  1. Police could just stop killing people. It shouldn’t be all that hard. No one should be killing anyone. Youre pretending that a single Target store’s windows are more important than someone’s life.
  2. It’s already in the works. I’d bet everything that I have that there’s already legislation written and sitting on Nancy’s desk right now waiting to be introduced in the future. Ha!!! Not everyone agrees. The North American Meat Institute took issue with the study, https://www.cbsnews.com/news/is-it-time-to-put-a-tax-on-meat/#app
  3. Are we supposed to be sad that a corporation like CVS suffered some vandalism when they’re funneling millions of dollars to police for “added protection” which perpetuates the bad behavior and contributes to the bloated police state? if you’re goal is to disrupt the money flow to police, isn’t that exactly who the protesters should be targeting?
  4. No one said you can’t ever have beef again. We’re going to “reduce” meat consumption, and how you do that is by taxing the hell out of it to change “bad behavior.” That’s what we did with cigarettes, and many other things that lead to death if not used in moderation. I won’t even get into the strain on the HC system from the meat and dairy industries.
  5. Yeah. The police shouldn’t behave this way. It’s very costly in the end.
  6. It’s the most impactful choice that 1 individual can make if they care about the environment. Not buying a Prius, or recycling, or anything else. it’s not the 1700’s anymore. The “Swedes” will be fine. What’s different today is that other countries like Brazil and China are now eating beef in large amounts. That wasn’t the case 20 years ago. They’re knocking down rainforests now to raise cattle on. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/dec/21/lifestyle-change-eat-less-meat-climate-change
  7. Beef production needs about 28 times more land than the production of pork or chicken, and requires 11 times more water. When you compare it to other food items such as rice, for example, and potatoes or wheat, beef needs 160 times more land, and releases 11 times more greenhouse gases.
  8. Food addiction is no joke. IMO, it’s worse than a heroin addiction because it actually kills your body quicker. You see all of the same behaviors, excuse making, etc (vitamin lies)that you would see from a heroin addict also. As a nation, we should be treating them exactly the same. America is addicted to bad food.
  9. If you got your news from this board you’d think that Portland and Minneapolis are piles of rubble. Nothing left.
  10. You been drinking out of the ocean again haven’t you?
  11. Water is definitely the biggest issue. It takes something like 100 gallons just to get 1 hamburger on your plate. Thats factoring in the water used to grow whatever the cow eats and drinks until it’s slaughtered, etc. Im not a huge fan of Bernie but he’s actually right when he talks about environmental refugees. Yemen has been out of water for years. They will have to be relocated. It will also lead to more terrorism since they’re literally starving to death. I don’t hate you because you’re fat. You’re fat because I hate you. - Mean Girls
  12. He is your next president.
  13. What an amazing man that Biden is. Most successful “first 100 days” in history! IMO, you can’t really have an honest conversation about the environment without first mentioning “meat consumption.” Nothing else really matters until the “fatties” stop this behavior.
  14. Clear sailing.... Biden Job Approval: Approve 58% Disapprove 38% @MorningConsult/@politico, 1,992 RV, 4/16-19 assets.morningconsult.com/wp-uploads/202…
  15. Tucker made the list! What a terrible list. The GOP isn’t winning anything anytime soon. 2024 Republican Primary: DeSantis 21% Cruz 18% Haley 10% Pompeo 9% Carlson 8% Noem 4% Cotton 4% Hawley 2% Abbott 2% Nunes 2%
  16. Speaking of “next President” Watch out for Dem Governor Cooper from NC. Hugely popular moderate in a purple state. Overall good dude. If he chooses to run for higher office, he will win.
  17. Where are you getting all of the weird sources? The Donald section on Reddit? You take them from there and just paste them here?
  18. That’s really the worst part of it too because Russia then launched their digital operation/micro-targeting in those states down the stretch.
  19. It’s a mixed bag. Retirees go to these states because they’re on a fixed income and don’t have to pay tax on their SS. The downside to that is you have a population that doesn’t care about the state itself, schools, etc. They don’t want to pay for anything. Lots of college kids. Half of them don’t end up staying there too long. it’s not like people are moving there because they like Ted Cruz and DeSantis. Lol. That’s silly. Raleigh has the research triangle which supplies a bunch of new jobs for young people. HC is another big one in the states since the population is old as dirt.
  20. Florida is an environmental disaster after years of Republican rule. You can’t even go to the beach anymore. It’s either red tide, or some other disaster. There just isn’t any reason to go there anymore.
  21. That won’t happen until the blue states stop subsidizing the poor red states.
  22. So who would that be? Zaven Collins or that Nick kid, or someone in the 2nd round?
  23. You’re obviously too far gone to have this discussion.
  24. Fascism is the result of Nationalism. Trump ran as a Nationalist. One only has to open a history book about WW1 and what happens when Nationalism takes center stage to see that.
