I've always been a big Andruw Jones fan, but I think he's borderline for the HOF.  He'll have to get in on his stellar defense, because his batting numbers just aren't there.  Class act.  Great player.  Played the game the right way.  He's getting closer each year and at the rate his votes are increasing, if he gets in, it'll likely be in his 10th year of eligibility.

10 Gold Gloves and over 400 homers, I mean he deserves it more than Rolen

Just dumbfounded. Two terrible charge calls in this game on Mintz. You can’t be running back on D, moving your legs, and be getting a charge call. It defies common sense. And then to call a flagrant there to end the game?! The whole idea of the flagrant is unnecessary plays— guys get hit the face and head all the time on normal drives.

Just a shame because they should have won.

Also on the UNC missed free throw, Bacot pushes Hima in the back which is why he doesn’t get the rebound and no call there either.

They drafted Elam to be able to try and play a bit more man. The problem was they ended up down to their 4th safety and the other guy on 1 knee (Poyer actually blew coverages on both the first two touchdowns), Elam only showed in flashes and I am not sure we are getting the real Tre White back.

I’m hoping they realized this and were slowly going to make the change. Dan Jackson should not see the field and next year and we need to get faster at safety

They (WGR-550 post game show) are talking about Diggs yapping at Josh on the sideline at some point late in the game, and Josh was just standing there ignoring him and not responding.

Anyone see this who was at the game or have more to comment on?

Good, at least someone seemed to give a damn today

Because it is McDermott's defense too. He is running what McDermott wants him to run. Personally I have no issue with the scheme but it can't work when the only guys playing ball are the two linebackers and the nickel corner. The secondary has been awful this year, compared to its previous standards. No Hyde, Poyer playing on one knee, Elam only showing flashes and Tre White looking like a ghost (honestly, I would not be shocked if he retires, his heart just does not look in it at all). Early in the year we covered that up some with pass rush. Once Von went down that weapon went too.

The fact is tonight the Bills were horrible all over the place. Defense couldn't stop the run or the pass, the Quarterback was bad, the playcalling confusing and the offensive line an abomination.

I don't expect them to make coordinator changes..... but the secondary and the offensive line need to look very different come September. They can't just be in "run it back" mode again. Some changes have to be made. Those two units have underperformed all year.

You have to be able to play man in the playoffs. Qbs are too good then to win with zone. If McD can’t humble up and recognize that or can’t call a man defense then he needs to bring in someone who can.

I recognize Frazier garners respect as a top tier DC and even possible HC candidate.  And in a lot ways it’s deserved.  But, I’m over his defense.

I’ve been over it since last year, he then started to win me back holding together the D through so many injuries.  But last week and this week showed his defense is a liability come playoff time, just like it’s always been.

More importantly, his entire defensive scheme is as a DISADVANTAGE in bad weather.  Offense already has an advantage in bad weather because they know where they are going on each play.  Defenders have to play off a little more in bad weather, and that just completely disrupts our defensive scheme and gives opponents wide open targets to just pick apart Fraziers D.

They won’t fire McD after what this team went through this year, but I hop we make a change at DC.

NOTE:  Also hope we see Dorsey leave so we can get a more seasoned and creative OC in here.  No way they fire him, but hope he gets the Carolina job.

Sadly I doubt either gets a HC job and doubt either gets fired.

I agree, if McD is humble enough he gets rid of Frazier and lets someone come in and run their own defense. Can’t run this mainly zone defense and win in the playoffs

Also re Dorsey at least it’s his first year, Frazier doesn’t have an excuse

Leslie Frazier would like to know.

Did he say when on the weekend the interview was going to be?

If he interviews Sunday after the game, in theory not too much impact.

    ??

Should have made my point a little clearer haha, I meant he had just game planned for the bengals a few weeks ago so he should have a good idea as to what they want to do and this interview shouldnt impact the game that much

Tage makes no sense.  The guy is 6'7" but his greatest talent is operating in small spaces and a lightning release.  Its like watching a giraffe do perfect ballet in a phone booth.  His stick is 8 feet long and his wingspan is that of an albatross but he has elite puck handling skills in traffic and gets shots off with minimal room to operate.  He is still filling out his adult frame and will only get stronger, potentially faster.

His slap shot is ridiculous as well, I thought I remember a stat that he had  a couple of the top spots for fastest ones recorded this year?

His goal on the PP this last game was beautiful

  10. That game just felt like everything was going wrong for Cuse and despite that still pulled it out

you are preaching to the choir about why these kids shouldn’t transfer. But that seems to be the way of college bball now. I really love Copeland’s potential— but he is good as gone. Also, guys like Carey, Brown, Taylor, and Bell

    all seem like transfer risks.

With Edwards and JG3 leaving after this year, I expect Taylor and Bell to get much more PT next year. Heck Taylor and Bell both played a decent amount last game, I particularly think Taylor's confidence is growing and you can see it in his play
