Probably the best vs. the run amongst all his peers, and his ability to shoot gaps and get TFL's are equally important to this defense. Pressure up the gut will open lanes for DE's and LBers stunting. And double teams he will draw will Definately help the pass rush get home

I think they were scouting quite a few players at ND this year. Some good players will come out of there. Maybe not 1st rounders, but very solid

Players go out to warm ups only to be inactive in the game all the time. Like, literally every single game ever played. Players nowadays also regularly sit out bowl games, etc. to protect themselves for the draft. Its quite common. Not sure its much more than that. A knee injury, draft upcoming....just a precaution probably. Im sure any GM will get the inside scoop prior to drafting him

Well, 70+million is not bad for a career journeyman 7th round pick. Thats pretty prolific. I think he's beat in the kid department. He only has 6. Antonio Cromartie has him whooped in the kid rankings lol

You are Kinda right. You didn't say he was always injured. But you didn't say his knee issues could be a red flag either. What you said was "his measurable were a disappointment. He has a history of injuries, and he may not be coachable". Of course, that was in the top 9 in the draft thread. I'm not trying to argue. I admit that wholeheartedly. I watched it over and over again. He was out of line, as was Applewhite. He did NOT however attempt to assault his coach. He approached him, let him have an angry earfull, at which time players got between them. That said, that was the one blemish on his otherwise great career to this point. If there are any more incidents that I am unaware of, please enlighten me and perhaps my opinion will change. But to my other question, and I'd really like a response, was he always injured as you said last night? Or was he faking it as you said minutes ago?

Well, over the course of the last 6 games, our offense averaged 22 points a game. So, 3 TD's a game.If we were to extrapolate that into a 16 game window, that's 48. And if we are to believe that Allen will improve, and our line has improved, and our WR's have improved,50 is not out of the realm of possibilities.
