This ties into the posts in regards to tailgating. If the stands are a sanitized, family friendly locale, then the party crowd, of which we have an abundance, is in no rush to get inside for the game. I've gone to Bills games in 4 decades now and the change has been remarkable in the last 5 years. Perhaps it coincided with that jackass sliding down the railing on the top deck?Maybe he should be pissed at security. You can't do anything in the stands anymore. I can only scream really loudly when standing... sadly that is now banned from the stadium unless celebrating a particular play. Then it's back to your butt on a bench. Takes the fun out of it and disuades people from cheering/yelling.
They have been "changing the culture" in the stands too, to a PC, family friendly, no fun zone safe space. The atmosphere at THE RALPH has been disintegrated and subdued. Fans "wanted this" apparently, people want a sanitized environment so their kids don't hear any bad words or mean drunk people. The world is too rough for them, the delicate flowers. JMO
Gotta get everyone behaving before they put up big $ for a new stadium.
I'm kinda fired up about it, as you can probably infer.

Is this practice squad? Who are they looking at replacing off the roster?

That A-hole is a good football coach. His team's are prepared and physical. They play to their talent level. He is the best coach that we have had in the drought. He's just an a-hole.
This has been my take on the matter as well. He quit on the team when we were seeing some improvements on key facets of the game and had the most hope for ending the drought. I don't forgive him for that or that it lead to us being subjected to two years of Rex.

This. All day. Every day.LET'S GO BUFFFFFFFFALLLLOOOOOOOO...

NFLN got their list from the Jets game.....week 17 last year methinksI just saw Eric Wood listed as inactive on NFLN. Does anyone know if that is accurate?
-
The new NFL training center in Braavos is doing wonders "A coach has no name"?Dennison rips off his mask to reveal he has been Greg Roman all along
-
DucacAss is inactive, thank goodness
Apparently we are not the only ones to have been shown the light on that RG spot. Groy is solid depth and Ducasse may just be there for system help with Miller. Never wish ill will towards a player, but am happy to see him sitting based on his PS and historical performance.

I'd argue that. Based on other fans reactions, we are more of the pity case. I don't get people laughing when they see me in Bills gear. I get head shakes and shrugs. The Bills are the laughingstock of the NFL. No one associated with the NFL has any respect for this organization nor do they deserve any.

only way I could validate my first prediction........sure as hell hope you mean the FIRST HALF......................

176 passing yards per gameThree probowlers on an offensive line, and you struggle to score 14 points a game? When you have a top 3 Rb in the NFL?
-
7 pro bowlers- Hughes, Kyle, Hyde, Shady, Wood, Incognito and Glenn- lead us to a 9-7 record, but no playoffs. Defense is much improved, finishing top 10, but offense struggles to score 14 per game.

Why is this thread still open? Mods can go ahead and shut this down.

Because I love football and the Bills are the reason I do. Because of tradition. Because of masochism. Because I spend 7 months of the year without Bills football discussing Bills football.
-
I cannot attest to Billsmovinup's reputation as a breaker of news, but if he is correct, this is the only valid reason for it to be accurate.1 day contract to retire as a Bill?
-
At which point they will sign J Will
To the PS? We should be so lucky
-
moreover he plays safety and we only had 3
Way to go ahead and ruin a perfectly good hot take with fact YOLO!

Take it for what it's worth, but I have a friend with Fins connections who has told me they are not happy with Julius Thomas at TE and are looking at Barnridge.I dont get it either. I understand he wanted to hold out for better offers but it isnt like he had a mega contract before. At this point I would think he should be rethinking his offer unless he is going to wait until someone gets hurt this season.
-
I thought about that and, despite wanting to state that Cleveland is worse, I couldn't definitively state that any other team is clearly worse. Let's see after at least one regular season game is played. You else besides the Jets, do you place as clearly worse than the Bills. Of course, personally I don't see a big difference between being 13th and 32nd.
-
Don't feed the troll.Yeah, those 895 yards in 12 games were pathetic.
-
I don't even know if you're serious. He's been pretty much of an ironman so far in his career and hasn't been medically cleared to play. It's not like he sprained his ankle.Matthews is such a kitty. Just like Watkins!
-
You doubt the Lorax? I liked Hodges back there as well, but Lorax has been a surprise at every position he's played for the Bills and he is definitely capable of being in charge of the D on the field. So LORAX is also going to play Mike if Preston Gets hurt.
Yeah this is playoff caliber depth on this team
Yes they can. The can cut him tomorrow, today or yesterday
-
Certainly possible but he has never made an NFL team before and now he is here to be our main backup at a position McDermott says is the QB of the defense.
The majority of focus has been on the Jon Williams cut. In terms of actual impact, I think Hodges was an equal, if not greater, surprise. The guy was all over the field and looked like a key cog in the defense this season.
Also, Gunner, you weren't one of the posters I was speaking about who quit on the team. Scott Law was the most recent, but multiple posters have been stating "not watching games this year " and "done with this team" over the past months. I appreciate posters who express their opinions on the team and the moves made by the HO. I don't understand those that post despite openly quitting on the team.

Unreal. There was a heavy dose of luck, but the guy can play. Sometimes to be good you have to be lucky and vice versaWhat a ridiculously crazy ending. Rosen threw for 292 yards in the 4th quarter! He had some luck, but he also made all the plays he had to near the end.
-
Um ... next time wait until the game ends before pronouncing.
"This guy Rosen blows me away" was assuredly what Captain Positive meant to say...
Why so thin at CB & safety

The Bills are going for quality over quantity? I like the starters and Wright is not the worst back-up in the league, but I still worry about cutting a guy like Mabin who was a solid system fit and showed a nose for the ball in the PS. Hopefully we see him on the practice squad and can call on him if someone goes down.
