You didn’t really start to hate Edwards until later on down the road....Post Cleveland 08 but seeing this game again (13 years later) this guy was checking it down like crazy already. We just wanted a guy so bad that you were willing to give every excuse humanly possible to believe. It’s funny, it’s like for 18 years we tried to find any reason to prove to people our qb wasn’t bad and with Josh it’s like we try to find any reason to say he isn’t good.

It’s only half serious but FR...don’t give this guy #11. Everyone that wears that number for the Bills ends up being terrible. Just find a reason to tell him he can’t have it. I’m sure it’s not a “real” thing, but let’s not take the chance.

If you draft a punter you can move on from 1 or both of the guys we have now. We certainly didn’t need a CB if that’s your argument. This guy won’t make the team unless he turns out to be a big time ST player

Lol the first time this guy gets big reps in a preseason game and lights up some 2s with our WR depth is going to be fun. I’m excited to see what this kid can do but I fully realize he’s probably at best a backup. Never know, he could turn out to be a Case Keanum type.

Watching him, he certainly doesn’t have a plus fastball but I’m also not seeing his arm strength as a liability. He doesn’t look like Chad Pennington to me. Not saying that I saw a lot of him but it seems to me like he can play in the league.

For Fromms own good, don’t allow him to wear #11 on the Bills. That number seems to be cursed. Don’t give it to anyone.

This team has almost no holes. I’d much rather take a flier on a qb that had a way higher grade then round 5...then to waste a pick on some depth lineman or Dback that we don’t even need. If this guy turns out to be a long term backup, then it’s a great pick. If he ends up being a flop, no harm done. Way more to gain by trying. Nothing risked IMO.

The guy seems to be the type of guy you would see grown into a potential long term backup. A little Frank Reich esk. To be there if Allen goes down

I really, really don’t think we needed a WR at all. There’s zero chance any WR beyond round 1 had any chance of actually playing in our offense. Any chance this guy is a ST guy? And that’s the plan?

I feel like at this point, there’s physically not a lot of space for more players. Take swings at the oddball positions that can possibly make them. We don’t need any depth lineman and the defense is set. Go get the best punter in college football. And go after a guy that can be a backup QB. Don’t fill these picks with depth lineman or Dbacks that we don’t need and won’t make the team anyway. The only position that one of these guys has a shot at making the team is; Punter, back up QB

Seems like an old school, nasty physical runner. I hope he picks a number in the high 30s or 40s to go with that throw back style. Just refusing to go down and running around with a FB number out there.

I don’t know a lot about this player but from what people keep saying, I’m just picturing Shaq Lawson mixed with Chris Kelsey ?‍♂️. Like I said before, Beane and Mcd has done a really good job with the draft. I trust them. First time I have trusted a Bills FO in a very long time.
