If we get to the SB...any fear of Tampa Bay?
Patrick Duffy replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
To tell the truth.....I always had that bad/worried/unconfident kinda of feeling that goes down to pit of my stomach each and every time we played against Brady all those years. So I'm sure if it plays out that way the PSD likely kicks in lol. But won't be as bad knowing it's not the same ol Bills now. -
Nah, I wouldn't have the slightest droplet of confidence in his availability. You said the obvious in bold here. Regardless of the contract it's not worth the risk imo,
-
If had to pick 1, would you choose Sanchez or Tua?
-
Well guess he's not playing better enough. Not better enough to lead his team to a win over those 2 bad teams. However, there was recent notification that informed me that there is reason to be concerned of the serious possibility for him "blowing up" the Bills Defense Sunday. So I for one, will be prepared and in no way will be caught off guard by this sudden change in his play and having a career all around game. Nah, no worries at all about Watson or anyone else

No

Lol, ok that's my point. Because the public statements were lies then that means the public statements is what did it. So if they wouldn't have lied in the 1st place nothing would have come of it. So the start of it was the public statement. Whether truth or lies, it was a statement made. So if you say it's not the public statements being the reason for the fall out, then what would you say is the reason?
-
Yes, in which case those public statements is what did it then. You stated it was not the public statements that did them in. Those statements which turned out to be lies was the start of it. That means ultimately that is what did it right? Not sure if you meant something different when you said the untruthful statements isn't what "did them in"
-
Lol, think he was just making a laugh out of his teams situation. Which I get it, sometimes you may as well laugh about it
-
Well not to be an ass, but did you honestly think many would have a serious discussion about this lol? When I 1st saw thread title I was 100% sure it was one of those sarcastic or joke type threads. Maybe if your wording was a little different? I don't know about you, but when I read something that says..."Tua blowing up" at any time or any game, much less against Bills Sunday...I immediately think, "this is likely going to have some funny stuff in this thread". Maybe if you had said..."Tua could possibly look a little better this Sunday against the Bills than before" then could have worked, but basically implying Tua could light it up picking Bills apart is something a large majority won't take serious lol. Edit: Also even less likely Tua "blows up Sunday" with Bills coming off bye and ready to knock souls apart from bodies coming off that last few seconds tough loss.

Not that it's very important, but I'm a little confused here. You said it wasn't their public statements that will do them in. Then 2nd post here in bold seems if that's the case then it sounds like it is the public statements. You say the dealings or whatever proved the public statements were BS. If so, then it seems the BS statements is the reason. If BS statements weren't made in the 1st place then it's different right?
-
Yeah, he was one of those I always considered a true "needs to sit and learn for a while" type of QBs. Even if he wasn't dealing with the injury, I had same opinion. Since he was injured though and was healing I would think that would especially make one want to sit him even more. At very least 1 year or 2. He clearly wasn't ready when put out there
-
Yeah, but he didn't seem drunk. Looked like a regular Joe on his way to work and was pulling trailer with lawn mowers etc. I'd be surprised if he was lit at that time anyways. I think he was just being sarcastic, although I didn't see it til he said Fins 11-6 here we come... lol

Spencer Brown likely out vs Phins, back injury
Patrick Duffy replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well if anyone has to be out then the next couple games are good ones to do it -
I mean he may show some improvement some being the 2nd game against Bills. But "blow up"...Lol, yeah I wouldn't bet on it
-
Lol, not sure. It was around 8:30 a.m though, so if he was tossing em back that early then he's a man who's serious about his alcohol
-
Idk...but I was informed by a Fins fan today at the gas station that "Tua was gona burn Bills up this time" and that "Tua was starting to feel it and heat up". But then he followed with "Fins gona finish 11-6" So never know I guess
