  1. I think he will definitely make it to 12. I guess now that you mention it it wouldn't be the biggest surprise ever if someone took him higher than that.
  2. I think the Bills will need to trade up from 22 if they want to get both Jackson and a top LB prospect.
  3. It is definitely a choice. You never handicap yourself into a corner. The Jets just blew up the market for the top picks. We are way beyond what the Eagles gave up in value to get Wentz. I have been a proponent of trading up, but things have changed dramatically now.
  4. Tre White is one of the only top-end franchise value players that the Bills have. CB is one of those positions that needs a cornerstone player, that is worth a massive contract. We have a young, top-end performer on a cheap rookie deal. In the NFL, you don't trade those types of players for picks.
  5. They both tend to hold the ball too long and rely on the scramble to make up for slow progressions.
  6. Rosen won't get past 2. I'm not sure it matters who the team that makes the pick is. I think moves like trading Watkins and Glenn were the smart thing to do whether there was a master plan to trade up or not. Watkins wasn't deemed good enough to use the franchise tag on, and the Rams let him go to the highest bidder.
  7. Maybe. At best. I don't doubt that the Giants are trying to win with Manning until he retires or his ability falls off a cliff (which could happen at any point). But they aren't likely to pick at #2 again, and NFL franchises have a longer horizon than one or two years.
  8. Yeah that makes sense to me. I think it will be 1. Darnold 2. Rosen 3. Mayfield 4. Barkley Bills will miss out on this class or find a way to get Allen.
  9. Something tells me if the Giants were trying to trade out of #2, the Jets would have aimed for that. I have a strong feeling that the Giants are taking a QB.
  10. Facts and opinions don't mix. That's why there is a different word to distinguish them from one another. I for one like my opinions to be as uneducated and as far from the truth as possible. An opinion based purely on emotion and perception is ideal.
  11. I don't see what difference that makes!
  12. Now hopefully the peanuts part is true as well. Just adds icing to the cake. Mmmm cake
  13. Right? He could do much better with those sultry shoulders and head-turning hairline.
  14. I love it. Low cost with potential. Not an expensive subpar known quantity that other teams are fighting over
  15. I don't think the idea of the trade itself was that bad, or that the compensation for the move up was unfair. It simply is the case that Sammy Watkins explosive ability displayed in college only translated to the NFL in short intervals. He has been a persistently injured player. Even when healthy, he didn't live up to his billing. That's the risk you take when you move up to select your guy instead of choosing from those that are available to you. Nobody would be complaining if he met the consensus expectations held by the NFL scouting community.
  16. I finally scrounged up the source. It's from yesterday. Just speculation apparently: http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/03/espn_names_buffalo_bills_as_team_that_might_target_ndamukong_suh_after_release.html Suh fits the mold of the 4-3 defensive tackle Buffalo desperately needs with Marcell Dareus gone and Kyle Williams heading for free agency or retirement. The Bills' signing cornerback Vontae Davis to a one-year worth up to $8 million showed they could be in the market for older, more accomplished free agents. If the price tag is right, Suh could fit that bill. Not from a source.
  17. I felt this coming. Hopefully it wasn't gas. It would make a lot of sense to me. Got a link btw?
  18. More like Rosen is going to bust all over the league for 12 years.
  19. Kyle Williams is very close to retirement. Incognito is 34 years old. Benjamin is a piece, but certainly not a top-end #1 WR. That you are reaching for Lawson and Holmes really says it all in terms of the talent level on this team. Lets see: Malik Jackson, Telvin Smith, Jalen Ramsey, AJ Bouye, Myles Jack, Yannick Ngakoue, Calais Campbell.
  20. All just terminology. If there is a player that you think has a high probability of being a franchise guy, the price does become somewhat secondary. Because if you are right, you underpaid. That doesn't necessarily have to be a top five pick, but if that's the market perception, the cost can't be allowed to be an obstacle when you have the means.
  21. I see Tre White as a cornerstone kind of player. I see two very good safeties on fantastic contracts. I see good coaching and a reason to be optimistic with the front office. Shady McCoy is an amazing win now asset and fun to watch. That's about it. Beyond that, there is very little talent or anything of trade value. That Jacksonville team makes our team look like dog****. And that is with a mediocre at best quarterback. They likely have more talent on defense than we could compile from every roster in the last ten years.
