  1. We are all disappointed this year. We will see what they do with their picks and cap space. Too damn many people here think they're Nostradamus.
  2. No All is not forgiven. They have made good decisions and bad. The extreme nonsense around here is exactly that. Nonsense.
  3. Yes I think they can make quality decisions because they have done so. Name the teams with as little talent as we have on offense.
  4. Of course you won't read it. Because it is conflict with your preconceived opinion. By the way Eric Bienemy is the offensive coordinator of the Chiefs. I am sure Reid has a lot of impact just like McD has on our D. And I am equally sure the Bills know they have to address the offense. Drafting a QB high is part of that. Coaches as part of that. And you have zero clue how the coaching is being done. And I did all that without resorting to using capital letters. Imagine that.
  5. Better. But you see this all the time around here. Statements are made and then just denied or claimed they were taken wrong etc. Make a statement, take a position, and own it.
  6. Read the article in si about Mahomes and the impact Kafka has had.
  7. Theydidn't and their a good team. This is directly from your post. And when called on it now you say you're not saying that. It is an example of why this board is infuriating at times. People say things, make claims and then just deny them when it all of a sudden doesn't support reality.
  8. Right. In fact less talented guys often become really good coaches because they had to study things a lot harder to make it
  9. You know who the QB coach is for the Chiefs? Mike Kafka. His career. He played four games total in the league. Coaches can be effective even with limited experience at a specific position.
  10. You saying the Cowboys are a good team is amusing.
  11. You are full of it. Hate to say it so bluntly but you are. You did not have any clue Mahomes would be this good before last year's draft. Not at that time. And you now use hindsight to say you did. That is crap. I have said a number of times now they messed up by not bringing in Anderson or another vet when McCarron got traded. So another false accusation by you. You are the one that gets ridiculous around here. You go on and on about past poor decisions as if the current regime has anything to do with those. You rant about how the Pegulas don't care and just want money. Your schtick is old and tired. They made decisions this year to get rid of cap space, which in turn meant getting rid of guys that didn't measure up. They drafted a guy they think will be their QB. Next off season they have to hit draft picks and FAs to improve the offense. If they do well the team will be successful. If not they won't. That's reality. Not the depressive fantasy you choose for yourself.
  12. The title of the OP was. Or text: the guy struggled in camp. And fixed it. And now is playing great. Good for him. But so many here who now claim they knew he'd be this level before last year's draft are full of crap.
  13. Says the consppiracy theorist who thinks this is all because the Pegulas want your money.
  14. I would have liked Watson, said so at the time. Mahomes had a lot of questions regarding footwork and ability to adapt to the pro game.
  15. So if it's going to take a couple years to evaluate, your statement that one class is stronger has no meaning. For one thing they are different regimes making the call. When are you going to get that through your head?
  16. That might just be because 2017 is a year more experience that 2018.
  17. Youth is wasted on the young. Old farts like us understand perspective
  18. They are what they've said is their plan.
  19. They have discussed their plan constantly. They want to be competitive short term while building a team that is a contender long term. Thee were competitive last year, as in a playoff team. They talked about clearing cap space. They have. They talked about how you can't win in the league without a QB. They drafted one. This year sucks so far because they are taking a huge cap hit to clear space, and because they screwed up a couple things, like not getting a guy like Anderson here earlier. But don't come on here and say they have no plan. They do. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean they have no plan.
  20. Despite them talking constantly about having a plan, they have no plan. Got it.
  21. Something like 27-13
  22. 50/50 right now. They have the QB they want and the MLB they want. Young guys that should grow and improve. They have the cap space freed up and draft picks to use for players or bargaining chips. If they make the right moves this coming offseason they should be in good shape. If not they won't.
  23. My experience is somewhat different. Leaders decide how they want their organization to run and decide the principles under which it operates. That to me is culture. Then they stay firm on establishing that mindset. Generally then, you find employees who've been dying to have that kind of culture and buy in, and you find those who don't. They either leave on their own or are encouraged to seek other alternatives. In football to me its about establishing how you want your team to succeed. And then everything is centered on that, how you draft, what FAs you look for, who you sign, and so on.
  24. I would put money on the fact that no one on this board had ever heard of this guy before. And now just because the Bills might have been thinking about him, he must not be that good because, of course, the front office can't evaluate talent. As if anyone here has any clue about the guy.
