Oh well. I honestly don't care that much. We have a lot of TEs and Kroft isn't special. If he's the only major injury of OTAs I'm fine with that

You forgot Coleman who Bills got for a 7th round pick assuming contract and then cut.
Good. We have an owner willing to spend $2 million for a longshot try out player. Who cares?

He literally said FIRST starting alignment. He means the very first way they line up at OTAs.I'm already regretting that post. If I had to predict where it scruslly ends up I'd go:
Dawkins - Spain - Morse - Teller - Ford
Teller is my bold prediction to start.

Ducasse?
For the first starting alignment tomorrow, sure. I'm guessing they will give the veterans first go at it, other than Ford since they see him as a 1st round talent. Wouldn't surprise me to see Feliciano there instead and I'm thinking Spain will end up starting there when all is said and done.

My prediction for the first starting alignment is:
Dawkins - Ducasse - Morse - Long - Ford

I'll mainly be watching Allen and the receivers. It's hard to tell who's performing well in non contact practices but I want to see if Allen is throwing accurately and if receivers are consistently catching the ball. I'm also curious to see what the first offensive line starting alignment looks like.

Football disaster, eh? Rex won 15 games in a bit less than 2 seasons with the team.
McDermott? 15 wins in 2 seasons as well.
McDermott and Beane came into a bad team on both sides of the ball promising to repair the salary cap and build a long term contender. It was well understood that there would be a couple painful years. Rex came in to the #2 defense and promised to improve to #1. This upcoming year is where the team really needs to show improvement.

these guys didn't come in their and blow up there respective teams
Uh the Rams definitely blew up the team. I mean did you not pay any attention at all to what they'e done? They've been trading for players and using up cap space with reckless abandon since 2017. They're a bad example anyways because Les Snead has been the GM there since 2012 - doesn't that go completely against the narrative you're trying to prove? But since McVay took over they added Woods, Watkins, Cooks, Fowler, Peters, Talib, and Whitworth.
Yeah, almost exactly the same team as Jeff Fisher had. Other than the 3 new starting receivers, the new DE, the 2 new starting CBs, and the new starting LT. And a rookie QB entering his 2nd year. And going from $21 million in dead cap in 2016 to $10 million in dead cap in 2017. Does that remind you of another team Scott?

The Bills beat the Colts in OT when McCoy ran for 65 yards for the winning score ... after the Bills allowed the Colts to score their only TD on a 19 play drive that took up nearly 10 minutes of the 4th quarter.
The Bills wouldn't have made the playoffs despite Shady's heroics against Indy if Andy Dalton didn't throw a 49 yard TD pass to Tyler Boyd on a fourth and 12 play with less than a minute to play to keep Baltimore from taking the final wild card slot.
Yep. And we won 9 games. 9 win teams make the playoffs all the time and it always depends on other teams losses.

The Bills landed in the 2017 playoffs only because the Colts defenders couldn't tackle Shady in a snowstorm and the Ravens defenders fell asleep on 4th and 12 at the end of the game
Interesting. We won 9 games but somehow only 2 plays got us into the playoffs. We must be the only 9 win team in history to make the playoffs. Cool.

Weird how people tied to the Patriots keep getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time and are never at fault. It must be a coincidence.

There's no way this would actually happen, right?

we had countless people on here prior to this past season saying "we made the playoffs last year, how could we possibly go backwards by improving this year?!"
No we did not

Let’s not pile on the Jets. We have virtually no idea what the Bills will be this season.
We could be the next train wreck come spring of 2020.
Nah, I'll pile on the Jets. Thanks for the advice.

Seems a little late now. This is the kind of decision you need to make before spending the money. And this puts Bell and Mosley in a very awkward position. This is as dysfunctional as it gets.

And FOSTER's role can be to get CBs and Ss away from the line of scrimmage. I'm not dissing Brown, but everything points to him being, at most, a piece of a larger puzzle. He isn't likely to be the answer at #1.
There's nothing wrong with Foster and Brown offering the same skill set. It's a very important skill set and there's no such thing as too much speed on the outside. Personally I am hoping they just build a vertical offense. Obviously Allen needs to get better at choosing his shots, the check down to the RB or TE or Beasley will sometimes be the better choice. But I don't want to see us try to build a dink and dunk offense. I want our receivers 15+ yards down the field more often than not. Why not play around what Allen does well?
I don't expect us to have a true #1 this year but I think Brown and Foster will essentially double as our #1.

It amazes me that after all the blowouts we saw last year that people thought that defense passed the eyeball test as one of the greatest defenses in Bills history..........which a top 2 unit would indicate it was.
Well no, it doesn't indicate that. Defensive rankings are relative to the rest of the league. I don't know if you've noticed but the era of elite shutdown defenses is over. Rule changes and new offensive concepts have made it harder than ever to stop teams from scoring points. You can't compare defenses today to defenses from past decades.

Luckily they just traded for a QB who's known for being really good at escaping a pass rush

Calling it now: Zay Jones will not be on the week 1 roster.

I know it's just OTAs but this theory doesn't look good right now:

With the caveat that Brown and Beasley didn't practice. I still feel pretty good about my prediction that Zay will end up sharing time as the #3 outside receiver.
