Ever since I can remember, I'd watch live games whenever they were on. Having kids changed it. I PVR and watch after the kids go to bed. It's a challenge to not check TBD or sports media, but the valuable family time is so worth it

thats why it has to be a PS guy imo
Mabin is my best guess. Whoever it is won't be active anyway

Odd to have an open roster spot this close to game time
They have secretly signed Kaepernick and will bring him out from behind a shroud before the anthem to successfully piss off the fan base better than last week. The ultimate troll move.

Gaga was strong last year, but watching Metallica in concert right now is as close to watching Nickelback as it gets. So unimpressed by what they have become. I know Hetfield would have to eventually get older, but why did he become so soft?I want Lady Gaga in back to back years or Metallica.

That stat is 100% accurate. The other 39% of the time the D was getting scored on. How could we possibly be better than that? Rex in-effect-ual.we will CONTINUE to leave darby and gilmore on islands even though they're getting torched deep because THAT's how this defense is effective 61% of the time!

No surprise here. He has been excellent for the vast majority of the time. Great to see the recognition!

Put Peterman In!
Based on the knowledge of Peterman garnered from this board, he would have assuredly doubled that mark.

Is he upset over trumps travel ban? Just kidding... but these psycho lefties will still insist that we don't need to thoroughly vet people that come into this country. We just need to accept terrorism as a part of every day life now. We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
You have a better chance of getting killed by a natural-born 4th generation American than you do an immigrant. Terrorism has many forms, though looking at today's political "leadership " , you would assume it is something solely undertaken by Muslims and Muslim sympathizers from the "left". This is a sad and horrible thing, done by a vile and broken human being. However, we cannot allow for further division and dis-trust to overtake America. What a sad and broken country todays USA is. If this is"MAGA", I'd hate to thinkof what isto come.

Did you watch/ listen to Skip and Shannon yesterday? Shannon Sharpe nailed it. This is not the protest the owners want the players to think it is, it's a protest against Trump telling the owners what to do. It's a financial protest. If it were truly a protest for unity and inclusion, why wouldn't thishave happened around so many other more truly important events and controversial statements and actions by Trump. The true stupidity of this protest is that it serves solely to create even further discord and division. If the NFL WAS SMART, everyone would have stood with arms locked together, showing both solidarity and respect. It's over 70% of Americans. Thats why protesters are being heavily booed.
And Villanueva has the highest selling jersey right now.
Just sayin'
Well put. If anything, the protests are many viewers "last straw". I didn't get as much publicity, but Trump also complained about what many others complain about.... flags, refs, taking hitting out of the game, etc....
Let's also recognize NFLs "selective" free speech. No to breast cancer awareness, no to 9/11 remembrance, no to supporting slain police, but this is ok. If they were consistent this would not be as big an issue either.

That is a mischaracterization of what he said. There were many good people there who were only in attendance because they objected to the removal of the monument. They were not Nazis or KKKers. They were objecting to the erasure of our heritage. Sorta like being against book burning.
That is how you read it and not what he stated at the time, but what was placed in a follow-up press release. Trump really has zero ability to consider his statements while he's making them. You can support him all you like, and I will never comprehend how someone can, but you cannot honestly believe that he is articulate, well-spoken or considerate of his words. Should a leader of a world power not at least provide these three attributes?

That's okay. I'm actually trying to reduce my work load these days.If I were your client I would cease to be.

Yes I agree. There are an awful lot of easily offended people out there. The world is one giant safe space.
While this is very true, should we not hold the president to a higher standard than others? It seems that the standard for which America tolerates political leaders and their level of communication just fell out of the sky the day Trump was elected. You may not have liked Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush etc., but they each were able to filter personal sentiment for the betterment of the whole.

No they're not. That's just silly. But seriously, how many of us " protest" while at our workplaces? Are ballplayers somehow different?
How many of us have a national platform with which our protest can possibly bring attention to our cause? If I could start my work day once a week with an email to all of my clients explaining how I detest the president and all that he stands for, and I actually felt it would make an ounce of difference, I'd be on that. I don't like that the anthem has been chosen as the platform for this protest as there are so many things for which it stands that deserve respect, but today's America is a divided nation and so many of the NFL's players stand on the opposite side of it from the president. Having a president that openly states that a Nazi flag-carrying, gun-toting, anti-semetic chanting group of marchers has many good people in it is surely not invoking confidence in a group largely consisting of black and hispanic males.

Nail on the head for me. I have shirts, hats and jackets with both, but for everyday wear I am a standing Buffalo guy. Gameday is either, but often charging Buffalo jacket and shirt under jersey. Jersey is always throwback. I even rocked the OJ week 1. That was a thrift store find in the late 90's I couldn't pass up but never wore.I prefer the standing buffalo on my clothes but charging buffalo for the team

That's a long limb. Jax has playoff aspirations and without Robinson, Hurns is the definite WR1. Marquise and Jaelen are not going to cause any D Coordinators sleep loss.Going out on a limb. Trade with Jags for Hurns once Strong passes physical.

Thank God for fantasy football. At least we get points there.Love this dude, he got me 14 points last Sunday.

My first thought when I saw that they had signed Poyer was " A Cleveland Browns DB coming off a write-off season?!". Apparently that was a stupid thought. He has been excellent in the first two games. This safety tandem is legit.
-
Totally. Klay is the guy for sure. More of a comment regarding a hypothetical injury situation.Probably just backups in case of injury. Never hurts to get some reps in case of emergency.
-
Jordan Matthews and Micah Hyde out to take punt return reps w/Kaelin Clay. Jones taking KR reps. Sun will be an issue. #Bills
Is it just me or does anyone else hate it when a high caliber/ much-needed rotation player takes punts or kick-offs? Can you imagine if Hyde got hurt taking a punt return? Tate and Klay are good players, but afterthoughts on the offensive side of the ball and, as such, far more expendable.

Agreed. It was a nice build with the supercharger dropped in, the lift and the wheels, but it kinda missed the mark on the interior he was hoping for it seemed. Regardless, very happy for him. Seemed like a great guy doing great things to help his fellow veterans. Always great to see a vet recognized for their sacrifice and appreciated.Dude served in Afghanistan...desert tan seems logical

"I told Bill cheating was the only way. Why does he try and play fair the first game of the year? Why not let the scrubs do that in week 17?"
