Yeah, he did. The safety wasnt even credited to that. It was because he threw the ball and it was charged with intentional grounding. A penalty in the endzone is a safety. Either way, Lamar is the one that ran all the way the hell back there anyways.

I mean we got Lamar running all the way back to the endzone, running over a ref and intentional grounding in the endzone. Is that not hilarious? We got Purdy who has it easier than anyone in the league being touted as MVP getting all the way downfield on a 10 yard pass only to throw a pick in the endzone. Is that not hilarious? Basically the two best teams with mid QBs duking it out. Should be hilarious.

Allen has also won footballs games because he makes those kind of throws. Allen has carried this team for a big portion of his career. Taking away things that makes him special is what they tried to do earlier this year and it was a disaster.

They were on a short week and had to fly across the country. That takes a toll. Chargers defense played them different than other teams had. Probably weren't expecting it. They had 3 turnovers... but they also battled back from 3 turnovers while getting none of their own. Thats not easy to do.
