Anybody who is surprised has not been paying attention to this front offices MO. They made their big acquisitions in the off-season and will not overpay based on what they see as a players value.
When a player who can’t get on the field for that incredibly elite squad in Washington is going to be considered an improvement, you know you’re in trouble. Not to mention one whose back is sounding like it’s going to require surgery.
Damar Hamlin is a heavy hitter too, but at least he can cover better than Abram. Having him and Jonathan Abram would be a really bad choice. Because everyone knows that it’s not Hamlin that they are trying to replace in this circumstance.
Gabe and Diggs need to reign in the chatter and just show up and play. Diggs had a great first half, but both of them have let this Jaire thing affect them.
I think the team came out in the second half with the absolute belief that they were going to blow these guys out and got way too cocky. This should readjust their attitude for the Jets game.
