Bills fall to #25 in NFL Power Index

It seems like other coaching staffs understand our personnel than we do. -

Yesterday was our worst loss in ten years. We need to shut up and sit down. -

What I think you meant to say was Buffalo is an embarrassment. If only we had gotten their front office... -
Every Nate Peterman throw from the Saints game
Elite Poster replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He really doesn't. I am not saying he can't make good throws or that he will be a bust and never have success in this league. He doesn't have great velocity on these throws. He consistently has balls that fly all over the place (happened throughout preseason too) because he's putting everything he can on these intermediate distance plays. All I am saying is this thread is pretty stupid. You can't compare garbage time for a QB that was not gameplanned for to the team's starter. He made a couple decent throws. Whatever. I want to see what he looks like when other teams know what his weaknesses are and go after that. -
Blame Dennison if You Want, But it's Not the System

If Tyrod is under center and we have one WR wide, it is going to be a tolbert HB dive 100% of the time. As a viewer at home, I should not be able to diagnose an NFL offense. -

Another guy who has watched him throw the ball all of 15 times. Watch what he did in college. Also, did any of these throws have any zip? They were all touch passes. -

The anti-Tyrod. Flush him out of the pocket and he will fall apart. He doesn't have the arm strength to throw on the move and does not have the athleticism to make a play on the ground. These highlights are no better than pre-season. They did not gameplan for #2, they did for #5. -
Blame Dennison if You Want, But it's Not the System
Elite Poster replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It absolutely 100% is the system. What the heck are you saying? We have installed a scheme that does not fit our players. People here seriously need to watch other football teams play. You guys watch the Bills then tune into SNF where its Brady, Manning, Stafford, Brees, and Carr every week. Watch the Seahawks, Titans, or Texans (before Watson gets hurt), those offenses are built around getting their QB on the move. The opposing defenses for two weeks straight have said they are making Tyrod be a QB - NO, that is not it, WE are making him sit in the pocket. We burned the 3-step drop, ran RPO/roll-outs from shotgun then had some success, and for some god forsaken reason, we have brought it back. As soon as we finished our 10-15 scripted plays (where we actually looked good yesterday), we once again went to looking like a hot steaming pile of ****. This is on Rico and his inability to adjust, and it started on his shoulders when we changed our running scheme. You are blaming Tyrod for not being a certain type of player, but he isn't that person in the first place. Its like if the Golden State Warriors asked Steph to attack the rim on every possession. That is not what he does, he will look like trash if you ask him to do it. This is why I have been saying and asking everyone, what do you honestly see here that is different from Rex. It is the same exact thing. We are trying to fit square pegs into a round hole. Meanwhile, the Pats defense which was multiple/complex has been simplified, and guess who is playing lights out? Stephon Gilmore and the Patriots defense...We talk about Belichick like he has a huge ego, but when it comes to his schemes, he will set them on fire, take a massive dump on them, flush them down the toilet, find them in the sewage, and bomb them - if it means he can get better production out of his guys. EDIT: And for the love of god, the personnel favoritism by this staff makes me want to put my head through a wall. Tolbert should not be playing as much as he is still. Has he made an impact since week 1? Seriously?!? Suckasse - don't even get me started. Its embarrassing watching our O-line get dominated and one of our most improved players from last year isn't even active. Why not? Because he is not a scheme fit. When you build a scheme and try to fit your players to it (REX ALL OVER AGAIN, Jeff Fisher, Chipper Kelly), you will fail. When you build a scheme for your players, you will succeed (Chiefs, Rams, Pats). -
Could Dareus be why the players quit?

Classic! You can give up 5k rush yards, watch #95 get pancaked for 4 quarters, but the default Buffalo response is to blame the QB. Don't get me wrong, they all played like ****, but this defense collapsing has a lot to do with us no longer having an anchor in the middle of our 4-3 line. We have 3 pure pass rushers as DTs, the Jets exposed it, the saints capitilized on it. Welcome to the club. The second we traded Dareus I said the run D will struggle. Well what happened. -
Every Dareus hater, APOLOGIZE

He was in the building, we were wrong. We will be watching him, Sammy, Darby, and Ragland play in the playoffs this year. Wrap your head around that. -

Do you understand 5 rushing TDs? 10 straight runs on a TD drive? 7+ ypc to their back? Apparently not. -

Another guy who doesn't understand gap control and discipline. It was definitely the heart and desire to tackle. Starting two weeks ago our team no longer felt like tackling. It's all feelings guys. Feelings and heart! -

Remember when all of you told Marcell to shove it?? Come out now and criticize me now. I said from day one that he is a big reason we did well against the run, he gave our team gap flexibility on the line. Kyle is getting dominated for the second game straight and I'm still the only one with the balls to say it. .. -

No its mostly our interior guys that are doing most of the struggling, Hughes and Shaq aren't getting big sack numbers but they are playing well against the run and are getting a lot of pressures on QBs. We replaced the wrong guy. -

Remember before we had Dareus we struggled against the run, then when we drafted him we went from being a perennial bottom 5 run D to a respectable one? I hope that 6th pans out while the Jags cruise to the playoffs.
