating the paying broadcast companies after Amazon purchased the rights to Thursday Night Football for $1 billion this season. While there are strict rules in place as to which teams can flex into the Thursday Night Football game, the new rule could be viewed as detrimental to the competitive integrity of the game, particularly considering the increased magnitude of late season games. 2023 Concerts

Been to a couple of these, always a good time no matter who plays... last one we went to had Jack Bruce, Melanie, "Badfinger", Jonathan Edwards, Eric Burdon/Animals... and of course Flo & Eddie. Tickets are decently priced and the accoustics are comparable to Kleinhans. https://www.rutheckerdhall.com/events/detail/happy-together?fbclid=IwAR22UzLtY3XKh_-_t_BnS8-WpSB2ZpBXs5vucLHSSIseE5kz7bQ50cHrqBY
