  1. Yup, was thinking that too lol. Soon as that muffed PR happens and it takes the W away. There will be ppl missing Roberts.
  2. League leading KR average. He does have enough breaking speed, not the fastest, but fast enough. Again I'll say KR's taken for a TD don't happen hardly at all. He also was best in the league not only for the Bills, also with the Jets. He's a damn good KR/PR. I get the point he doesn't give you what you want at WR, and that's understandable. But to say he wasn't impressive as a KR/PR specialist, is kinda silly.
  3. Yeah I'm aware. I mentioned upthread about that.....A KR or PR hardly ever gets taken all the way anyhow. I mean how many returners the past few seasons have taken it all the way for the TD? May have 2 or 3 possibly that have. But point being it's rare, specially last few seasons as it's most of the time a touch back. Which makes it even more rare. My point was that you always felt he was due and it could happen any time with him. Also he got good/great field position pretty often. Sometimes you knew he should have taken a knee when he ran it out. It happens. But he definitely got great position a whole lot more than he didn't.
  4. Yup, agree. The 3rd rounder is so close to the end of the round it's like a 4th. Also I'm aware he was impressive a few years back, and he still may be good. I don't know since he's been with the Browns. Honestly have seen much more of Chubb than Hunt. I think he would still be a little pricey for a RB. But I feel confident in whatever decision Beane makes. With that being said, I don't see Hunt as being the RB they get. I think they add a RB, but imo doubt Hunt will be it. We'll see....
  5. Yeah I get that. But we know how little Bills ran the ball too. In any event, I agree though. He's not impressive and also would probably cost too much for a RB.
  6. I'm not disagreeing with you, but he didn't get very much plying time with Chubb playing did he? Either way, I don't see him coming to Bills anyways.
  7. Wow!! Really? OBJ to the Fins. Lol well ok Edit: Just saw fake account.
  8. ok, thanks. Not sure where I was getting 1.3 from. That's still not too bad though, but I guess if you look at it like he's not a good WR, I can see why that $ could be used elsewhere.
  9. Yeah he did take it out EZ once in a while when should have taken the knee. And I get he was just trying to make a play. However scoring on KR/PR don't happen often at all. So that doesn't bother me. And he gave Bills great field position many, many more times than not. Just saying I get why they moved on being likely he wasn't much of an impact at WR. He was just very reliable as a return man. I never thought to myself "hope Roberts doesn't muff this kick" and was always confident he was going to give decent field position for the most part. Yeah you're right about the bold though. Most of the time the touchback is taken anyways. But it is nice to have that threat though. And even though he didn't take one to the house (which hardly happens anyway) you just knew and felt at times it was coming and he could at any time.
  10. He wasn't making big money though. Thought it was like 1.3$ per. Unless I'm mistaken, which is very possible.
  11. Well, not sure if Bills made him an offer or not, but if this is true, good luck. Was great having a threat to take it to the house for a change. Since McGee I believe.
  12. Maybe, anyways I doubt DS goes anywhere myself. I do think another RB is bought in though and they still do a rotation. But you never know I guess, they could trade him, but I don't see any value ihe will get. Beane can definitely surprise you though so wouldn't put it past him to get something. If he could get a 3rd for Tyrod, he can do anything I suppose lol
  13. Not sure about Hunt playing ST. I don't think he does. Could be wrong though.
  14. I mean they carried 3 last season. Although 1 was inactive most of ther time.
  15. Would be interesting if they did get Hunt. This is one that I don't think happens either though.
  16. Really? Why do you think that? It's possible I guess, but I don't see it. Lol, knowing you this post was sarcastic and I missed it. Anyway, if serious I would imagine they'd get much of anything for him.
  17. Yeah you're right. You never know, though nothing really surprises me with NFL, but this definitely would if he becomes a Bill.
  18. Yeah that's the thing though, I think he would accept that reduced price just to stay with Brady. Just my 2 cents of course.
  19. While that's true, I think we can recall how much the Chiefs got away with in that game too. I guess I'm trying to say it was made clear that depending on which officials you have that game day, it's different how much you can get away with and what is let go or called/not called. In any event though with that being said, Bills OL was out played, but also some of it was do to a lot of holding Chiefs were constantly getting away with which in case forced Josh to hold the ball longer. Definitely not saying that was the sole reason. I mean there were quite a few times Bills OL just got blown by and was in Josh's face before you knew it. All in all Bills got outplayed, bottom line. Just wish these games were called similar and consistent. One week they let teams hold basically all day and only maybe 1 flag gets thrown. The next week they call holding with the slightest touch. It's frustrating and can make an impact on these games.
  20. I guess anything is possible, but I really don't see him leaving Brady if he's playing again this season. I think he will play with Brady as long as Brady keeps playing and as long as Tampa wants to keep him. imo if Tampa parts ways he will retire again. Just seems like he and Brady will be together as long as possible
  21. Yup agree. With Dallas and way they did that contract for Dak recently, it surely went up then lol. I remember reading a month or so ago that they were planning Josh's in the summer sometime. Don't know if it will go up much more between now and then though at this point with summer right around the corner. But definitely seem true that the longer it's put off the higher it goes.
  22. Yeah I haven't seen anything about that. I really don't see that happening, like at all. If it does, I will be really surprised
  23. I'm not familiar enough with him, but I'd definitely want a sure handed (for a large majority of the time) player receiving the PR and KR. I'm one of those that hopes to keep Roberts if possible. At least hope they make him an offer. Even though McK broke one for a TD last season, I just don't feel as confident in him as I do Roberts as far as fielding the P/KR, due to he hasn't done it as long as Roberts. Not saying he can't, just feel more comfortable in Roberts not putting the ball on the ground and/or muffing the catch. And yes I'm aware he fumbled one last season and made a couple head scratching returns when he should have taken the touch back. But he also gave them awesome field position a whole lot more times than bad, but it's very, very rare he fumbles and even more rare he muffs a return. Whatever they decide though it's likely either Roberts or McK will be the KR/PR.
  24. I for one am very happy they managed to resign the same guys up front. Even though the run game did struggle, it's not all on them. I think with the continuity and hopefully with a little different scheme with the possibility of another RB coming in, I have confidence the running game will improve. All they really need is to show just some improvement, enough to show it is a solid threat and make teams respect it to some degree. If so, it will only make the passing game more dangerous than it already is. And Allen will always be a big threat to take off himself, although flip side of that is teams are well aware they have a fairly good chance he puts the ball on the ground.
