That's where the negotiation comes in. If a 2nd pick is traded (for example), then that would require AZ to eat some of that money. If something like a 4th-5th round pick then likely they would take on less or any of that money. If that is indeed what is going with all this, but your guess is good as mine

Speaking for myself, I can't really argue with you here either. I would do 2nd rounder if needed especially (JMO) this draft doesn't really look very impressive to me. But yeah, also if giving a 2nd rd pick I'd assume that would mean AZ eats some of that money.

Not really considering the time left in the game. Time that was left at that point they didn't have many options (if I'm not mistaken).. and if lucky enough to get in range for Bass and if getting everyone to LOS to clock the ball to at least have a chance.

Maybe, I feel that I'm not alone in saying that I recall yelling "Dammit Gabe wtf, catch the damn ball" quite a few times during the season.... However I will say it does seem like he dropped more of those intermediate kinda of passes and was better on the longer passes. But anyways...

I don't know if it would have or not, but there were times throughout the season Josh threw passes right in his hands that Gabe dropped. So I wouldn't say it "likely" would have been caught for a TD considering he had butter fingers far too much all season

I fully agree with you that offense needs more.......but everyone has to agree. So if Hopkins doesn't work out and Beane ends up getting (for ex.) Jeudy instead...I assume since for you it's Hopkins or else ,in your opinion he should still be fired.?

Yeah, I'm not sure what exactly he was looking at that he thought Hopkins jersey from? Old Dustin Hopkins is only thing I can think maybe....but I didn't see that either myself. Anyways....

Yeah it has been that way a few times, especially regarding Buffalo. Last year I don't remember how much talk there was regarding Von Miller and Bills. If I'm not mistaken it was more talk of the 3-4 other teams they expected him to go to and wasn't til a bit later only thing mentioned was a "dark horse" team to possibly get him. Wasn't til that point Buffalo got mentioned if I remember right.....

Or, what if it's neither of those things at all...... What if they didn't get that deep into contract structuring etc because it fell through and no agreement could be made making both teams moving on to other options, being why there's not much to update Warriorspikes would start cutting himself while questioning why bother living anymore....j/k

Some point or other it will be, but it could turn out to be an update that yourself and many others get disappointed. Kinda like how that Ertz thread dragged on and eventually the update was him not signing with Bills

Yeah it could play out that way also....I can certainly understand if it does. Either way regarding slot position in particular, I feel good about Shakir coming out on top of the competition and winning over the starting role. If they part ways with McK or if they end up keeping him for depth/gadget plays here and there etc it's fine too

Yeah he definitely made some plays and came on strong during that last stretch of games when getting more opportunities. I'm with you in thinking he can make a big impact next season
