Trump: We will be talking in great detail about WHO next week. After the facts are in... ? dum-dee-dum-dum ? Comparing the amount of money in to WHO, and how they are so China-centric. China has taken advantage of us because they are a developing nation. (talking about WTO now) We are not approving new judges. We were in a minority position. Now, we are winning cases. The US was taken advantage of by WTO. -

Who's the dipshit "journalist" that wanted to know why Trump didn't have a plan in place to prevent obesity, high blood pressure, or other disease in POC? -

Trump: his economic advisors are interested in Q3 and Q4. He seems to be really hyping Q4. A lot. (Will it happen or come back and bite him?)

This Acosta/Trump exchange is awesome! Fauci when Trump said "run again AOC" was hilarious. -

Dr. Brix: (paraphrased) testing. Same testing platform we run for HIV loads. This is complicated. Every day more are brought online. Daily test expectations. Last year we did 3-4M last year (HIV tests). We have done 2.2M (COVID-19) in the last few weeks. This is unprecedented. Surveying where the hot sports are (nursing homes). Strategic approach is needed. Testing symptomatic people and their contacts. This is why the President wanted an antibody test. They are working on a finger prick test. -
Trump talking about oil. Mexico (OPEC+) will reduce by 100K barrels. They'd be 250K (350K?) short, they (Mexico) would make it up to us at a later date. (sounds pretty much like what Hubby told me earlier) We will be reimbursed "in a form" at a later date.

Surgeon General: talking about POC and why they seem to be disproportionate on the deaths. Does not seem to be predisposed due to biology. (again, paraphrased) Check on your mother, she wants to hear from you right now. (Went into grandma in Spanish, pop-pop, big mama, etc.) -

The sterilizers (of masks) from that Ohio company have been shipped out are sterilizing up to 80K a day. They can use certain types of masks up to 20x. -

Getting very few calls from Governors or anyone else (for medications or supplies). Working on the immunity testing to get it to the public. (paraphrased) Hopeful the production of tests will scale up to 10s of millions very quickly. (again, paraphrased) Talking about WHO next week. ? We used the defense protection act "like a hammer" -
Still Trump at presser (as always, paraphrased) Directed Sec Purdue to use funds and (something) available to work with our ranchers, cattlemen, producers, to make sure our food supply is safe. (And something about continuing smoothly.)

Looks like we are headed toward a number substantially less than 100K. (deaths) -

Presumed cause of death as @RoyBatty is alive pointed out. (the link goes to Time magazine) </snip> The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently issued new guidance saying it is acceptable to count undiagnosed COVID-19 cases as “probable” or “presumed” coronavirus deaths under circumstances that are “compelling within a reasonable degree of certainty.” </snip> -
He was up early. My husband (who complains about Trump a lot) said he brokered a deal on oil. Apparently, Mexico would not agree to the OPEC cuts (they offered 100K barrels a day, not the 350K OPEC wanted from them) so Trump offered up 250K barrels a day from the US. I cannot find a news source for this, but Hubby has had it open and scrolling for days now so I expect it is close to what will happen, barring any last minute shenanigans. Not sure it will be enough. Markets closed for Good Friday, although oil is down a bit due to the lack of oil use as the world economy is shut down.
