This has been the craziest start to the offseason in living memory. What a fun day.

This simple play would have in the top 5 for our receivers last year.

Brown is virtually Foster and Beasley is virtually Jones. There is no upgrade.
If Brown is like Foster that means we actually have 2 starting outside receivers, which is a huge upgrade. And if Jones was a free agent he wouldn't come close to $7 million per year. This signing makes me think Zay is being phased out. They aren't waiting for him to "develop," they're going to cut their losses and move on. I love to see it.

This might be my favorite signing yet. Finally a receiver that you can rely on to make a tough catch.
-
So I'm guessing no Darryl Williams and probably an OT drafted early.

With these receiver signings I feel pretty confident we're going d-line at #9. Oliver will be the pick if he's still there.

Eh I was actually happy they overpaid him. I'd rather they overpay Barr than Bell so I don't take this as good news.
-
I'd be okay with a 3 year deal. I'd rather not put a bunch of future cap space into a RB and eventually we need to get younger at the position.

but they have also have A TON of money to spend and the salary cap goes up EVERY YEAR.
Spending money just to spend money is how you end up with Trumaine Johnson as your starting CB, or end up like the Dolphins. Don't understand what the Jets are doing. They're going to move Barr to a position he hasn't played consistently in the NFL, and they overpaid a run stopping MLB. Reminds me of the Rex/Whaley years.

Lol! I can't believe they guaranteed Mosley $50 million. This is up there with the Landon Collins signing. A player that has no business in the modern NFL signing a massive deal.

Lmao, who cares? They are trying to capitalize on Darnolds rookie deal window. They are trying to win now.
In what universe is paying $17 million per year to a LB that can't cover "capitalizing" on anything? This is a terrible deal.

I hope this happens just to see the Jets fans' reactions.

Woah Rapaport is reporting Antonio Brown has been traded to the Bills

I was hoping for him or Darryl Williams at RT. Haven't heard anything about him Williams yet.
-
Worst deal of the day has to be Landon Collins. I somehow missed that earlier. A safety who can't cover got $80 million? In 2019?? What happened there?

Woah that's crazy expensive. I thought he would get like $9 million a year.
Can someone explain how Devin Funchess and Anthony Barr end up getting paid more than Mitch Morse?

Meaning it is essentially a 1 year Deal with easy out after year 1.
It's Trent Murphy's contract all over again. Never believe the initial report.

Meh. Feels weird for them to sign Crowder and Bellamy, both of them feel like #3's.

This is great! I wanted him or Paradis more than anyone.

The front office likes guys with upside that have been injured recently which gets them a discount. The upside of that model is Jordan Poyer, the downside is Trent Murphy. As usual I'll wait for the guaranteed money before judging it.
All quiet on the offensive line front. I think our biggest spending will go there.

If Bills are making a strong offer we won't know anything until it's final. OBD has been air tight since McDermott took over.

Good signing. Dont want Wallace becoming complacent.
Exactly, it's very similar to Ramon Humber last year. He pushed Milano to be his best. No one is being handed a starting role.

I don't understand this from the Raiders perspective at all. They aren't close to being contenders yet with Derek Carr playing like crap lately and a historically bad defense. They let Mack go because they couldn't pay him, then they turn around and guarantee Brown all this money. By the time they're legit contenders he will be past his prime. Weird move for them.
