Because? I'll assume you feel the same about Mark Ingram, Carlos Hyde and Latavius Murray. Productive, veteran backs that are apart of a committee but can shoulder the load if need be. They are valuable, whether fans on this board think so or not. I'm glad Beane knows this.

Beane is on the right track. A bunch of fans on here wanted to wait and draft a 2nd or 3rd round WR. My concern was that Josh didn't have 3 years to wait for a guy to potentially develop and adjust to the pro game. Beane seemed to realize the same, hence the trade for Diggs. I'm encouraged. The rumored interest in Jordan Howard makes even more sense now.

I anticipate the lack of spending by Buffalo has something to do with Tre's impending deal. I have zero doubt they will make him the highest paid DB in the league, for however long that lasts. Conklin is the only guy I wish we had been in on so far. Miami is doing great by coach Flores.

Howard was #2 on my wants list behind Conklin because he fits. Singletary is going to be the bell cow. Howard will be our thumper/short yardage/cleanup guy and a veteran presence. I wouldn't feel comfortable going into the season with Josh having to rely on a 2nd year guy who's not great in pass protection and a rookie RB just learning the ropes. Mark my words, Buffalo will love him!

A veteran RB who is physical, can receive out of the backfield and is great in pass protection. This "vaunted" Bills defense wanted nothing to do with him this past season, when it mattered in the 2nd half. You must have turned the game off after that run then. There are more important things than speed when it comes to running backs. Howard is plenty fast enough. He can also block and is a good receiver as well. Both are far more important traits.
