  1. It could. I think Tua is good but isn't elite. He isn't going to carry a team. His team will need lots of help. Hard to do that with cap space and paying him though. People talk about windows. Josh Allen always has a window. Pat Mahomes always has a window. They are elite. Miami's window is now. They are essentially all in now.
  2. Sure, they have a choice. They can roll with White or some other journeyman and hope to be bad enough to draft another QB and hope that QB isn't a bust. Most teams won't do that because the fans can't handle that.
  3. JA - Agree, but I am talking about playmakers for Josh Allen SD - was 2-3 years younger and has fallen off a cliff this year. I think he is injured or something. The last 3 games he has had between 50-65% snap counts. Whose #1 only has that? Kincaid - capable. I like him a lot but his use has been mostly short yard check down like stuff. Cook - is a playmaker but he has hands problems. Drops the balls a lot and fumbles too much. Gabe - unreliable. Questionable hands. Lacks separation speed. He is a one trick pony. Oline - best Josh has had and played well this year. Im specifically talking playmakers, not protection OC's dont drop balls, fumble balls, and throw interceptions. Josh needs a speedster that can get open, catch the ball, get YAC, and make contested catches. Who does that right now? I'm not even saying that Brady is the guy. I obviously said I don't know yet. I also obviously said that it doesn't look good when your defensive minded head coach calls a timeout and takes over offensive play calls at the end of the game. As I also said, this isn't even Brady's offense. I would hope they would interview experienced guys at the end of the season and not just go through the motions to promote Brady. There just isn't enough information to know if Brady is any good or not. I will still stand by that Josh needs a better outside receiver to pair with Diggs. The rest they can roll with.
  4. Im not suggesting he is under pressure all the time. The line has played great most of the season. Certain games and certain situations where it's jail break though. Hell the one pass he completed to Shakir in the clutch was a 3 man jail break off the snap. The dude caught the ball in stride. You can't show still frames for this. Show the actual clip. Just because the DB caught up a half yard over 5 or 6 yards distance doesn't mean Kincaid slowed down.
  5. Right.... pitch and catch with no one in the area and having a crater for a pocket is the same as someone a step or two away with pressure in your face. Read the charts I posted. It shows that Allen finds the open receiver more often than Lamar while Lamars receivers are far more open than Allens.
  6. I didnt say it was good for them. I just said they don't have options. Extending Tua will probably actually help them with their cap next season. They are still going to lose players and not be as good though.
  7. They have to pay him. They don't really have options.
  8. Not yet but it's tough to say. First, this isn't really his offense. Just a spin of Daboll/Dorsey playbook. Second, we have don't have the playmakers honestly. One thing I will say is McD having to call timeout and take over the offensive playcall was a red flag. It should be obvious to just sneak there. He tried to get cute and go shot gun. Just no man. I'm actually glad McD was smart enough to do that.
  9. Just gonna throw this in here because I talked about it today and was told Allen gets the same open receivers as Lamar
  10. Yeah, I know Josh missed some throws but those plays were nothing like this. This wr wasn't even covered. He had a good 15 yards of separation from any coverage. Lamar had a crater size pocket with zero pressure. That is nothing like what Josh had.
  11. Howard probably. Interesting conspiracy theory...
  12. Care to show me those plays. Both pocket and how wide open the guys were.
  13. Pathetic that there is no recourse for bad refs. They just continue to do whatever they want. Wonder if Miami picks him up with how dinged up Mostert and Achane keep getting
  14. I don't care. I see these plays with busted open receivers every week. I'm not saying we never have them but its pretty damn rare.
  15. I dont expect him to return to form after that, but he was to form this season before injury.
  16. At the time of this throw Lamar had a pocket the size of a meteor crater and the WR had no one around for like 15 yards. This is their primary receiver and no one covered this dude. There is a difference between wide open of a couple yards with no QB pressure to worry about and wide open like this
  17. Let me know when Allen has an offensive design and a #1 or even a #2 or any damn receiver that Josh can throw to like this and he will be MVP too.
  18. Tre was back to his self this year and only played in 4 games. Still had 1 int. Only allowed 50% of his targets for a 3.1 avg yards per target. Rasul has been great for us but half of those ints were this week and the other half against the Jets 5 weeks ago. He isn't a "clear upgrade." They basically been the same player though. Both on the field would be even better.
  19. It's one of those things you don't really want to play with at this point of the season. One bad fumble back there can be the difference between a win and advancement and sitting on the couch. Harty, even though he has been a poor returner, has had solid punt catching ability despite his fumble against the Chargers. Even though he has been poor at returning, his YPR is still close to avg at 9.1.
  20. Doesn't confirm Howard is out but doesn't look good for him.
  21. Back on the fence. I was on the fence before. I was fire him after Denver. I am back on the fence. I have always believed he is a good coach. Just not sure he is good enough to get us over the hump. I am still at he needs to at least get to the AFCCG though. Can't remain stagnant or keep moving backwards. At some point something has to give. This has probably been the easiest season ever to get to the superbowl in his tenure and the team has been dysfunctional all season. Regardless of how I feel, he is probably safe anyhow.
