Ex-Bills return to OBD as predictably as Jason Voorhees to Crystal Lake this time of year.

I’m not overly surprised that the move was not made for a wide receiver. I am, however, surprised that they didn’t do anything about the defensive line, even a smaller move. Hoecht and Oliver are big spots to fill.

That’s something that Herbert can get excited about. Neal has been a bust for the G-Men. Penning is absolutely serviceable.

we’ve got 11 minutes until Beane’s witching hour of 3:36 PM when he loves to make his deals.

Oh boy, my son text me a while ago and said he would give up 2 first round picks. I said no way. And the biggest reason is because I am not sure the coaching staff we have knows how to incorporate a high level WR into the offense. That being said I would give up next years 1st for Garrett Wilson.
I just looked at this years stats for Wilson and they are a little above pedestrian. But he has Justin Fields throwing him the ball. So there you go KJ. Give the Jets our first next year, and lets go.
I think Beane is pretty bad with his draft picks. And I would not be opposed to trading most if not all of our picks for next year to bring in help at WR, DL and LB or DB to give us a great chance to win the bowl.
Beane isn’t bad with his draft picks, he just doesn’t get the right value out of the first two rounds. So, if you trade out of the first this year, you better have a nice acquisition.

“ all right Justin, we’ve got nobody to play left tackle with both of the starting tackles out for the season. Here, we have purchased you a New York turnstile instead. Run. Run really hard.”

The Chiefs still need to play the Colts and division-leading Broncos 2x and are 3rd in their division. I would think they would be better off trading for an O lineman, considering that Patty was hit 15 times by the Bills D
They haven’t put out a top-tier running back in a long time. They’ve had good individual running games from a couple of guys, but we don’t know what they can or cannot do with a guy who is a legitimate three down back in the prime of his career. Hopefully we’re not about to find out.

Meyers isn't a slot. I guess he can be, but isn't where hes been taking his snaps. There's a post in here too that shows his stats have been much better from the outside than previously in slot too
BTJ has been a slot

Would we be happy with Deebo? He definitely adds something and is still better than what we have.
He adds something. The size and speed of a overage linebacker. This is not the Deebo of 2021. This is an often injured overweight receiver.

That seems like the move you make if you are trading BTJ, doesn't make much sense otherwise.
Slot receiver versus outside receiver. They can absolutely co-exist and once Hunter is healthy, all three plus Etienne and Strange are top-tier offensive weapons.

As a slot receiver, he has to just be over the moon in getting to receive from the master of the hospital ball himself, Trevor Lawrence.

I don't think they are wrong.
I feel bad for the kid. He seemed like an all right guy who had the best of intentions and he really wanted the playbook. He had real intent with that playbook. I mean, I guess he ran out of toilet paper or something cause he sure as ***** didn’t read it.

I mean Jerry jones said it. So I guess we will find out about it at some point.
would be weird if he said it and then it wasn’t true.
Likely for a “ Michael Parser” replacement.

So Strong and Sanders were severely hurt in practice, while Daquan Jones was hurt during warmups (not to mention Oliver’s first injury occurred in practice). The defense is snake-bit this year.
Somehow Taylor Rapp was to blame each time

My thoughts are how much will Brady use it?
We had MVS who did nothing here, then went to the Saints and had 4 straight weeks with 50+ yard TDs right after we cut him.
Why didn't Brady figure out how to use that? Or does he not want to?
Is that the same MVS who got cut from two different teams and is available out there right now? I’m pretty sure that was an anomaly. He did have some decent games as the only option to throw to in New Orleans.

He would be a massive acquisition. A rental, but amongst the best possible options in the league to increase the level of this defense.

Coleman and a 1st would be my starting offer
Although I understand wanting to deal Coleman, I think a first is a little much for an often injured wide receiver.

We talked about him in draft thread as a guy that slid. That said his stats this year aren't great except his TD%.
They’ve got this other wide receiver who keeps distracting all of the coverage….

Won’t be worse than what it normally is. People are hung up on the name. It’s not 2020. Tarron Johnson is a liability now. He needs to be moved to safety
Taron was very good until the start of the 2024 season. So, “ it’s not 2023” may be more accurate.

That was peak Sugar high Josh. I had hopes for a win that game. I now go into the playoffs with an expectation for a win.
